I enjoy big lots because there's a variety items and the prices are pretty good. However, I went yesterday and didnt realize at first that a young caucasian staff was magically in every isle I was in after shopping for about 30 minutes...seems as though she was following me around the store. I did not appreciate that all. Talk to your staff Big Lots....

During Black Friday, I was going out shopping, and I stumbled into Big Lots (Hillsdale, San Jose). I have found nothing so far. I left. Saturday, I was watching a YouTube video about a new product that had already launched at Big Lots. I rushed over to Big Lots, asked the cashier where they were, they told me that they would either be in the Toys section, OR over at the Holiday section near the double doors. So when I asked for directions to them, they led me to them. Finally, I spotted them: MEGO's 50th Anniversary WGSH "Variant" figures. They were priced at $19.99 per figure. At first, I was skeptical, but I thought about it, and I bought the 2 Superman's. When they rung them up, it showed a discount of $10 off any purchase of $40 or more. Sunday morning, I decided to go back and get the rest of the MEGO's (Batman, Robin & Joker). When I checked to see if they still had them, they did. 2 Batman's, 1 Robin & 1 Joker. So I grabbed them before they were sold out. I was SOO happy that this Big Lots location had what I was hunting around for. The only gripes I have with this Big Lots location is: #1: The aisles were pretty crammed to the point where nobody can enter. Some aisles had unopened boxes just stacked on top of each other. The associates would not budge with those. I could not even get around the back side of the store because the boxes were blocking some of the walkways. #2: The Restrooms were not open for Men, but Women's restrooms were unlocked?! Who the literal Fuck operates this joint?! If I have to go do number 1 or 2, how can I if the Men's restroom is locked?! Is this Big Lots location following the same policy where public restrooms are closed, but open solely for employees and associates?! This isn't 2020, the pandemic is officially behind us. OPEN THE FUCKING RESTROOMS!!! Honestly, I would NOT recommend Big Lots to anyone, just because Big Lots has been on a downturn since 2010. P.S., Back in 2022, I used to buy ped socks from these guys. But, since October 2022, they stopped selling those colorful, vibrant PEDS Legwear brand ped socks (Purple, Pink, Baby Blue) 3-pack.

It's pretty obnoxious when half of the boxes I want to buy dont have any lids. This has been an issue for years.

Expensive, Messy and Noisy music. This is not a discounted store and it's very chaotic. I will not return to this store.

Delivery access is off of Donna Ln. Everyone was friendly as hell and they let me go shop after delivering here. If you're coming in a semi don't go east on Donna like I did or it's a really tight turn, other than that easy in & out.

Ok so big lotts by my house used to be a disaster ?. So much work to get down an isle blocked with boxes of freight. Long lines no tags, dirty ... so I stopped shopping. That being said it's by my house and I needed some cleaning supplies for cheap so here I was ?♀️. Big improvement! Still struggling with tags but I can actually shop and checkout was under 10 minutes! I actually found this beautiful pumpkin and I'm in love❤️. Very impressed.

Big lots have been a fave of mine back in southern California when they were named Pic N Save many decades ago. A go to place for things at a discount. Turning into a place for furniture. They have food, clothing and household supplies. Show a valid military ID for 10% off. Also join their club on line for extra deals.

I loved this store. But I barely shop in it, I can only go in and out fast since there is no AC. And in the winter no heat
