I have been a City Priority client for a decade and I've never had an experience like I did in the last few months.
I attempted to deposit $1,100 at one of the ATMs at this location back in March and during the process of depositing my money, it got jammed and never completed my transaction. The branch could not do anything and I was advised to open an investigation for provisional credit. I received a credit for the amount however it was debited from me and they only left me $40.
First and foremost, I wouldn't waste gas to go and only deposit $40..
I appealed the determination however they have not been able to give me all my money. CitiBank is stealing money from me and I never thought I would experience something like this with a Bank, an institution we are supposed to trust with our money.
CitiBank has had one of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with and has pushed me to take legal action against them because I haven't gotten anywhere with them.

I just have to give a shout out to Head concierge Erin Hunt. She went above and beyond to assist me with my mothers account during a very stressful time. I was trying to go through Citibank customer service and I have to say it was frustrating at best. I called Erin Hunt at our local branch and she remembered our brief meeting from a couple of weeks ago. She saved the day for me again today! going above and beyond. Typical service. She is a valuable asset to your corporation. 5 stars for Erin Hunt.

I had to go to the Stevens Creek bank because my Regular Branch (Pruneridge) was closed All Week! Supposedly because they are under-staffed. You'd think a BANK would have back-up staff?? When have we gone to a bank and it's closed? I'm sorry, but COVID is an excuse for banks to offer less service and inconvenience their clients! As a "small" business owner we are open and working with Masks, plus we have to plan for Sick employees- you'd think a BIG Bank like Citi would be be able to pay their employees extra to come to work, or use a temp. agency. This is Ridiculous!! A good friend of mind was a Bank Manager and she always had back ups to call on. Well to add insult to frustration, I had to go the Steven's Creek Branch. The supposed Manager, speaks like he's SHOUTING at people! I felt embarrassed for the client he had in front of him. He was "shouting in a loud voice" and stating how much their balance was and other personal information. What about Privacy Regulations? You'd think a BIG Bank like CITI would have to follow the law? Besides why are all their banker desks open to the public, where people can hear the personal conversations of clients? And believe me, I wasn't wanting to hear what they were saying, but I could hear everything as I was standing in line. I stood in line for nearly 15 minutes, as there were only 2 tellers who seemed at a loss as to what they were doing, and kept saying their systems were slow and giving them trouble. Fix your systems Citi Bank! You make a lot off the money we place in our accounts- you can surely afford to upgrade your systems for the tellers. I am seriously thinking of moving banks as I've been with Citi for many years, but their lack of staff and adherence to Privacy laws has me very concerned. Patrons Beware.

Decent but typical bank oriented customer service.... They don't have half the issues Wells Fargo does and the stock reflects that! I trust these folks way more!, it's just too bad I couldn't acquire as safe deposit box if any useful size! Oh well!

Didn't really have any issues with opening an account here. I had an appointment, but the guy wasn't there so the manager took care of me. He was very kind and took the time to explain and went through the process with me. I do think 50 minutes to open an account is quite too long. I'm not sure if all of the information was required by Uncle Sam or Citibank just had a lengthy process, but it's no fault on this branch's part. My favorite part about Citibank checking is that you don't pay a fee if you transfer to another citibank account internationally.

The four monkeys here currently, with no manager present, have spent a half hour trying to figure out how to properly close a CD account. One lady at a window asked me to sit down, away from my grandmother, that I'm actually caregiving for and helping her with her account, because evidently she's not pleased with too many unhappy customers all at a teller window that's not even hers. She'd prefer to let her associates make my grandmother uncomfortable and steal more money from her. Also, we waited at the teller window for an extra 10 minutes because their most senior member was entirely too lazy to stand up and ask us to her cubicle after her teller did not direct us to the next step. We assumed they were making a phone call on our behalf, and were left waiting for nothing. Typical useless employees that have no customer service capabilities. All they know how to do is charge fees and direct you to one of their several phone numbers that will transfer you from branch to branch, ironically transferring back to this very useless bank, and solving absolutely nothing. Disputes will be filed. --- Update: about a week later now, and all accounts have been closed, and checks were given for the balances... except the checks they provided have bounced. Not sure how that happened, it is a check literally from the bank. We were able to go to the other nearest citibank and have the manager take care of the CD with very respectable behavior. Today we also went to collect our items in the security deposit box that were kept at this bank. They told us we did not have a security box at this bank, and despite telling them we did indeed have a box, and we had just visited this box 6 months ago, they still insisted we did not have a box at this location. After lots of arguing, they magically found it! Shocking! I have no clue how this bank is still running. They need new personel, and perhaps a manager.

Worst experience I have ever had at a bank (and I am in my mid 40's.) I went to the Citibank at 3490 Stevens Creek Blvd., San Jose, CA 95117 on 9/23/19 at approximately 12:02PM. I went to the ATM outside first, I attempted to withdraw $800 from the machine and it accepted my request and started to dispense the cash (I could hear the noise it was making.) Then the machine said it was out of service! I went into the bank only to find out others had just experienced the same problem. So my funds were removed from my bank account and I did not have access to my money to pay bills. The first person I spoke tried to immediately pass the buck and tell me to call my bank. I asked to speak to the branch manager and the lady said he was busy. They have a clear divider so I could see the manager sitting at a desk trying to avoid eye contact. I raised my voice and told the lady I must speak to the manager because I do not have any receipt for this failed transaction and there is no phone number on the machine. When the branch manager (Armando Morales - Vice President Branch Manager) finally came on the other side of the divider he basically tried to do the same thing and pass the issue on, he made no effort to try and look into the issue and continued to make excuses without any effort to #1 address my concerns, #2 make an effort to try and help, and #3 he would not acknowledge that there was an issue. I spent my time there telling them I wanted a receipt for my transaction and the branch manager refused. I took pictures and video of the incident with the branch manager. Armando Morales continued to argue and I sat down to try and find a solution, I told him I would not leave without some receipt or my money. Well, I never received it. I got some yellow post it note from him with a number and no explanation (it was 20190923153457XXXXXXX). He told me I needed to call the bank that was it. I was furious and decided to just leave as this supposed manager had no interest in helping me and his willingness to just continue arguing with pointless comments was very annoying. So basically they have an ATM tied to this branch, it takes your money with no recourse and the manager will basically tell rudely you to get lost. I went home feeling this is the worst banking experience I have ever had. After some time I calmed down, still not knowing if I will ever get my money back and I called the bank, some lady answered with a strong accent (of Asian sounding descent), she said the manager was not available, then she said "speak to the manager" three times over and over I said, she said it again. It seemed she did not speak clear english and had some trouble communicating and this was even more frustrating. This branch has incompetent people, faulty equipment and makes no effort at all to try and resolve customer issues. I would recommend avoiding this place, it is the worst bank I have ever visited and Armando Morales and the management at this Citibank will do NOTHING to help you.

The worst bank EVER, they will never pick up the phone, very slow, don't take responsibility to help, they get upset when you put their knowledge to the test, can't fix 1 problem always calling 1800 customer service, lack of professionalism, no WATER , NO COFFEE, NO ENOUGH EMPLOYEES, 40 MINUTES TO GET 1 DOCUMENT that's it... BYE MEDIOCRE BANK EMPLOYEES.... MOVING ON chase , bank of America or elsewhere where they care about their customers... BY THE WAY I'M GOLD MEMBER... NO RESPECT FO ANY ACCOUNT HOLDER.

Called to get more information on whether or not there was a fee for exchanging yen and the girl could not answer me even though the 800 number already told me there is no fee. Just showed up to pick up yen and she struggled to find my order.

Went to exchange JPY to USD Teller said he doesn't know how, so directed me to a nearby branch. It was almost 5 so I asked him to call in and tell the branch to expect me. He said yes. .... Just arrived. It's freakin closed. I really needed to do that exchange. What a f****** waste of time.
