4 stars because they didn’t have a lot of quartzite selection for us to choose from but great customer service. We work with Susan Guo and she goes above and beyond to help us get what we need. I will come back.

Purchased 2 slabs back in august 2022. We made it clear to the sales person our project was delayed and we didn't know when the project would start. They assured us it was no problem and they had the slabs in stock and there would be no storage fee. Fast forward 2 weeks ago, our contractor went to pick up the slabs and they couldn't find one of them. This was on a Saturday and they said they would try to figure out what happened on Monday. Monday came around and I heard nothing from them so I had to call them five times Monday afternoon to get any sort of answer. Basically they didn't know what happened to the second slab because it had been so long. Kimberly offered me a refund which I figured was for both slabs, since we now need to figure out where to get countertops. She failed at sending me an email confirmation and once again I had to call about five times to get any sort of confirmation. I then learned they were only going to refund me for one of the slabs. When I came in in person, they showed me a store policy I've never seen before saying they weren't responsible after 90 days to give me anything. Apparently, the owner was angry that I was offered a refund for the slab they lost. They delayed my job I lost almost $2000 and They don't want to take responsibility for it at all. Every single person I dealt with at this company was completely unprofessional. And if you go ahead and try to call the warehouse no one will ever pick up and if you leave a message, they will not call you back.

They quoted higher price initially but the sales rep was able to price match. I went with them because it’s a local store from where my contractor can pick up the tiles when required. The sales rep told me the tile would be available in a week, but forgot to place the order even after I had paid in full. Now it’s been a month and I still don’t have the tile. No one has been following up, every time I call to check the status they put me on hold for 20 mins. Frustrating experience.

Pricing is not displayed in the store. That makes it very difficult to browse and shop. When I asked the salesperson for the exact pricing for 4 different tiles, she took some time to get it from the computer and was very very unwilling to help me. She looked sullen. When I finally got the pricing, I realized that the prices are 2-3x more expensive than other stores like Lowes or Floor and Deco. It didn't make sense at all. Seems like pricing here is highly inflated. The free design service is also inferior compared to the service offered at Floor and Deco. At Floor and Deco, they even did a 3D visualization for me, but not a BayStone. I like the countertop design sold at Baystone, but nobody could give me the exact price. Very frustrating to shop here. Prices fluctuates and inflated.

I am now a Bay Stone customer for LIFE!! My contractor Moshiko from Golden View Renovation (another awesome resource) recommended I buy my tile at Bay Stone.Wow, did Brenda take care of me!! She made recommendations that I would have never considered and I left feeling excited NOT stressed about my bathroom remodel.Then, I strolled over to Bay Homes (In the same building so convenient!!!) and I was equally taken care of by Mehmet and the AWESOME manger Magit!!They helped me choose my fixtures and when the drain I picked did not pass inspections. I immediately went to Margit for help and he solved the problem!!!Thank You Bay Stone ??

I've toured many natural stone and floor tile stores in the bay area and Bay Stone Depot, by far, has the largest selection of materials, and a staff that understands how to present complimentary styles, designs, colors and dimensions to personalize a customer's home. Well worth the visit.

Kimberly and Heidi @ Bay Stone a depot were recommended to us by our contractor. (Om's." Remodeling. Amazing folks ask for Yuval "Yuvi". !!) our contractor indulged our bargain hunting variety wanting ways and he went with us to any and every stone slab vendor we wanted. We would get treated anywhere from sleazy slimy sales reps creeping on us to being straight up ignored. (What?! A guy can't wear mandals, cargo shorts and a Pantera shirt and possibly have the $ to remodel his home?! Sure I might be a cliche old metal head with dad bod but we've saved for 20 plus years for this!) We were ready to buy and were literally ignored for HOURS by some so called "showrooms". After experiences like the above. And after expressing frustration at how these businesses were treating us (or not treating us ) Yuvi told us to meet him at Bay Stone Depot on a Saturday. I think it's important now to point out. We live FAR from Bay Stone Depot. Our home remodel is FAR from Bay Stone Depot. But our trust in Yuvi led us to wake up on a Saturday and cruise the 101. We wanted an EPIC KITCHEN ISLAND. I'm talking sacrifice a bull on the alter of the kitchen gods type island. 4.5 ft by 10.5ft with waterfall edges. We had only an idea of the size we wanted and we knew that we wanted man made quartz jumbo slabs. At Bay Stone Depot we were helped by Heidi who was super kind and patient and accommodating. (As was her warehouse foreman who's name I failed to get. Dude was willing to skip his break and show us literally TONS of slabs. Piece by piece. Moving them and arranging them so we could see. I didn't get his name. But he was a true dude who smiled and helped. ) Heidi patiently checked prices, sizes , availabilities and answered our many many questions graciously and concisely. After hours of hemming and hawing. Heidi gave us sample chips of the stones we liked and suggested that we head home and sleep on it. We did. We also knew immediately that Bay Stone Depot was our choice. We just needed to decide WHAT we wanted to buy from them. We decided on what to buy. 3 jumbo slabs of Cambria Quartz and one Jumbo Slab of Cesar Stone. Here is where I need to say something. We'd been to many different show rooms. They all had similar stuff. From the HOLY CRAP THATS COOL! To the WHOA!! Rockefeller status !! To the UNGH. THAT'S HIDEOUS! They all had similar prices. Except the places that ignored us and didn't even quote us prices. I'm guessing those places are exorbitant but I have no way to know. What none of the other places had that Bay Stone Depot did have. Was Heidi and Kimberly. Also. Bay Stone Depot was the only place my trusted contractor Yuvi recommended. So. Since I don't do business with businesses. I do business with PEOPLE. I chose the people at Bay Stone Depot. The price was beyond fair and their service , attitude, showroom , staff, facilities. All are beyond compare to their so called "Competition". If you want to get your ego stroked and brag about how much you paid and how awful it was remodeling your home. Don't go to Bay Stone Depot. But if you're hard working and want your dream home to be JUST RIGHT and you don't want to take off your favorite tee shirt just to get acknowledged. Go see the fine people at Bay Stone Depot. Tell them a metal head sent you !! It was truly a pleasure. Kimberly and Heidi. We thanked you when we paid. You two will forever be a part of our epic bad a** island ! Many thanks !!
