I reached out to Ruby since our taxes did not seem to be adding up correctly, when we used a well known tax software. She was quick to respond to our request, walked us through the process, & was very helpful. She also provided a breakdown of her costs and tasks associated which were clear & reasonable. Within the matter of a couple days, she was able to process our taxes & verified we in fact, had miscalculated the amount we owed. Without her support, we would have lost a large amount of money that we now can put towards next years tax payment. We are thankful for the help & plan on using Ruby's services again.

I have been doing my taxes with Ruby for the past 4 years. She is very efficient and always takes time to address my queries. She is trustworthy and always available if you need to chat with her about any financial decisions. If you want your taxes to be done right, I definitely recommend Ruby.

I’ve always felt that it is better to pay someone to prepare your taxes than to try to deal with stress yourself. However, this year we decided to use turbo tax because we had to turn in a financial aid application with completed taxes by Feb 3 to my child’s school. This gave us an almost impossible window between receiving all of our tax forms in the mail and filing our taxes. I didn’t think it was realistic nor kind to give Ruby the few forms we already received and then expect her to finish the return within a short window of receiving the remainder forms. We’re both smart professionals and we’re not completely inept when it comes to taxes, we can figure it out with their “step by step guidance”. Well, it turns out that turbo tax is very glitchy— it skipped an entire section of deductions which we didn’t realize until we saw our DMV vehicle license fee paperwork and donation paperwork untouched. Then the program entered in one of my 1099s twice which increased the amount I owe by $500 (Ruby found this error). Then when I couldn’t figure out how to answer one of the questions regarding type of long term capital gain, I called the turbo tax “free support” number and waited on hold forever before giving up. We had already spent a couple of hours answering questions and we tired, frustrated, and were unsure of how to answer this very important question. I called Ruby who I’ve been going to for a handful of years and she completed my return within a couple of days. Turbo tax said I owed almost $4k more than what Ruby calculated and she also found the double entry of the 1099-DIV. I haven’t used turbo tax since my early twenties, when my financial situation was simple, and this year was a reminder that I will not bother with turbo tax again.

Fractions Tax Services responded quickly to my questions and able to fit me during a busy tax season. Reviewed what I had, submitted and advised me for this coming year. Very professional and fees are more than reasonable. Will continue to use for book keeping and tax needs.

Ruby did my taxes for 2023, and she made the process incredibly smooth and straightforward. She took the time to answer all my questions in a graspable way, and was quick to respond/very reliable. I ended up having to send her a last minute change to one of my documents, and she was able to adjust, work in the changes, and complete the return promptly. I encountered Ruby's Yelp page for her services back in September or so after disengaging with an accountant that was not performing to my standards (I am actually pretty easy going, just keep my Quickbooks easy to comprehend-especially if you are doing the deductions).Ruby was able to take my call randomly in the middle of the day and we carried on discussing my business needs and future plans. She listened very intently and made some suggestions as well!After about 20 minutes of planning, we agreed on a monthly fee for her services and began out working relationship.So far, she has been able to clean up my Quickbooks, give me projections and also handled all of my business deductions.Things have been smooth and will remain so with no change in sight with Ruby!Highly recommended for her professionalism and thoroughness.If you have other business matters to worry about and want to find someone you can trust to keep your accounting sharp, you've come to the right page!

Ruby helped me out on my personal tax returns. This it the first time I am using an accounting as this year's return was very complex. Ruby guided me through it and gave good suggestions. She was responsive and completed my return quickly. I had to amend my return as my W2 data from my employer changed and Ruby helped me out with that as well. Will use her for all my future tax returns.

After we were dropped by our CPA at the last minute on 04/14/2022 @ 8:39 pm, which was also referred to us by our other CPA who retired after 23 years, we called Ruby. She answered the phone at 10:30 pm and scheduled us for Saturday. She got our taxes done on the same day. She spent 2 hours going through everything with us. She was very prompt and professional. We will be using her services from now on and could not be happier with our choice. Thank you so much for all your help and we greatly appreciate it
