The elderly Asian gentle man working the counter refused to let me use the restroom after I purchased gas. Huge sign says restrooms. Place is very dirty and ghetto. I will never go there ever again. Expensive gas. You were warned. I prayed for the area on my way out. So sad.

Price gouging. Majority other chevrons gas prices are at $5.55 or $5.70. Overpriced and not worth the visit.

Chevron is now the place where I full my gas tank. My mechanic recommended that I use this gas because it has additives that will help my car run better and it helps clean the motor and it's running and moving parts. SO I took his advice and started filling up here to help my car motor last longer. I have noticed that my motor sounds better and my car runs better too. It HURT my wallet the first time I filled up here. $70.00 is all it took, ouch. The rising cost of gasoline doesn't help either. However I will continue to fill up at any Chevron to preserve the longevity of my Hybrid Honda Accord. It helps that it's conveniently located near my work, so I can fill up at lunch or on my way home. See yoou again Chevron.

My family and I regulars here since 2010. There are two main mechanic: one is slim and one is chubby. Excuse my description. The chubby one gives reasonable pricing and will just get straight to the point. However, the slim mechanic will rip you off and gets easily offended when you negotiate. Also, he has a short temper. Beware of that guy. He ask me $55 for an oil change of 2004 Camry (4 cylinder). I got it for $35 last year. I guess inflation and COVID-19 really skewed the prices up. I will only be giving my business when the chubby mechanic is around. The slim mechanic raises my blood pressure and I don't need that negativity.

You pay premium prices for gas when the station is near a freeway. Chevron at 2290 Alum Rock is no different. On the corner, it's dirty and not well lit. Islands are narrow. While I was there, homeless people were walking around asking customers for money and a ride. If you're not from around here like me, get your gas and leave.

We awoke to a flat tire, & came to this service station. The one thing that they did not do was tires. OK, that's fine. But when we asked for air so that we could safely drive to another tire place, the only word the man would say was "money". That was it! Had I known that the actual law in California was 'you must purchase gas in order to get air', I would have put gas in. But since the only thing he kept saying was "money" and otherwise acted as if we were ghosts, we left, driving on a completely flat tire endangering our rims and our lives. This man/service station does NOT care about people's safety, he cares ONLY about money.

So i usually get my oil changed in this place every 5k miles, thats about every 3-4months. I always bring my own oil and just get the filter from them. I always get charged 10$ for the filter, but today the new mechanic said the price was 15$ and it's the same filter i always get from them.. i asked him why it's 5$ more and he couldn't look me in the eye. So i just paid them and went home and looked for my receipt. Just want to give everyone a heads up on this place.. 5$ isn't much but the fact that they are fooling customers is just a no no. (First receipt is 5k miles ago and the 2nd one is today)

Not an easy station location. The gas stations are "new" but have taken a beating. The gap between the stations is tight. You keep getting approached by beggers also here.
