Without a doubt, this is the most well-run and efficient pharmacy I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Courteous, knowledgeable and kind-hearted. The "regular" retail pharmacies could learn a lot from these folks. You truly feel cared for by these lovely people. Most of us want and need help from our pharmacist (mostly because we can't get through to a doctor most of the time), however we are often "let down" by pharmacists at the "usual" locations (not mentioning names). Better Health lives up to their name and I'm extremely GRATEFUL for them.

Needing more COVID Home Test Kits, I drove to downtown San Jose where I could request 2 boxes of two tests each of home test kits (2 boxes per person) AND N95 masks (3 per person) for the low, low price of FREE! How do they do it? Here's their information: We are the first and only dedicated drug donation pharmacy in California. We received unused, unopened, and unexpired medications from licensed healthcare facilities, and dispense the drugs at no cost to our patients who have a valid prescription. Our pharmacy aims to increase medication access for all and serves patients who cannot afford their medications.

I didn't know public health system is this demange. seriousely, there is only one phone number for the whole COUNTY to call for scheduling an appointment for covid testing. I called and wait for 2 hours and no luck. tried for 2 days still on hold.

What a godsend this place is. I have been lucky and have not needed a lot of meds, but am having to take more now. One case - a while back - required 90 days of a drug that even with the generic and a discount was still over $100. I went home in tears, but then heard about Better Health Pharmacy from a friend.

One case - a while back - required 90 days of a drug that even with the generic and a discount was still over $100. I went home in tears, but then heard about Better Health Pharmacy from a friend. It is true about not always having what you need - either the drug itself or the full amount, as they are dependent on donations from hospitals, companies, etc. - but they will fill what they have and notify you for the rest when more items come in. Will even mail refills. IAll you need is ID - living in Santa Clara County - and a prescription from our doctor. Wonderful, helpful people at the site as well. If I could give them 6 stars I would.

Better Health Pharmacy is wonderful! I got my flu shot for free here. It's clean, organized, the people are friendly and kind, and everything is free! When I went there was no line (though I did get my flu shot late in the season). Wonderful execution of a great idea.
