“Good except the $5.00 service fee for one, $7.00 toll is crazy! There needs to be a better way to pay tolls when coming to CA from out of state. To charge almost a 100% on these already outrageous tolls is just robbery.”

“Got in and out no problem no pressure at all just come prepared with all your documents your insurance and your driver's license end your credit card I believe this facility does not accept debit cards best places a commercial rental location be advised however they're pretty quick and very professional you be in and out faster than the regular rental facilities they also have trucks box trucks up to 26 ft if you're looking to move your loved one out or maybe your kids this will do the job”

“What I have experienced from Black Car Rentals is they are always on time with the rentals and their luxury line of cars are extremely comfortable and reliable. Their customer service and support is phenomenal. And most of all they are always willing to help you with getting adjusted to your luxury car if you don’t have the experience. “Very convenient car rental location. You won't need a shuttle reach this place, it's simply across the road when you get out of the airport. Personally, I rent with Avis and with the preferred program, I can just lookup my spot number and just get into the car. No counter waiting time. Returns are easy too (again, no shuttle needed) but it might be confusing to find the return if it's your first time.”
“It was such a wonderful experience of having enterprise truck. The two gentleman’s working there, Jose and Ric went extra mile and helped me to get a truck out of nowhere. They did all this in very last minute request of mine. Thanks team, really appreciate it.”

“I was unsure going here after seeing the reviews. But it looks like it's under new management. Andy is very friendly and helpful, and was able to get me a great truck to rent for the weekend (no way my SUV could fit the things I needed). It sounds like after COVID they had a lot of trouble getting up and running because of a lack of trucks especially - funny enough this is exactly what most people complain about!I'll definitely be back because new management under Andy is great. Most of this stuff comes down to who runs the place and Andy does great. I'm all for supporting local business owners and it's clear Andy's been hard at work trying to fix the reputation here :)I've only ever had trouble renting from Budget (or Avis?) when I try to do something last minute. My recommendation would be to try and book in advance as much as possible - and to be flexible if you're going to book last minute!”

“My review is a little late, but I've rented from this location 5 times now and have never gotten bad service. The cars I've gotten were all cleaned on the inside and drove without any issues. Typically for my rentals, I am traveling from NorCal to SoCal then back to NorCal. The fact that all the rentals I've gotten from this location has not given me any issues, I will be renting from this location more often.Leo was the person who has helped me a lot of times and he was able to answer any and all questions I have about the rental. Pick up and drop off are always easy for me. The mall itself isn't busy, so it makes picking up my rental a lot quicker than other locations. Not only that, extending rentals last minutes was as easy as just modifying my reservation online, no questions asked.I'm also a person who likes comparing prices and based off the few locations in San Jose, I've always gotten better pricing here than compared to the booking at the Airport. Thank you for everything Leo, I will most definitely be coming back to rent more from this location! ^w^”

“Needed a rental car last minute at the San Jose airport. I prepaid on the app when I got to the rental counter everything was very smooth and efficient. The gentleman that helped me was nice and professional whole process took about 15 minutes. The car was beautiful and clean, and in great condition, I even received an upgrade at no cost. Total cost for the rental for 2 1/2 days Was appropriately priced in my opinion. I will use them again .”

“This is my absolute favorite Avis location. I’ve been regularly renting cars here for the last 2 years (sometimes for months at a time) and have received impeccable service every time. Tbh I’m a little surprised to see some of the reviews on here, and don’t quite relate to them. Joel, Kevin, and all the entire staff have always been accommodating of my requests and gone out of their way to get me a car of my liking (there’s always a good selection of new models, I try to find EVs and hybrids). They’re well versed with the Avis policies and are very patient and thorough while answering questions. I make it a point to always use this pickup location every time I rent with Avis!”

“This was easily one of the easiest vehicle checkouts I had in a long time. 1. The staff assisting me with getting a vehicle was friendly. 2. The process was clear. 3. There is no need to take a shuttle, the rental car facility is right across the street from SJC. 4. I was supposed to get a Hyundai Santa Fe, they upgraded me to a Jeep Grand Cherokee. 5. The vehicle was clean, had no damages, and was full on gas. 6. I had a 6:50 AM flight out of SJC, so returning the vehicle at 4:30 AM wasn't a problem either even though no one was there that early. Easy, breezy!”
