"I had an unfortunate experience at Desi Indian Bazaar. The store seems to have a practice of selling expired items, as I've noticed workers updating old products with new date stickers. This is not only unethical but also a health risk to customers. I would advise potential shoppers to be vigilant and check the actual expiration dates on products before purchasing. It's disheartening to see a local business not maintaining the necessary standards for food safety."

Bought coconut milk powder which was totally rancid and very old stock. Even the owner did not know anything about what is it for. Do not waste your money going to this store.

This place purposely cheats on items and price. I have 2 instances of this. The first time they double billed milk. The second time which happened today I asked for 6 onion samosas. He purposely put 3 onion samosa and 3 potato samosa. Please be aware of this place, they purposely cheat and if you don't pay attention they will double bill items too.

I went on that Store last Saturday and I was buying vegetables. The Workers here creepy and vulgar. They were staring the female costumes in the store very badly specially a Mexican Guy working near the Veggies Frezer was staring them very badly. They were saying disgusting and disrespectful things about lady costumers to each other. I will suggest everyone to avoid this place.

I have catered several events big and small from Desi India Bazaar and it’s always been yummy and cost effective compared to others. My guests always raved and asked me where I got the food from and I have been very happy to recommend Pinal and his wife who have gone out of their way to customize their menu. I also believe in supporting local businesses close to Almaden.

The workers here are vulgar and creepy. They were staring at the female customers in the store. They were saying disgusting and disrespectful things about these customers to each other in Hindi assuming people would not understand. I’d avoid this place like the plague.
