One of the worst hotels that I stayed in the recent times.Starting with the elevator. Gum was stuck on the floor of the elevator.The room was dirty, as hell. There was a patch of wet carpet right next to the bed. There was no cutlery in the room, including no coffee maker. You need to go down to the front desk to ask for them. Noise from people walking in the pathway and from outside the street was loud, even though the windows were kept closed.The shower in the bathroom is possibly broken. When turned on, the water sprinkles to the top towards the roof. Soaps were slightly bigger than a rounded pill. ?Being in the downtown, you'd expect a not so great environment. However, it looks like a lot of the folks staying in the hotel are regulars, and dwellers of downtown.Overall, it is as good as a 1-star motel.

We never got our refund we were supposed to stay there for one night I don’t recommend coming here we tried to switch rooms because it smelled so bad and then when we went to the office they were completely flooded and couldn’t help us so we had to leave and didn’t stay and then there were bugs also one of the employees offered us a free room but that never ended up happening the manager denied to speak to us as well just don’t go here service is horrible

Very bad area. No cameras. Dangerous homeless encampment right down the street. I travel for work and I was planning on staying here for 2 weeks. On the 3rd night ,my work truck was broken into using a drill, and they tried to steal the whole truck. They completely grinded out my ignition trying to steal it. I parked within 50 feet of the front door with my cab facing the door. The thieves probably spent a good while in my truck trying to steal it and nobody saw them. I didn't know any of it happened until the next evening. The front desk knew a car had been broken into but did nothing to see who's it was. My back hatch was wide open all day because of it. The tow truck driver told me he has to tow cars in this area every day because the ignition was grinded out. It's insane they have no cameras on property. When checking out, the manager had no idea any of this even happened. I'm in a hotel 300 days out of the year and this is easily my worst experience ever at a hotel.

I booked online and the pictures looked welcoming. Just a weekend at Great America. When we arrived the place was small and far from welcoming. It smelled like a take out restaurant. It was dark and dingy. The room was not clean or updated. Zero amenities.

Any hotel that contracts with Lifemoves Non Profit Homeless Program should rethink about dealing with that organization. Many other hotels have already found out that their case load gets shoved on hotel staff! I wont stay anywhere that has that program in it! They don't care about the businesses that they contract with or their clients. It will only get worse!

I have stayed at many lovely Extended Stay hotels. I am deeply disappointed on the condition of this place. Broken elevator, dirty rooms, odors in the hallways, urine smells in the stairwells, and the amount of people hanging out in the parking lot. It appears this may be a hotel where the city issues vouchers for the homeless.

I travel over 250 days a year. This was one of the worst experiences I've had. I had to switch rooms multiple times due to things wrong with the room. My room was located in the third floor and the elevators didn't work. I had to carry my luggage up and slipped on the stairs. Not to mention the water was shut off throughout hours of the day. The cleanliness throughout the building is in horrible condition. There is a lot of suspicious traffic in and out all day and all night long. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Its not a safety place, there are way too much cockroaches, is smells bad, doesnt have cleaning service, and too many Homeless. It shouldn't even get One star.

Rooms are covered in roaches and bedbugs. Checked in, went to my room, and immediately left. Thankfully they gave me my money back.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The location is terribly sketchy and feels unsafe. The room was not clean at all. The icing on the cake was the bed smelling like pee so we ended up leaving and getting a refund at about 11pm at night. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL I would have rather slept in my car.Rooms: Gross roomSafety: Area had people yelling at you from a distance so you walk faster.

The parking lot was like a prison yard. Filled with seedy people and vehicles filled to the brim. Google the term "Extended Stay San Jose homeless". The Mercury story will tell all.There were unleashed dogs in the hallways. People in lawn chairs at the entrance and broken glass in the parking lot. For 180/night I'd expect a better experience.

My apartment had a water leak so my leasing office placed us here for a week. First impression is that this place is a place a lot of people call home. Gates are broken so they stay open. Lots of broken down cars in the parking lot and looks as though most of them are being "worked on" on a daily basis. When I checked in I asked for a parking pass and the lady at the front desk said she didn't have any to give me ! I asked if my car was safe from being towed and she said probably but I can't be for certain. As me and my son made our way up to our room we saw that the hallway was absolutely filthy. Looks as if it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. As we walked to our room you can hear lots of people screaming as if they're having a manic episode. The smell of dirty mop water and weed hits the in the face as soon as you walk into the hotel. As we entered the room it smelt like mildew. I was so tired at this point I just wanted to sleep. We climbed into bed and went to sleep. When I woke up the next morning and walked into the bathroom I noticed that there was a freaking mushroom growing out of the wall !!!! I called my property management and told them to place us somewhere else because my son has asthma and this wasn't ok for him. As we packed up to be placed somewhere else some lady comes banging on my door looking for her boyfriend! She asks if she can come in to look for him because she knows he's in there! WTH?! I slammed the door in her face and told my son let's go now! Please stay away from this place it isn't safe!!!!

The outside looks brand new the inside look s aged and decrepit. And all my hotel and motel stays this has to be the worst. The shower leaks water all over the bathroom walls healing mirror floor the covers on the bed feel like they're sheets. They advertised a full cooked breakfast, what comes is coffee that's the only thing hot the rest is all bagged & cold. The staff behind the window are the nicest thing about the place the night staff not the morning staff
