So disappointed with their services. The customer service rep told me that I have to upgrade my bank account in order to use my debit card. A new debit card was issued to me at this bank and the customer service rep helped me with my check deposit using that new debit card. In fact, she opened another new saving account for me and transferred all my saving to that new account without letting me know. Also, she took my previous debit card. I wonder if this is a fraud? How could a bank closes the account owner's saving account and transfers all the money in that saving account to a new a account without letting the account owner knows? After this incident, I called Bank of America, none of the customer service rep can help me. No one can really tell me where my saving is being transferred and where my check is deposited. The only thing they told me is "WAIT".

I've been using this location for at least 10-15 years but I wish I had a better choice. Do select a different BofA location as this corner does not have the customer access . There are a handful of parking spots under building but they all seem to be taken even when the bank is empty. I'm never comfortable using the outdoor ATMs with all the homeless nearby. National call center support is friendly but be prepared to wait even if you are a "preferred" customer . I think I waited 40 minutes and did not get any assistance today. Counter and Desk Loan Staff is always quite friendly. Good luck getting into your safe deposit box during Covid as it's a two day wait just to get someone to call you to make an appointment.

3 stars because theyre my bank, but minus 2 for how they staff. Is it just me or do majority of bank of america locations have a random greeter and a manager behind the desk who just stare at you and never help? I always seem to go when they employ 1-2 people to actually work as tellers and always 5-10 people in line. I could care less what you come to the bank for but at least make the other statf and management versatile. When you come in on a saturday and they have someone sitting behind new accounts and mortgage without anyone there why cant they go be a teller? The dublin, ca, san leandro, ca and oakland, ca locations are the same as the san jose locations. Its like bank of america pays for staff but never anyone to be a teller. I keep the account because ive been with them 10 years and travel a lot so their multiple locations are convenient but doesnt make sense why 3-4 tellers cant be employed at once during opening and closing hours. Its guaranteed if you show up during the week when they open they are busy, when you come an hour before closing they are busy, saturday they are packed!

This is the worse Bank of America branch is all over Santa Clara county. Don't waste your time to come here. All the Employees always refer me to go to a different branch to get some assistance. Sucks because they give Bank of America Bank overs a bad reputation. Bank of America is actually a good bank but this branch sucks

Absolutely ridiculous. Spent 30 mins calling over and over again. When the ASSISTANT MANAGER picks up, she refuses to give me any information about the notary. She repeatedly said that she couldn't help me and hung up the phone. I will be closing my account with BoA after so many instances of terrible/rude service.

I am standing in line right now along with 15 other people. Shocking that a branch in the middle of downtown San Jose has 1 teller for lunchtime. BRANCH FAIL. The assistant manager only said she cant help with the line because "someone always has to be on the floor". Apparently managers at BofA dont need critical thinking skills

A little too nosy about prying into your personal life. Came in here to cash a check and they were persistent on asking why I dont want to open a bank. It's a personal reason and they have no reason to need to know as they tell their other staff members about it and only to have them ask me more questions as I wait for them to cash my check. They keep putting me on the spot and it was honestly embarrassing. If I say no, it means no. Leave it at that.

Every single time I come into this bank for help, they always deliver great service. I figured I can write a review because I'm very satisfied with today's help from, I think "truong" not too sure because I was in a rush to class. I had two over draft fee that he helped me resolve in ways that the two people I called BoA could not. He is the relations manager, now that i recall it. He helped me quickly and with pleasure while the two guys I called was completely rude and left me in the dark. I was actually thinking of switching banks because of the two guys I called that did not help me one bit, but after this I figured I'll stick with BoA a while longer. Thank you. Oh yea, the front staff at the desks are always helpful as well.

This is my local bank close to home and school for me ever since I had to move to SJ. For some damn odd reason every time I go know I am helped by the new teller. I understand she is training or somewhat, yet U find it disrespectful for her to be asking me what I work for, what do I do, like if she wants to interrogate me. All she has tow is deposit or cash out the checks I give her. There are other forms and ways to try to communicate with someone, but not asking what we do for a living. She really needs to stop because some day people might not be in the mood and put her in her place. P.S. her name is Genesis Vargas.

B of A's most recent online "upgrade" sucks! I've been a customer for decades. Stock holder too. Most recent "upgrade" of their online banking is a mess. The previous version worked just fine. This latest one is slow (very fat) and definitely not intuitive. A waste of time and money... a reflection of their recent horrible stock performance. Just an FYI.

Update: Came in to do a straight deposit. Wait time was better, but service sucks. Girl teller at the end doesn't even smile, looks pissed off. I didn't get helped by her. I got helped by the teller, Billy. Transaction was okay. One thing he should have avoided was looking down at his phone, which was obvious to me because he touched his phone down there. If you going to use your phone on the teller line, you should at least be more discreet. I only come to this branch since it's close to me. Branch manager must suck here if she doesn't seem to pick up on the poor customer service. This place has the worst sense of urgency. when I observe while waiting in line, I know management doesn't know how to manage this branch. While waiting I see one teller on the line and she's accepting rolled coins from a man who ended up being a non customer so the teller didn't even asked if he had an account before dropping his coins on the counter. Newbie 101, ask if that person banks with you before wasting over 5 minutes counting his rolled coins. It's MONDAY, a peak day. I understand that you want to move people towards other channels like mobile, atm, and online banking, but I was making a check deposit for someone else. I hope to get a survey so I can rate this branch below a 9 because I know it will impact their score.

This place is close to my home and faster than the one in Santa Clara near central expressway near 101. I wish they have ATM machines inside as well.

Literally I have been here many times and have been given the slowest service ever. Mind as well be like a DMV just to get a temporary debit card and to order one. Don't go here unless you wanna experience slow service
