Love this place! Great quality coffee. FYI - they just moved to a new location @ 380 S 1st St (Metro Bldg), so they’re not closed (just not serving coffee yet)!!!

Downtown San Jose's favorite skateshop/coffee bar is open! They moved to a killer new spot a few blocks away in the front of the Metro Building at 380 S. First in the heart of #SOFA

Coffee is actually top notch. I didn’t expect a full-on barista in a skate shop but that’s what you get. I think the brand was Wrecking Ball. Menu looks small but you can order any type of coffee that you want. Iced coffee was super strong and had great flavor. They said it is flash brewed so not quite a cold brew which is my usual but tastes great!

My office is nearby and I've walked passed this skateboard shop countless times. I had no idea they served coffee until today. I ordered the vanilla latte ($6.25) and I highly recommend it. It was smooth and delicious. It is more expensive than my vanilla latte that I usually get from Starbucks (pure convenience), but if money wasn't a factor I would definitely go here. The barista was friendly and told me that the espresso machine they use cost $2,000+! Conveniently located by the light rail station. Street parking and parking lots are also available.

Ordered up a double espresso that was served in a Demi mug with a topo Chico. Besides not having a bottle opener for my topo, this place was on point. The shots were perfectly poured and the grind was a wonderful taste. The perfect spot to grab some new wheels for my board and a cup o Joe.

Coolest coffee shop in SJ. Music is atmospheric, coffee is great, and the people are friendly. A great stop to slow down from the hustle of the city outside. Only oatmilk available for lattes, but its always done well. Tea selection is good and unique.

Awesome stop for caffeine. Especially on a rainy day, when you can't skate outside. :D

Love the atmosphere of this place! It's so cool. Their vanilla latte is super tasty, staff are nice, and they have a great selection of items! Got my skateboard there, and I love it! One of my favorite spots in DTSJ

Visited Circle-A again yesterday morning around 10am and street parking was free bc it was Sunday! Circle-A wasn't busy so I was able to walk up to the coffee bar and order right away. The barista was really fast and my vanilla latte was ready in under 5 mins. I will 100% always recommend the vanilla latte from Circle-A! It's my favorite drink here and order it all the time now. I might try the mocha latte one day if I get the chance. Overall, good vibes! It's a pretty quiet shop and a good study area too. Will be back again soon!

All coffees are made with alternative milk (oat and almond I believe) which was nice for the lactose folks. Came here for a vanilla latte in the afternoon, no wait, and it was good! Inside was cool with all the skateboards displayed. Not much seating but plenty of things/cement blocks to sit outside.

I came here with my son. I just got coffee while my son was checking out their skate boards. The guy who helped my son out was Great! Sorry, I forgot his name. The lady who made my coffee was so nice and friendly. The coffee was too bitter for my taste. We're definitely coming back for sure.
