I was able to schedule my appointment quickly, but it took nearly 10 days for my insurance to confirm the estimate due to miscommunication. The status update system seemed great, but it wasn't accurate. They asked me to pick up my car, but it wasn't ready. The service was overall disorganized.
> To make up for a scratch they caused during the repair, they offered home delivery. Unfortunately, when the car arrived, it was in "Service Mode" and both tires on the left side were significantly underinflated.

CARSTAR was really easy to work with.
- appointment the next day
- time estimate for parts was on point
- repairs were completed on time
- repair quality was extremely high
- periodic text messages gave status updates

I have to go back to fix the paint and the hood alignment. It’s the whole front clip of the car. Bumper repair should have been a replacement of the front clip. Can still see damage and artifacts from damage. They put over 80 miles on my car for a calibration they said they did in SF. They said it was a one way trip? After I took my vehicle back I found out there was a roll of tape smashed under the hinge of the hood. That fixed the alignment issue. I left the car there to install an aftermarket spoiler that was damaged in the accident, they didn’t paint it right color and got tons of overspray and the side my Camaro. It was raining te day I picked it up. Also the screw s they used to secure the spoiler were to short and it almost fell off. I had to take it to another shop to have it done right.

Very poor quality control, sub-standard work, new paint damage to the vehicle while at their shop, over all very poor experience. Keep away from this shop. They have not fully connected the sensors. The car does not do auto lane change after their repair. I am now trying to get insurance involved. This shop should not repair Teslas, I am also contacting Tesla to report this, as I am a long time tesla customer and have purchased multiple teslas for my family as well as my many referrals. KEEP AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!

Brought my Tesla into CarStar, a contracted body shop through Geico and authorized Tesla repair shop. The whole process was fairly professional and smooth. I appreciated the thoroughness of the drop off procedure which included comprehensive pictures of the condition of my entire vehicle so that there will be no confusion upon pick up ("was this scratch here before or after the repair?"). Communication through text updates were appreciated. One star taken off since I didn't hear from CarStar until more than 24 hours after drop off. Would have appreciated communication earlier though again, the daily texts were great once they started working on my car. It was also great that my car was done before the estimated timeframe. I had a question about the warranty and didn't feel that the explanation was adequate. But overall a good experience.

I recently had my Tesla repaired at CARSTAR Auto World Collision and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the team was knowledgeable and courteous. The turnaround time was timely and they kept me informed throughout the process. I highly recommend them!

Very professional and thorough. They do many Tesla repairs there and keep you informed every step (Unlike going through Tesla). They also manage your rental car and insurance details. They make the whole process easy. Highly recommended.

This place is amazing! Customer service was wonderful. I appreciate the text updates I get during the process of getting my car repaired (very transparent). The fact that they are paperless (Docusign) was so convenient. My insurance is Geico and since this shop partners with Geico, that made the process EVEN easier. Getting into a fender bender is already a headache, so having a reliable, communicative, transparent body shop handling my repairs was so stress-free. They do all the communications with Geico and Enterprise (I got a rental) so it's a pretty hands-off process. The quality of the job was flawless and the job was completed on time. As far as value, they seem fair.

Took my car to this body shop for front bumper/fog light repair under Geico insurance. Was initially hesitant whether I should use Tesla collision center (also not in Geico network) or not, but decided to still try my luck with this shop after reading some good reviews.
My overall experience was pretty good from day one and for Tesla repair they only use Tesla genuine parts (not aftermarket).
On the day 1, I brought in the car. The friendly staff Johanna and her partner treated us well. They quickly examined the damage and agreed to advance-order parts on day 1. While waiting for the parts to arrive, I can keep driving my car, which is good for us.
After 1wk, they got the part and texted me. On the 2nd day, I dropped off my car and the repair was then efficiently done on the that day and I was able to pick up the car the day after. The repair is done right and as expected.
I did not regret taking my business to them. They did a good job.
