Except for the parking situation, my experience was positive. I filled out my forms online to get a Real ID; if you don't, you will have to do it on their computer which will add to the time spent there. I had an appointment and was there for one hour which was not bad. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I've never been extorted like the Almighty DMV dept has! I have two vehicles that weren't running for the past two years. I put a lot of money to get them ready to sell. I did everything to make them legal. The mighty DMV charged me 160% penalty fees and a bunch of additional charges that don't make any sense. They said I owe $1,277 for being two years late! I'm an old man! I got no notices for tags due or the option of non opting. The non opt fee alone is $850 no tags, just relief of paying the registration fee while not driving it. There is something very wrong about how the DMV is fleecing us all! I looked it up, The DMV IS VALUED IN the billions! What other institutions slap a 160% increase in your balance because you were financially unable to register your car! Maybe sick , lost job, whatever! Nothings forgiven and their penalties are off the charts! Times have been tough for a lot of citizens. Covid. terrible economy. A company worth billion's of dollars shows its blatant disregard for their community and consideration for anything but the almighty dollar. It's disgusting.

It's not a great service clerk, so rude, you need to wait for hours. They don't give you the right information. Why the move to small place.

To renew my license, the process started out quick. The long line was when I needed to take the written test. I passed first time I took it, but then you have to get back in the same long line with all the people who failed the test and were in line to do the test again, just to get your temporary license. There should be a separate line for those who passed.Also, I need to say that the two times I called the DMV (I believe their call center might be out of Sacramento), their customer service was above and beyond excellent!

Not clear , they will make you wait in line than say come back in two days because the system has to update. I waited over 3hrs and employees just shrug it off. I saw this happen twice

Very bad experience, a racist lady for not knowing English denied me the license when with a lot of effort I passed the theory and just because I didn't know English she denied me the license when everything was fine and only the fact of not understanding it denied me I want this to be a free country in language, from the beginning I asked for Spanish and the lady because I don't speak English refused me my license, it's not fair to anyone that

They got it all down. Get a ticket and wait with lady telling you what forms you'll need to have.
