I am a regular customer of Walgreens on Kooser Road in San Jose, California. This particular Saturday, January 20, I was shopping for some cosmetic items. I asked a Walgreens associate where I could find an item I was looking for. They told me to find Van, the woman who works the beauty and cosmetics area. Van happened to be working with another customer. I noticed how courteous and kind she was toward the customer. After she finished with the customer, I asked if she could help me find a particular product. She took me straight to the exact product I was looking for. Van is professional, patient, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the Walgreens store.I appreciate employees like Van who take the time to make my Walgreens experience a pleasant one.

This is a fine Walgreens for Walgreens stuff. I like the drive through pharmacy which saves waiting at the unpredictable inside area with 3 uncomfortable seats. They also have vaccinations which is nice.If you're looking for basic hygiene stuff, also fine.Food and drink options all fall firmly under "junk" - you shouldn't buy stuff to consume here.Parking is always easy because of the good sized lot. Unlike some other ones it also doesn't feel dangerous at night.

Went out and got passport photos taken at Walgreens today. This was a great experience. Carrie was super helpful and personable. Friendly, charming, and easy to work with. She made a routine experience great!

Beyond terrible service from employees. I was treated rudely and as a long time customer I do not appreciate it one bit. The "manager" on staff today thought she'd try to " teach me how to read a price tag" on something they miss marked and laughed in my face thinking she was right as she wasn't she then walked away saying " purchase was finished no help needed" I'll be going to a different store to return as that type of attitude was completely unnecessary from an employee who was wrong.

I know NOBODY at Walgreens is going to read this or give a damn but here goes. Been coming here for years and years. Last Wednesday I stopped in to buy water and some candy for my little girl. Nobody is at the registers as usual. The very nice man in the photo department called for a young man named Dominic. Dominic came up to the register and didn't say a single word. I told him that my name is also Dominic. Nothing. Didn't even look at me. Okaaaay? He rings my stuff up and still has not uttered a single word through his little mask. I put my card in to pay and the machine is not taking it. Now Dominic is not even looking at me. He is facing the exit with his entire body turned away from me. WTF???? "Did it go through?" I ask. Dominic does not utter a sound! Is this a fucken joke? "You don't like to talk or what?" I ask him. Nothing. I laugh and leave the store without my stuff. Once outside I turn right back around and go back in. I grab my bag of stuff that is still on the counter. Funny, I can hear Dominic loud and clear calling for an override, so he DOES have a voice? I head back to the nice dude at photo. "Can an actual human please ring me up?" I ask the man. I go on to ask him "Is that dude special needs or what? What is his problem?" He tells me that Dominic is, in fact special needs. "Why don't you make him wear a button or something?" He says they can't because of privacy. PRIVACY?? Anyone can tell this kid is special needs just by the way he behaves! You're not protecting his privacy you are setting him up to piss people off! What a shitty thing to to do him and customers! Here I am thinking he is just being a dick but apparently he has some kind of special need??? If you employ special needs people who have some kind of phobia of talking to people, why tha HELL is he made to ring people up at the register?? Its is a shitty thing to do to the kid and to customers like me. Again, not that anyone gives a shit.

I went to the store looking for bathroom toilet paper. There was signage for two types of paper- a large package for $9.99 and a smaller one for what appeared to be $4.99. The cashier was not willing to check the prices for me. She said the smaller package was $9.49, not $4.99. She said another customer thought the same as me, but the higher price was correct because she had checked on the bar code. She did not seem sure of the merchandise prices. I pointed that out and she said there were too many items in the store to know all the prices. I left the toilet paper there and went to CVS.

Worst most judgmental pharmacy department EVER!!! The Asian-American woman is evil. She judges. Yes, I've been on strong meds for years due to oh I don't know, five surgeries back to back for a debilitating disease. Now I take suboxone, proudly, as it helps with pain while keeping me on something lighter weight. She is rude about my script. Lies about it not being available when the person on the phone says it's ready. Now she plain won't fill it because it's Telemedicine. Literally hurting my recovery and health. The other Walgreens downtown will though because they're not hell demons. She should NOT be in a health related business. Fire her.

Right next to action urgent care which is very convenient. I am glad that the pharmacy are opened on a Sunday. Unlike the one in blossom hill, this Walgreen pharmacy has no line and I am surprised the tech has my meds will be available in 2 mins.

This is about a brand new issue I have been facing each time I call for a prescription refill: I'm told by the automated system that there are more than 3 callers ahead of me. This status doesn't change if you are on hold for 40-45 mins!!Have they decided that they will no longer answer a phone call!! What is wrong with this pharmacy?? I am seriously considering taking my regular medication business elsewhere.

After purchasing a thermometer and testing it in my car which never left the parking lot I noticed the unit was defective. The sale was tendered not more that 30 minutes ago by the manager Dennis. When I returned and spoke with Dennis showing him the unit was defective. Dennis ripped the package open saying I was the one who ripped it open. After testing the product and verifying it is defective he refused to replace it or return the payment to my credit card that was used to make the purchase.Dennis stated that since the receipt is digital he would only give me store credit. After 30 minutes of not accepting store credit and requesting the refusal in writing we came to an agreement for an even exchange. The business practices of this store is just morally wrong, refusing to replace defective products and having to go back and forth for 30 minutes just replace a defective product.
