So far, so good. Would prefer they drop the no contact rule though. Would really like to actually talk to the vet face to face.

Brought three cats in for boosters and flea treatments- one needed deworming. EXORBITANT rates - 75 bucks each for deworming (abundance of caution for the other two - didn't realize it'd be $75 EACH. ) You can get deworming stuff on line for about 5 bucks. The extremely expensive Bravecto flea treatment was completely ineffective, so I was charged AGAIN for a new oral tablet 130 for 6 months x three so $400. So for basic feline shots rabies boosters for 2 and flea treatments almost 2000 dollars. So if this flea treatment doesn't work (are they expired or something) would they charge me for a THIRD treatment? Maybe they should give me effective meds? It seems they are keeping the lobby closed not for Covid protocol but so they can easily anonymously overcharge? The rates are just insanely high in my opinion. This type of stuff will send people online, to shot clinics, or elsewhere.

Sadly, will never return. We had a horrible experience and our dog had to be put down due to this pet hospital's poor care. My dog had a chronic cough and we ended up in a pet ER and given antibiotics. Cough went away-then it came back and the ER suggested we go to our current vet-Camden pet hospital. We did get an evaluation and they suggested more antibiotics and we dutifully gave my dog her medicine. After a few weeks the cough started again and we took her to Camden pet hospital again. They gave us cough medicine and said everything is fine. This happened for a few visits-then she started declining in health-wetting her bed and not wanting to go on walks so I took her for yet another appointment. The vet on staff said she is just having symptoms of old age and gave me medicine for her bladder-I asked about the cough and they said they will give us more cough medicine. I should have pushed harder as she has had a cough for 4 months and they keep giving us cough suppressant instead of identifying the problem, BUT I trusted them. 6 days after her last visit with Camden Pet hospital (and after their vet saying my dog is fine + spending a lot of $$ for an ultrasound and meds) we were in the pet ER again as her cough was so bad she could hardly breath- the ER vet was very concerned about her and took an x-ray + ran several tests: my dog had severe pneumonia, hear failure AND a tumor!!! It was so sad to see my dog in so much pain and the ER vet asked about her chronic cough and why did Camden pet hospital give her cough suppressants instead of taking an x-ray? Per the ER vet, if Camden pet hospital had taken an x-ray when my dogs coughing had started we may have been able to catch the pneumonia and treated it correctly. My dog was very old and I understand that we may not have had success, but her condition at the ER vet was so sad. My husband and I had to let my dog go and end her pain as the fluid in her lungs and heart failure was such a poor prognosis she would not be able to make it. This experience was extremely traumatic. I trusted Camden Pet Hospital, took my dog to multiple appointments, thought I was giving her the best care and she SUFFERED with a cough for 4 months. I still have not gotten a new dog out of fear that I will take her to a veterinarian that is not comprehensive and they too may suffer. I feel guilt that I did not get a second opinion as I trusted this office too much..I could go on and on but seriously have trust issues w/ veterinarians now.

Caution: THEY HURT MY CAT. Last yr my cat had some ear infections and they didn't tell me hearing loss was a potential side effect from the medication. My cat is nearly deaf now and meowing very loudly, so I brought him in to see if maybe something could help restore his hearing. They wanted to do blood work again ($400+) and then said everything was normal he's just old (yet suggested a further $600 heart ultrasound) and said they could rinse his ears for minor debris - I asked if this could harm his ear drum and they said absolutely not, so I said ok to clean his ears. For more than a week now my poor cat has been holding his ears low, shaking his head and can't bear to have his ears touched, only just now healing (I hope) 10 days later. Camden PH is still only allowing curb side so I couldn't hold my cat or speak to the vet in person - I think the quality of care has gone way down, you hand over your pet from the car and who knows what they're doing. I'm taking my cat elsewhere, really upset w the treatment my cat received.

Been taking my dogs here for about ten years. In that time, they have had yearly check ups, one has needed surgery, both have had their teeth cleaned, and I have made the occasional emergency call. I am very confident in care and advice provided by Dr Hoge. I believe he has the experience to know when to act and when to wait. In terms of the office staff, I have emailed them and they have always provided a timely response. Many pet owners talk about the price of teeth cleaning. I appreciate the detailed estimate I received. There were no surprises. In the early years, I was able to get same day appointments for the unexpected but like others have noted I find they need to refer to other facilities. I don't know whether this still the case, but they did seem to have new vets, come through over the years and I found them hit or miss. A hit might be the vet who came into meet the dogs and pet them first, spent a lot of time answering questions. Clearly an animal lover. The miss would be the vet who advised us to see the eye specialist for an unresolved tear. We were fortunate to get a next day appointment, but the ophthalmologist could not see a tear and said everything looked healed. Happy for the results, but that was a few hundred dollars and when asked if it seemed likely it would heal in less than 24 hours the response was a laugh and something non-committal. Their Covid protocol is to pick up the animals from the parking lot with the vet calling for a summary. It's a very smooth process. When I have had questions for the doctor for an upcoming appointment they clearly always pass it along. I would recommend Dr.Hoge but can't speak for the other veterinarians. I have not had enough consistent interaction.

$85 for an exam fee just a walk in the door! Wow! So disappointed the girl on the phone so uncaring. What is going on with these crazy prices just to have your dog looked at. Less than two years ago was $35 to come in. Even if I would've gotten an apology for sorry the prices of gone up. Blah blah blah whatever I would've felt a little better.

We brought our dog in for evaluation of a growth on his leg. The vet took a sample of tissue and looked at the cells under a microscope. They said that he needed urgent surgery or he could lose the use of his leg. A 2nd opinion encouraged us to have a pathologist look at the tissue, which showed a benign histiocytoma that was guaranteed to resolve spontaneously without any intervention (which it has.) We almost spent $2,000 and caused our pup severe pain for nothing. This was either caused by inexperience or that the vet is compensated on production. At least the vet could have recommended that the sample be reviewed by a pathologist before suggesting surgery and "possible dew claw amputation. "

This business allows its parking lot to be unsecured and attract more traffic and criminal elements to my neighborhood

My family has been going to this pet hospital for years (over 20 to be exact) and they have seen multiple pets of ours. The pet hospital has gotten worse and worse throughout the last 5 years. They can't remember the sex of an elderly dog that was seen there it's entire life, they push for early shots when they are not yet due (costing you more in the long run) and overall have not been very accommodating. We'll be finding a new vet.

We have been clients of Camden Pet Hosp for the last 15 years. They have cared for many dogs and cats that have been a part of our family over the years. Dr Hoge and his staff go above and beyond! When our cocker spaniel had some serious health issues over an extended period of time, Dr Hoge was in regular contact with us, even checking in on the weekends to see how he was doing...... Something no other vet has ever done for us. In addition, each & every vet tech on his staff is always so kind and amazing! We are very grateful to know that our fur babies are in such good hands & so well cared for :)

I like Camden Pet hospital due to high quality vets. All doctors seem very knowledgeable and also supportive. We've been going here for 6-7 years now. Our dog recently needed care with multiple follow up appointments (pain issues with pinched nerve). Dr. Zeh was great! Not only she offered great treatment, thinking outside the box, but also spent a long time with us on the phone (since we can not enter the clinic with the dog, the vet communicates by phone while we wait in the parking lot). We needed to address multiple issues. She was very patient, answered all our questions. This was much appreciated. Staff also is friendly. My only issue with the place is that it is very difficult to get an appointment, so some of the care was delayed and we ended up in ER before our dog could be seen for a visit at Camden Pet Hosp. But I guess it's similar in most other vet offices now. I can't fault them to much if they don't have enough staff. Overall, great vet care! Thank you.
