(Closed) This place just went out of business. They were decent for quick oil change and tire rotation. There tend to find a lot of mysterious problems that didn't exist. In other words, do not take their word on major repairs, always get a second opinion first. However, their services were fast and they did a fairly good job. I will miss them. I guess it's back to SpeeDees for me.

Can I give negative stars? These people are horrible in the customer service department! I went on a Friday at 5:15pm, when yelp says they close at 6pm...and the two zit faced punk kids working seemed less than thrilled someone was rolling up to get an oil change. Finally someone came out to help me and I asked if they were still open, he said yes. Then the other punk kid/guy comes out to take the trash out and says something under his breathe. I'm sure it had to do with the fact they they were trying to close early on a Friday. His comment made me ask the zit faced kid helping me what time they close and he said they stop taking cars at 4:30pm!!! seriously, you don't close until 6pm!! and I know an oil change doesn't take that long. So, with that I said screw it to him...put the car in reverse and went to Oilstop Drive Thru Oil Change on Saratoga ave and they were AWESOME!! I knew from the second I drove up to Zippy it was going to be a bad experience...and I was right! rude, horrible customer service. don't go here!!! try hiring some decent ppl too.

I've always liked these guys. I was married to an auto mechanic and he used them, so when we split, I continued to use them and now my kids take their cars there. I trust what they tell me about my car. I don't even live close to them any more, but continue to come back. Thanks guys!

Very nice staff. Cost $70 to get my Volvo s40's oil changed. I used a synthetic blend, and needed a $15 oil filter. Days later my dealership sent me a coupon for a $19.95 oil change with filter coupon....I realized I got ripped off after looking at prices online (my mom said it costs her $75 to change her suburban's oil with full synthetic). I am giving three stars because they vacuumed my car, but I will never pay $70 to Zippy Lube again.

I have been taken my cars here for years. The service has always be quick, friendly and the price is no different from any other place even with a coupon. A month ago I sent my daughter there to get her oil changed and tires rotated. She was told the brake needs to be done too. $600 and three hours later, she drove away. She got to my house 2 miles away and started hearing a strange sound. She picked me up and a block later I told her to take it back. On the way back, the tire came off and we lost all but one lug nut to one of the rear tires. We contacted a tow company and I had them take it directly to a dealer. If she would have been on the freeway with her kids, no doubt they would not be breathing today. We contacted Zippy lube the next day and spoke with an employee and the manager. Both were polite, but we were referred to the owner. The owner was awful to deal with and needs customer service training boot camp. My insurance company demanded to be comped, but Zippy Lube's insurance only paid for all the damages. After this service and the dealing with the owner, I will not be recommending the place or going back again. It's not worth $600.

Fast, efficient, and courteous service. Price was as advertised. Glad to find this place in the neighborhood.

First thing- its seems like a lot of the people on here are like me, they don't get anything serviced according to the manufacturers recommendations, we depart at the point at which they turn into automotive engineers and decide the mechanics are just trying to rip them off when they are told they need to take care of their car in order for it to last. I have had three separate vehicles into zippy lube at this point. Each time the work was done quickly and at a fair price. The fact that they work weekends is huge for me as two of the three vehicles are work trucks, so I lose money when they are down. They have also kept me in the loop with everything that is being done to fix my problems I whole heartedly recommend them.

This place no longer does smog checks. They were cordial, but I didn't have any work done here, though.

I've gone here a few times for oil changes on my Lexus and my diesel work van. I also got my 90K service done here without any problems. Very reasonable prices! The dealer wanted $1,100 for a 90K service and Zippy did it for MUCH less. Great work and fast service! Thanks guys!

If I could have given this zero stars, I would have. I have been going to Zippy Lube for the past few years for a basic oil change and when I was in there a month ago, the mechanic told me I needed new rotors, new brake pads, and tires needed to be rotated. $500 later I pick up my car and then drive home while it was squeeky and making a cluncking noise. I picked up my mom so she could hear my car. I had only drove 3 miles away from the zippy lube lot and my tire fell off. Yes the whole tire FELL OFF and I was only driving 5 mph. I had to have my car towed to the dealership and went in the next day to get Zippy's insurance information. The mechanic said he had "a difficult time getting my rims and caps off my car." Well thanks letting me drive off the lot knowing that! Luckly I was only going 5mph and wasn't on the freeway or had kids in my car. For the past month I have been dealing with insurance companies and driving a rental car. I went in to see if I could be compensated for part of what I spent in the shop since I wouldn't be in this situation if my tire were put on properly. I know mistakes happen, but the owner Zenon was so rude and had no concern for whether or not I was okay. I never got a "i'm sorry your tire fell off" or "are you okay?" After this service I reported Zippy to the Bureau of Automotive Repair. I have also talked to a few other mechanics since this incident, and they were shocked at the lack of concern Zenon had for my well-being. Zippy Lube has lost my family's and my business and I won't be speaking positively about this place to anyone else.

Are the people that work here actually people? Every time I have been here I get the same sales pitch. Your break pads are almost worn out, your rotters need to be changed, your filters are blah, blah, blah, blah blah. They are like robots who can only say one thing until a smart person says no I don't. The last time I came here I had literally just had my break pads and rotters changed, and I still got that. Liars anybody? So much for the honest working man. I get that they want money but you shouldn't half to lie in order to get it. I know I don't know a lot about the vehicles on the road but when a simple test like that happens and you fail it dramatically. Come on guys take some responsibility and pride in your work and do it and sell it as it is needed for the CUSTOMER. Customer service is part of your job and when you lie about something as big as that. Well you can kiss my business, my families business and our friends business good by. Shame on you for for taking advantage of people who don't know most of the time what's going on. I'm sure your business will thrive being corporate but this current location on hamilton...good luck if you keep up that kind of bull.

This is very bizarre that this place is ranked with so many stars as my experience must've been an isolated one - although a couple of my friends have also checked it out and mentioned the same thing. Dropped off to get a simple oil change. Next thing I know they are telling me that my car is in need of a $350 service. Really? Every singlel time? I think not. Would love to see a Dateline special where someone goes undercover to see if it is just woman this is happening too. First time I went, shame on them. Second time I went, shame on me. I gave it a whirl twice and both times dissapointed. Never again!!

Ive been going to this place for nearly three years! The service is amazing and the staff are all so friendly. A lot of mechanics try and sell you unnecessary services' or upgrades, these guys are honest and straight forward and tell you ONLY what you REALLY need, no bs!! Their prices are affordable and i never find myself feeling taken advantage of. They are quick and efficient too!! If you want honest, good quality and reasonable wait times, id definitely recommend this place!!

Went there for the first time. Service was good and very fast about 15min for oil change. They explained the charges up front very clearly but I was not happy about a $15 adder to the $35 dollar oil change which put it at $50 for an oil change. This was way too high but I had limited time so I let them do it. They have a $15 adder for the filter on cars which they consider not standard. I have 96 Acura TL. There was also someone with a Volvo who was also hit with the filter adder. I would suggest you call first to see if your car will get hit with the filter adder. If so, bring your own filter or go somewhere else. No oil change is worth $50. But again I knew this up front and was not surprised at the end.

I've had good service at this place for many years. One time they found something wrong and offered to replace a part for free. I just had to go purchase the part at the auto supply store myself.
