The staff were all very helpful and efficient. They were patient and helpful - it was our first time bringing in feral kittens for TNR. Everything was timely and went smoothly.

This place is by far the absolute worst and should be shut down! Aside from deliberately removing honest negative reviews, they carelessly mix up your pets gender on the paperwork which makes me question if they even performed the correct spayed/neutered surgery and most of all VERY RUDE DR. who cusses and mistreats his staff and customers. Now think about how he must be treating your beloved pet that is family to you?

Thank you to the animal medical center staff and Dr.grewal. My three-year-old German Shepherd had really bad allergies and a rash on his belly. I’ve tried everything you could think of. His other vet said to switch his food, and that still didn’t help. Dr. Grewal explained to me how fleas play a big role as to why Jax’s skin was getting like this. I quickly switched him over to a different flea medication and got him on antibiotics. He is now doing so much better especially his skin!big bonus is that the front receptionist are very accommodating and they have such reasonable prices. I got him neutered there as well. It’s not easy finding a clinic that won’t charge you an arm and a leg. I finally found a vet that genuinely cares for the well being of my pup. THANK YOU ANIMAL MEDICAL CENTER!

I was looking for a place to have our kitten neutered, but vet prices are very high right now. Someone recommended Animal Medical Center and they were great! $150 less than our regular vet and they didn't tack on exam and office fees. They work with rescue groups, so they know how great the need for neutering services is. I was able to get an appointment on a Saturday, which was great. The staff and vets are friendly and caring. They did a wonderful job on our Buster and he was fully recovered from the procedure by late afternoon. Kind of a long way for us to make them our regular vet, but if you live near Bascom and Camden in South San Jose and you have pets, they are a great choice!

Never ever ever go here. The doctor doesn't care about your animal. Doesn't. Care. I took my boy here and he had to be muzzled but that shouldn't matter. It shouldn't matter if your dog has a muzzle or not, they should all be able to obtain the same treatment. The doctor seemed very "over it" when examining my dog, sighing, rubbing his eyes, chuckling when I answered a question in a way he didn't like in a "this is unbelievable" kind of way. He made me feel terrible about how hard I was making his job because my dog was muzzled then drew up a $2200 bill. He is a veterinarian, a medical professional, not every animal is going to be friendly and this cannot have been the first one in his career he had to examine one. The front desk staff and techs are friendly, the vet though does not care, he just wants your money so he can keep his Mercedes.

I've been taking my animals to Dr. Grewal for probably 30 years now. He and his staff are very caring towards both humans and animals. They've helped us through the good times and the bad times, and will help you keep your animals healthy too.

Friendly and very helpful on the phone. Super friendly and nice staff. Jae the tech is AMAZING! My husky didn't want to leave. All the staff is up front and honest with pricing, diagnostics, etc. Very relaxed atmosphere which put everyone living thing at ease. I did not see any family members scared, or trying to leave. Everyone seemed happy to be at the vet on an early Saturday morning.

To their credit all the techs and assistants were very nice. I took my cat in for what I thought was a constipation issue. The doctor was extremely rough with him. I wanted to tell him to please be more gentle with my pet. I couldtell that my cat was terrified. He wanted to do well over $1000 worth of work that would be completely unnecessary, that or which I of course declined. When I was waiting for the vet tech to return I heard that doctor just screaming at the top of his lungs at that poor tech! In what universe does he think that would be acceptable? This made me and my mom extremely uncomfortable. I will never take my cat back to them and I won’t recommend them to anyone.

I had a recent scare with my cat and decided to take him in to see Dr. Grewal at Animal Medical center, and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. Dr. Grewal is an exceptional veterinarian who truly cares about his patients and their well-being. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and compassionate, and always takes the time to explain everything in detail so that you can make informed decisions about your pet's care. Not only is Dr. Grewal an excellent doctor, but he also clearly loves what he does, and it shows in the way he interacts with his patients and their owners.Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Grewal and Animal Medical Center to anyone looking for top-notch veterinary care. The entire staff is friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about the animals they treat. Thank you, Dr. Grewal, for all that you do!

Years ago I found a little black neighborhood cat acting "off" and the next day it was far worse. It was very weak and I realized something was seriously wrong. Just needing to do something, and because AMC was close, I took it in for them to evaluate. They acted incredibly concerned and taking the situation into account - knowing it wasn't my pet - they examined it and kept it overnight for almost no fee. The next day they were able to tell it had been poisoned and there was no hope for it.I didn't want to go through the pain of watching it be put down and asked them to do what was necessary and I'd come in later to settle up.I realized shortly after that that I'd never feel right having it go and me not being there so I went in and petted it as they put it down. It broke my heart when it reached out and grasped my finger as it lay there and then was gone.I've been meaning to thank AMC for years for what they did, even to the point of acting so charitably and not carging much at all, because of the circumstances. I don't know what reminded me to do this now but it's been a long time coming and I do want to thank them.

The best in the bay area! The people here are incredibly kind and hospitable. They will explain what they’re doing and how it all works, offer the best prices (truly) and it is clear they really care deeply about your pet. They were very helpful with helping out my cat, I highly recommend this place.

Nice, clean facility, friendly staff, quick service (for walk-in!!). Needed to get my cat checked up for allergies and they quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me clear steps to fix the issue. Will be coming back here for regular checkups.

Dr. Grewal as well as the staff are genuine in their care and concern for the pets. Best part is they are making judgements based on the requirements and not how much money they can make.
