I do not recommend this place to anyone, especially if you have a Tesla. I came here blindly thinking it was still what it used to be when it was Pan American, I figured it would resemble the service I received back then; that was my mistake. Here's my experience:1. My wait was longer because I had to wait for another part that they didn't know they needed until 1 month after I dropped my car off (they should've identified this as soon as they diagnosed)2. The communication by my service advisor, Maria was terrible. Every time I called for an update she never called or emailed me back. I had to go in to get an update and would get an attitude from her like it was my fault. Like, I'm sorry for getting crashed into and following up on my car so that I can continue my life.3. Once I received my car back after months of repairs the alignment went bad, only to find out that they didn't replace the damaged subframe even though the insurance advised them to, according to them they didn't need to because they misdiagnosed and said it wasn't needed. Not only that, but they wanted me to pay for the alignment and bolts which I refused since it was their fault until Maria accepted with a response "I'm tired of dealing with this case, I'll just have the shop eat it". So here I was, driving my Model Y with a crooked steering wheel for another month until the subframe arrived. Once it did and I brought it in, I was expecting to get a rental car or uber credits paid for, only to get another response "Oh we used to do that as Pan American but we don't anymore", I had to pay out of pocked for this even though it was their mistake.Customers need to be put first in my opinion, I did not feel this way at all in this business. I will never return, nor will recommend anyone here.

I can not recommend this place to anyone. They rushed my car repairs and refurbished parts, which I was given an estimate indicating would be replaced. There were defects in the paint job on the right fender, and scuff marks from the accident were still visible on the front clip/bumper. When I pointed this out, I got an attitude from the service lady. Messed up because I was called at work by the manager informing me that my car was in fact ready for pick up, so I left work 4 hours early, (I work 74 miles away from thus place), all to see my car was not in fact done. The service lady said I could bring the car back, but I will not let this place touch my car again, nor should you. But hey, if you're looking for a fast job with sub-standard work at maximum cost, this place is for you. If you're looking for quality work by people who take pride in their craft, go elsewhere.

Showed up on time for apointment to get an estimate, estimator said he is busy and cannot give estimate. A front desk clerk gave an of the top of their head verbal estimate, twice the amount of other bodyshop estimates. Attidude dismissive on top of that. Poor business practices.

My Mercedes Benz S550, rear bumper was repaired by Crash Champions this week in South San Jose. It was a very minor scratch (2 inch x 1/8th inch in size) on my rear bumper corner. They repainted left side of my bumper and the color, texture of the color and workmanship was very bad. The color and it's texture ( more shinny/glittering and looks goldish rather than Silver color from rest of the body) is different on the side of the bumper which has been repaired. The clear coat is also yellowish to make the silver color goldish as compared to the rest of the car body color. The color coating on the rear of the bumper where they blend with original color is also very wavy and not smooth (See pictures). I showed it to the body shop advisor on the pickup day and she agreed to get it re-painted as it was very visible and kept my car with them. But the next day she called and refused to repaint it and said that the painter will not re-paint it. I have told them that will not pickup my car until the paint work is done properly and matches exactly like rest of the body. It seems like their painter does not right skills and they even didn't use the genuine paint from Mercedes that they promised at the drop off time.

The workmanship is great. Crash Champions Burke South did a good job restoring my Tesla 3 vehicle after it was damaged. The customer service is polite and attentive.Would have liked the car back sooner, and overall they did a nice job. Thank you.

Shoddy work, zero quality control and LIES!My car was returned to me on Friday, Sept 8 after minor body work to the door and paint on the door and front quarter panel. I immediately noticed that the hood looked open (unlatched). I popped the hood and re-latched it, only the misalignment of the hood on one side remained. It was significantly off (as I said, it was so far off that it looked unlatched!).Brian (the rep handling my car) blamed Tesla “All Teslas have gap problems.” I told him that it was worse than when I brought it in. He said “No, it’s the same.” He brought up pictures they took when I dropped it off and realized that it WAS worse. He drove it back behind the gate and called a couple people over to work on it. After about 15 minutes he brought it back. It was significantly better, but still way out of alignment. Again, he said “that’s how it was when you brought it in.” I argued and he brought up pictures to prove his point, and realized that it STILL was worse than it was before. He said I could bring it back Monday and they would work on it some more. He also said he might need a new hinge.I brought it back Monday, Sept 11 and they improved the gap further. It’s still not perfect, but close enough to the “before” pictures that I guess it’s passable. I then asked what I thought was a simple question: “Do you know what happened that cause the misalignment issue in the first place?”Brian then lied “this is how it has always been.”I asked “don’t you remember how far off it was on Friday and having your guys work on it?”His response “No, we never touched the hood. It matches the ‘before’ pictures and was never any different while it was here.”Needless to say, I went ballistic after hearing him lie to my face like that. Unfortunately, I did not get pictures of the “unlatched” look, but I did get pictures after the initial adjustments and can prove that Friday afternoon the hood was worse than when I brought it in. Monday, they did make additional adjustments and now the hood is at least close enough. But, Brian, in front of his coworkers, denied all of that, sticking to his story of “It's always been the same as the 'before' pictures.”After that, I looked the car over and found a dried drip of paint. Brian said “That’s just in the clear coat,” and tried to dismiss it. I looked at him sideways and he said “I’ll have the guys knock that down.” …I should hope so. He should have caught the paint drip and the hood alignment before telling me the car was ready!…On a previous visit from a different incident, my car was returned to me and I got home to discover that the charge port wouldn’t open! I brought it back the next day and they made some adjustments and got it to open without interference. There were also some trim alignment issues. They went into their stock response of “Tesla gaps this and Tesla gaps that.” I pointed out the one place that was truly misaligned from the factory and asked them to fix the others. They worked on it and I guess it’s ok now,, but these issues also should have been caught before returning the car to me.While I was there Monday morning, it sounded like 3 other customers were back for issues with their cars as well. Seems their lack of quality control is not a fluke.

Repair quality was good. Communication during repair wasn’t great. On last time to get status of my car which was delayed by 2 weeks I was told that my license plate was lost. Now I have to handle this myself

This is not for the car service here. It might be goodBut for the receiption. There is no appointment only sign but she let another one jump in front me and mentioned the waiting time is not guarantee, no estimation at all. If there is said appointment only, it is ok. But how can you put me down when I wait here for 30 mins already?I hit a slope with my Benz convertible. I searched Google found here and stopped by at the first time. Then the front desk keep chatting with other customers and when I wait here for 20mins already and asked she said another men after me had appointment. But there is no sign here said appointment only, and her coworker went to lunch for more than 1:30 hrs.I asked if appoint only? She said 'you can wait here, after him' even though I came ealier. And even not guarante wait time. I said May I talked to the manager or has his name card? She also refused. And the man the receiption laugh at me for no reason. Not sure if they racist. They have no sign here for appt only. Worst body shop receipt I ever met.

I was told to pick up my car on 06/28/2023, since my rep Maria called me and told me the car was completed done. I was there at 4pm and did the quick check. Then I found out that the front light is not working, and one rivet on the front is missing. I told Maria, and she asked me to wait a bit she will ask mechanical to check. I waited till 6pm and the light was still not working. I asked if I can come back after dinner and other front desk lady said no since they are close. So I spent 2and half hours to wait for picking my car and I could not pick up my car eventually since they actually did not fix all parts.Maria offered me to deliver my car to my home on next day, and I agreed with it.Next day, right after the car delivered, I found out one component on rear wheel is off and the rivet is missing from that component. I immediately contacted Maria about this, she said they never told this part so she asked me to contact my insurance company. While I checked the itemized Bill, they did 4 wheel tracking correction which means they did touched this part, and they actually brought 110 rivets to fix the car and still missing one. Moreover, since I did not drive the car to my home, someone from Crash Champions did, I do not know if the damage happened during the trip. (I do not have evidence since I did not check this part yesterday, it based on my guessing.)It was frustrating on 06/28/2023 already since I postponed many things to pick up the car at afternoon, but I did not get my car back as they did not fix it completely. It is even more frustrating on the next day after the car delivered since one part did not fixed.Maria is good to communicate with but all other parts of this experience are the WORST.

To be fair, my first half of the experience with Crash Champions was fairly good. They got my Tesla repaired from a major weather damage, I got my car back in one piece in a fairly reasonable time frame. I could have given them 4-5 stars if my story ends here. But once they got their payment from my insurance, the customer service went quickly down the drain. At the pick up, I was told two small items were missing from my car. I can still drive it safely so I agreed to take the car and wait for them to get those two items repaired/installed later. So I waited and waited. Two months. No good communication after many emails. Empty promise again and again. They lost all the stars I could have given them, and they definitely lose me as a potential loyal customer.

They lost all the stars I could have given them, and they definitely lose me as a potential loyal customer.I probably need to file many complains just to get the repair completed. Very bad experience, definitely my last time using this shop.

My experience with Crash Champions Collision Center was a complete nightmare. Brian, my rep for the service showed indifference, provided poor communication, and lacked accountability. My vehicle was delayed week after week and Brian said its due to Tesla delays. Not once, did Brian ever been proactive to give me a call to update me about any type of status. I would have to call in to get any type of update. I ended up taking it into my own hands and contacted Tesla to see if the parts were actually ordered by the shop. I come to find out that the repair shop did not follow set procedures when there are missing items from ordered parts that were delivered and was pending action from the collision shop to get the rest of the parts delivered after speaking to Tesla representative. If I had not called Tesla about this, who knows when my car would have been out of the shop?? The repairs were subpar and the car was returned to me incomplete, missing the brand emblem, unaligned hood, and had system errors regarding airbag. I spoke with Brian about these errors and we agreed that I would bring in the vehicle when the Tesla emblem has arrived. I bring the vehicle in on the date we agreed on to find our Brian is not in that day and had told no one about my situation and what needed to be done for the car. Avoid this establishment at all costs.

I was a customer of a previous business that Crash Champions has since bought (Pan American Collision). They repaired my Audi's passenger door last summer after someone backed up into our car in a parking lot. Everything was handled perfectly or so I thought. After a few months when I had a passenger in the car, they noticed they couldn't open the door from inside, it would open just fine from outside though. This was something I had failed to check when I picked up the car.I have been calling the new business, Crash Champions, since February, leaving my information with the promise that someone will get back to me to no avail. I even visited this location to try and get a hold of someone but a very rude agent/receptionist was reluctant to even answer my questions or look up my information. I am at a loss on how to get a hold of someone to get traction on their responsibility after they took over Pan American. The irony is Pan American told me that the fixes on my car were guaranteed for life...
