“I really love Acura Honda Connection - my partner & I used to take our old blue Honda Fit here. These guys are knowledgeable, kind, honest, and friendly - and if you're clueless about cars like me, they'll give you solid advice so you don't get over-charged. And they're so professional, they educate you without talking down to you or making you feel stupid. They even provided a loaner car for us when they worked on our bumper last year!

The only thing is... I'm very sad they don't do body work anymore!!! I took my Civic today for help on my front bumper spoiler lip, and was devastated to hear the news that they've transitioned out of that line of work in the last couple months to focus solely on auto repair/tune ups/maintenance/brakes/muffler/exhaust stuff like that. I completely understand why - working with insurance companies and parts acquisition and limited space in the shop can create an unruly beast for the owners to wrestle with. I respect that - the owners should do what's best for the shop and the team after all.

I also appreciate the guys taking time to chat with me and assess my issue anyway to give me some advice on what to do next. Like I said, the team here always does their best to equip you with knowledge to get your car in tip-top shape. Joey pointed me to a guy he trusts to do good work, levelled with me about price, and then before I left he even got on the ground and cut off the lingering, shredded remnants of my spoiler-lip so it stopped scraping against my wheels and getting caught in the wheel well. That small act enables me to actually drive my car around for a day while I find a new body shop! He didn't need to do that, but he did out of the kindness of his heart, and that's the kind of thoughtfulness I'm looking for in an auto shop - people who give you peace of mind and get you to keep moving through a stressful situation.

How could I ever find that level of trust and attention to detail in another shop!? Anyway, thanks for all the great advice and work the past couple years, guys.

“My new Tesla Model Y has a 4 inch scratch on the side door, due to my lousy parking skill. I was given an estimate at another Tesla certified body shop. The amount quoted was too high and made me reluctantly decided to live with the scratch, until a great friend of mine recommended Xcel Collision Center. “Mike took special care of me, he was super communicative during the estimate process telling me how much it would cost and how long.

During the fix he kept me up to date. The badges were on back order but Mike took extra care reaching out to me letting me know when they came in and quickly installing them when I was available.

The office is especially nice, clean, cold and they have plenty of free drinks and goodies while you wait.

“I highly recommend SJ Customs. John the owner installed a Dakota digital dash in my 86 El Camino and it works perfectly. He even got the fuel gauge working without having to replace the sending unit which would've required him to drop the tank, so that really saved me $$. Next he removed all the surface rust from the undercarriage, and then painted it. It looks better than new. He also noticed that my front brakes were missing the wheel bearing dust caps, so he had some on hand, and installed them. Thank you for everything John! I will be back soon.”

“A wonderful office located in Almaden Valley. This is a satellite office they actually don't do the repairs at this facility they have a big autobody repair facility in Santa Clara on Reed St. where repairs are performed. But the Almaden office can do estimates and drop offs for repairs can be done there. They coordinate getting the vehicle to the repair shop and back when the repairs are completed. Dan was the individual that I worked with. Great communicator and work was performed professionally and in a timely manner.Quality all the way!”

“I got hit from behind, pushing my truck into the car infront of me. The guy who smashed into me had USAA. The damage wasn't too bad but USAA said the radiator, AC, and a bunch of other parts which were perfectly fine all needed to be replaced and wanted to total the truck for a ridiculously low amount. Hector at Auzerais Collision did a great job at fixing what was needed and bringing the truck back to near perfect condition. “I give them !!! I know nothing about cars except I drive one. So I am at the mercy of mechanic or repair shop. The folks at this business repaired my separating right front bumper by ordering a bracket that broke when I bumped into a cement parking space stopper. They could have told me it was a much more expensive repair and I would have no idea that wasn't the case. It's nice to know there are honest repair shops around and I highly receommend this shop.
