I am very upset that they did a terrible job repairing my A7M4. The A7M4's shutter suddenly stopped working one day, and the authorized repair would have taken too long. This place promised me an easy repair, finished in a few days. Therefore, I decided to avoid the hassle of mailing my camera to the authorized Sony repair at Precision Camera. This was a terrible mistake. When I got the camera back, the gyro sensor stopped working. All the photos I took would show up inverted on my MacBook and iPhone. Even all the previous photos I had taken before the repair, stored on the SD card, were showing inverted on the repaired camera.I brought the camera back and they claimed it was a setting problem. However, it is not a setting problem. The gyro sensor is now malfunctioning. I asked them if they could not repair it, could they at least refund the $395. They refused, stating that since the shutter was repaired, it had nothing to do with the gyro sensor issue. This is a truly important camera to me. I would never bring it to any unauthorized sony repair shop in the future.

Asked them to diagnose the viewfinder on an a6400 camera body because the viewfinder had come off the diopter track and was rattling loose. Took them about a week to diagnose then another to fix. I was quoted ~$300 for the replacement part and labor plus the original inspection fee. Paid it and was told part was replaced. Issue was fixed for a few months. Now I'm realizing that the part was probably never replaced as promised since I am running into the exact same issue with the viewfinder again. The camera has not had any rough handling since and the lens rattle is exactly the same as before i got it 'fixed'. Very disappointed about the entire experience

Love it. Got my Nikon D780 fixed. I was about to send it to nikon (and they would have probs tried to sell me a new camera-oh manufacturers..) but carlos gave me a fair quote and there was past proof they fixed a D850 with great success-were talking non turning on cameras. While the parts are uncommon, they were able to source them in a reasonable time period and they repair was great. While not new, everything work great and already used it on a few shoots, couldn't be more happy. The crew revived my camera!By the way the camera literally was dropped really bad by the last owner.

This place was terrible. I took my Go Pro Hero 8 on 4/27 and was told I would hear back in 2/3 business days and never heard back from them until 5/16 when I ! had to call. They wanted to charge me more than that what a new camera would cost me and wouldn’t offer to trade my used one as compensation for a newer one and instead tried to sell me a used camera for the same price as a new one. All I wanted was my go pro hero 8 fixed at a reasonable price and instead offered to sell me a used one.And they don’t open on time.

I would not recommend this place for cleaning your camera and lens. I brought in my camera and lens for cleaning, and unfortunately, the results were not satisfactory. The quality of my photos has noticeably declined since the cleaning, which is quite disappointing. I realized this issue because I regularly shoot at the same location with the same settings, and the pictures taken before the cleaning differ from those taken after the cleaning, and not in a positive way. When I approached the service provider about the problem, I requested them to double-check their work and see if anything was missed during the cleaning process or if any mistakes were made. However, they insisted on charging me again to examine the camera. This response was disheartening because, given the amount of money I spent on the cleaning service, I expected them to stand behind their work and address any potential issues without additional charges.I typically don't write reviews, but considering the significant amount I invested in having my equipment cleaned, I had hoped for a trustworthy service that would provide peace of mind. Unfortunately, based on my personal experience, I do not feel comfortable recommending this place to individuals like myself who own expensive equipment and are seeking a reliable service.

Had my DSLR sensor cleaned there, most spots were removed but still noticed a few spots the day after. Overall a 4/5 rating.

The guy made me feel welcomed to be there. Small shop so I just hope the turn around time isn't to long.

Carlos, the owner is great! He was able to replace the cracked screen which actually made my Sony A7R II inoperable because I had manually switched it from the EVF to the LCD display. He charged a very reasonable $25 to check out the camera and give me an estimate. For an additional $250 he purchased and installed a new screen for me. I'm very, very pleased. It was also a pleasure chatting with him. He's an avid photographer himself. I highly recommend him.

I had a cheap filter get stuck on a very, very expensive lens. I tried several options to get it off. To make matters worse, this happened a few hours before I was due to go do photo shoots at a convention. On a whim, I called this shop and they said they were capable of doing getting the filter off. Desperate, I brought the lens in and they quoted me a price under $40 with a wait time of 30 minutes. Sure enough, they got that filter off in under 30 minutes without any damage to the lens and without breaking the bank. They saved my lens and my weekend.

My Nikon D90 quit while shooting at a wedding reception. I had no clue what was wrong. I spent a day googling possibilities, to maybe learn it had a glitch that needed resetting, and calling camera repair shops closest to me; I live in the Central Valley.I talked to a few shops; one told me there are no longer replacement parts for a D90, another seemed to know less about camera problems than I (after my learning some through google), and another said he sends them into Nikon for repair. I researched Nikon's site and saw that they will take a lot of time and money, which I did not want to spend. Seeing I go to the Bay Area from time to time, I expanded my search for camera repair shops. I then found Carlos' shop. I explained the symptom of trouble to him and he pretty much diagnosed the problem immediately, saying that it sounds like my camera's aperture control unit is bad. I asked him for an estimate, which he gave me, and then learned I could mail it without having to wait until I visited the Bay Area. Before sending my camera to Carlos, I spent considerable time researching my possible aperture control unit problem. Long story short: Carlos fixed my camera and had it back to me for less than $200, to include shipping costs, and all within 2 weeks. I am very happy with Carlos' service.

The top dial of my Canon 5D IV wasn't working properly (it'd turn but not do anything), and I brought it in for service. I got a fair price for timely service, and the replaced dial worked like new. I only wish the store was closer -- it's quite a drive from San Francisco!

The shutter of my Fujifilm camera stopped working several weeks ago. Carlos ordered the parts for me and fixed it immediately after they arrived. The camera is working very well now and I’m so happy that Carlos saved it! Thanks, Carlos!
