I can’t say enough good things about David and his moving company Goliath! They moved us both locally, across San Jose neighborhoods, and then most recently across the country to Chicago. David, the owner, was there at loading and then even flew to Chicago to oversee the local team here! He runs a great business, doesn’t ask for an upfront deposit, just half at pickup and the other half at delivery, and his teams are awesome, either taking apart or wrapping every piece of furniture. He was by far the best choice for us when comparing other local/smaller companies we weren’t sure we could trust and the pricey and impersonal national companies. He also had our things driven straight from San Jose to Chicago in our own designated truck so it only took 4 days to get it across the country! We used a national company before that took over 2 weeks and didn’t even arrive in the window they promised. David is also just a super nice person, easy to talk to, really lovely. Always so great to go with a local company with the owner directly involved in all parts of the process. Highly recommend David and Goliath for both local and national moves!

We just finished our move yesterday and we are so glad we went with Goliath Moving. We had 4 guys, but I could have sworn there were five. Everyone worked so hard, communicated with us well and asked thoughtful questions and had great attention to detail. Will use these guys again!

I’ve used the moving services of Goliath in the bay area 4 times since 2016 and every time have been impressed by the quality of the service and the professionalism of its staff. The value of the service far exceeds the charges and expenses and at the end you feel grateful to pick David and his crew for your moving services. Professional, punctual, courteous and careful. What more could you ask for from a moving company? They moved my daughter in to her dorm at UC Davis without a hitch.We couldn’t find the screws to assemble her huge bed and they were incredible in solving that problem as well! David is all capital letters Amazing! He did our move from San Jose Ca to Milton Ga and it was flawless. No stress, no breakage and all on time. Great crews on each end and David flew from Ca to Ga and was here when the truck got here. We have no plans to move again but if we did we would be looking for David.

What a great team that helped us move from Santa Clara to Lincoln CA. The guys were professional, fun spirited as they spent countless trips up & down the stairs in the first house. I have to believe they were thankful the destination was a single story home. Our "treasures" were handled & wrapped with care and delivered without any issues. We will recommend & use this wonderful company again if the chance ever happens. Thanks so much for the easiest part of our relocation.

Three different members of our extended family have used Goliath to move to Oregon. We all had a terrific experience with our moves. Goliath is locally owned, and you deal with the owner, David. he is great to deal with, and very fair in his pricing. His crews are polite, helpful, and hard-working. The crew that they had on the Portland end were equally good. One of us moved several hundred books, which they packed and had to carry down stairs on the Portland end, which they did with alacrity. I highly recommend Goliath

We had the best moving experience with the help from David’s crews! David is very experienced. Before sending his movers, he would take time do a video walk through to evaluate the workloads, offer helpful suggestions to guide our packing process, make it most effective (less hours spent) moving! Super rude to me during our phone call. I was trying to explain my company to him, and he kept talking over me and laughing about it. Not cool man.
