Nicole, the pharmacy tech, has no compassion and very bad attitude always. If she hates her job that much she really should stay at home. Very bad encounters with her every time!

this is a very good costco. nice, well laid out, and probably the best parking lot out of all the costcos in the bay area. also, it's new and the area around it is nice.

I prepared myself mentally for a hectic and long mid-morning Christmas Eve shopping experience at the Great Oaks Costco on Raleigh Rd., San Jose. A slew of cars and people were at the warehouse as expected. I was in the Costco puzzle. Amazing! Among us were additional workers. They were there to help, I mean really help. They asked if people were finding things. When approached they were knowledgeable. They directed people in the right direction and weren't off putting. I have no knowledge of wine and knew I would be spending hours with ratings and comparisons. A gentlemen greeted me, asked me a few questions and the next thing I knew I was walking out of the store with a smile on my face. I have a sense their purpose today was to add time to mine and other members day. A welcomed Christmas gift from Costco.Thank you team Costco! Did I mention the short wait at check-out, too?

This review is for the tire center at the great oaks location.I purchased 4 Michelin tires two weeks ago, transaction went smooth and install was fine. Besides them breaking one lug nut but this isn't about that. There was a $40 off promotion at the time for purchasing all 4 that was applied. Unfortunately I had a flat yesterday running over a huge piece of metal and took it to the location this morning for replacement thinking my road hazard warranty would cover it. They ended up telling me I had to pay the difference since I purchased it at a discounted price but told me they would give me credit for what I paid for. I honestly thought this was so wrong since it has only been two weeks and why couldn't they just honor the difference. Nobody wants to make a fuss of a couple of dollars but I can't help but think this was fucked up so I just had to bring it up. The supervisor Bryan ended up explaining it's because I only had one flat and over the phone told me it's basically at Michelin price now..... I'm just gonna leave that there.. I mean did you expect me to have all four flats... anyways I went to get my car and after being told it's in the lots nearby and walking to find it, I ended up going back and it literally was nowhere nearby. Bryan asked the other workers who parked the car and one of them said "Danny did" but nobody could remember where.... Okay.. And they all seemed irritated. And if you know anything about customer service I feel like it was done on purpose. The supervisor Bryan ended up going to find my car and told me it was parked "stupid far since there was no parking nearby", drove it back, and I apologized for the trouble but honestly I just think it's messed up. So this is for anyone who's wondering if the warranty is covered, there's limitations to it even after dropping a whole bunch of money. I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but with this situation and all the loopholes... just don't make no sense. Especially for parking my car super far on-top of it. Anyways thanks for the initial install two weeks ago but they're so wrong for giving me the run around.

I recommend using Costco Pharmacy as a general rule because even though Costco is a "membership store", they cannot (under California law, as I understand it) prevent non-members from using their pharmacy and getting the same pricing benefits that would otherwise only be extended to Costco membership-paying visitors. I even use it for items that are medical related but not necessarily prescription medicine.

This is my local Costco that I go to every two weeks or so for groceries, pharmaceutical items, gas, and a tire air pumping station. It opened in 2016 so it's relatively new. I like how clean it is and they always have what I need. I have to say I've encountered some crazy/aggressive drivers in the parking lot. I distinctly remember trying to back out of the tire air pump area and one man almost hit me at full speed because he couldn't wait for the car in front of him to move. That was a scary incident.Other than that, though, the Costco warehouse has friendly store associates and well-stocked aisles. I will continue to come here.

Our family love going to this Costco location. It's a bit of a drive from where we live (San Jose) and there a few Costcos closer to us but we definitely prefer this one.In my opinion, it's very spacious, they tend to be well stocked and have more newer products in store.Parking is also as spacious and tend to be more available. Another factor is their gas station. Every time we come by, it's not a long wait and there are many stalls available.

So as friends, family and Co-Workers (Yeah Jodi, Chris and Jenn I am talking about you!) ) will attest we have a obsession with Costco. So much so we have a set of Costco Rules we live by (after the review). So to be clear we violated Rule #3 Avoid the weekends like the plague and yep it was super crowded, packed with small kids that were running amok like it was a playground, people losing their minds because the poor lady manning the sample stage had to actually cook whatever it was, and a special shout out to that guy that cut me off not once but twice as he was so anxious to get that sample. It is set up much the way almost every one is setup, electronics by the entrance, the center area is filled with seasonal items, furniture, and clothes, and the rest of the U shape is filled with household items, food, baked goods, then medicines etc.1) NEVER EVER go in hungry. That 25 gallons of dill pickle chips is much easier to resist on a full stomach.... true story there.2) Avoid the free samples. People seem to lose their minds with this stuff. They abandon carts with crying babies, block isles, etc all to get that tiny portion of hummus. I have been shoved aside by someone desperate to get a free piece of cheese. Honestly I have seen more dignity from actual starving people in a disaster zone but I digress.3) Avoid the weekends like the plague.4) See #15) Go often. Costco uses alot of psychology and the fear of missing out is one of them. Odd items you must have pop up then go never to return. I CAN'T MISS OUT AGGGGGGG6) Know your codes: At Costco any price ending in 0.97 means it has been marked down. Any price that is not a 0.99 or .97 such as say 0.49 means it has a manufacturers discount. and price with an * on it means its done and will not be reordered so stock up. If it ends in a .00 or a 0.88 a manager has reduced the price at that location to clear it out.7) When in an unfamiliar city head to the Costco. They always stock local items you can't find at yours (like two pounds of single origin Kona coffee for 30.00 at the Kilaua / Kona store etc.) and have cheap gas.

Problem with my hearing aid. Got sent to the manufacturer and returned to Costco. I came in to pick it up and the problem was unchanged. It got sent out again. When it arrived back at Costco the second time I got a call from Goe to schedule a pick-up appointment. I asked him to have a tech check it before I made the trip in so it wasn't another wasted trip. It took a little convincing, but he finally agreed to do so. 3 days later I came in to pick it up. First thing I asked the tech was if he'd checked it out. He hadn't. Because Goe had never asked him to. I asked Goe why he hadn't done what he'd agreed to do. His response? Well, if they were busy they wouldn't have had the time. My response? You didn't have time for 3 DAYS to spend a couple of minutes to see if the issue was fixed? And then he gave me attitude. BAD, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE BY GOE. Very atypical for Costco. And very disappointing.

Got gas here. It's a very well-organized gas station, the lines move quickly. Prices are the best in town, too.

This costco is probably the best one in all of San Jose. Unlike the Almaden location the staff is very kind and incredibly quick/helpful when you're at the customer service desk. For the MOST part the staff is friendly (we've had some rude team members but it's been rare). Everything you hear about at other Costcos will also usually be here and because of its location it's never overly crowded or hard to find parking. Fun fact: this costco has a free station for tire air pressure

The best place to go grocery shopping. I like seeing if they have my favorite products in bulk, and that they do samples. I love the indoor food court. I wish they would bring french fries back on the Costco food court menu!!
