This is a Review about Saturday Volunteer Food Drive/Food Distribution @ Santa Teresa Parish. I volunteered 9/25/21 for 4 hours. The Food Distribution is from Noon - 2pm. They ARE in urgent need of Volunteers. FYI - It's hard work, by no means a walk in the park, if you're actually there to work. They ask Volunteers to arrive early/ at 10am to Check-In & help set up the Food Distribution tables, but many people show up around 11am/11:15am purposely avoiding the hard work that's actually "required" (setting up/breaking down food distribution stations, un-boxing Produce, Meat, Juice, Milk...re-stocking/re-filling tables & food stations) so the boxes are ready to be loaded into Cars for families. Work/Volunteer distribution doesn't seem to have the uniform/standard --"Please arrive early..to help" rule/request for all. I did my 4 hours..of Volunteer time, emailed the lady in charge 9/30/2021 a "Thanks for your time..won't be returning.." note. She never read/responded to my email. Instead I'm still being sent "We're urgently in need of Volunteers" emails, end of January 2022. Yup, she's never read my email. I called her and left a message...she's never responded to my voicemail either. If you're a High School Student, College Student in need of logging/completing 40+ hours of Volunteer/Community Service time..please look to give your time to other Organizations. I wouldn't recommend volunteering here.

UNRESPONSIVE, UNCARING Emailed them to donate two almost new rollator walkers, cost $500. Did not reply. Tried a second time; same thing, no reply. If you wish to waste your time, energy and emotions, this is where to do it.

I worked there and my picture my be on the wall for working there over ten years. I'm a advocate for social justice. This is the home if social justice for many in the Santa Clara county. Any service tho is like a chain. It's only as good as its weakest link. So sometimes you can have exceptional staff and those that aren't don't last too long. It's hard to be on the side of social justice especially now with the desparity and injustices around the world.I recommend supporting this organization. Volunteer, donate, or apply for work. Any contribution truly can change a life for good. Sometimes possibly even save someones life. Y.E.S. you..

Can't go in but there's an intercom to speak to someone inside the building and they will convey a message to Catholic Charities that you're there and they will help you outside. I accidentally shipped some stuff from Amazon to there and I can't go in to see if I collected ask my packages. I went today and they were closed but should have been open? Their services outside of the office are cool but it's hard to talk to anyone there because they're always out.
