This animal hospital is the way underrated. Five Stars are truly not enough. Look no further this team of highly experienced individuals are the best of the best.. All around great people I was in an out faster then you could imagine with absolute compterability. It has been a night mare searching for a dependable emergency vet. Called over a dozen different location in the bay area and I couldn't believe how under trained and unproffesional most locations really are. It's pretty bad when you can tell there only there for a check over the phone and being hung up on due to a stupid question. Or placed on hold with our ever getting through or a recording that repeats with no options. If you have ever searched for a vet you know exactly what I mean. Thank God I was refferd to Dr. Grewal and his well trained crew. I couldn't believe how fast the visit went. I was in and out in less than a hour with all questions answered a treatment plan and medications, and my dog was extremly close to death very larthargic from a serve case of parvo. She was too weak to even walk and with in hours after my visit she was by the door wanting to be walked. The whole team is highly educated professionals who work together as a elite team. Dr. Grewals leadership and delegation skills really reflect though his hard working caring polite employees I left there felling like I was just welcomed into the family the true animal lovers these guys thank you Carie and the rest of the crew all you guys are equally amazing. Allie girl is going great and my life is back on track. Thank you

I'm a first time dog mom, I have an 8 month old rottie who I needed to get fixed and came to yelp to find a vet. They were so helpful, my poor pup had a skin problem on his tail I didn't even notice and they were able to fix that while I was there. This being my first dog I didn't know what to expect with the cost and google and friends told me it would be a lot but this place was really affordable for antibiotics and the procedure. SO THANKFUL I FOUND THEM!

This vet was SO amazing! Obviously having a pet who needs a vet is already stressful and they just made it so much more comfortable for me. There was no judgement for my poor pup's situation, which is so great for me because having the flea issue was just so stressful and out of my control. They also gave me reasonable pricing which was such a blessing!!! I needed to get my dog fixed which can be super expensive and getting that done plus the fleas taken care of was WAY cheaper than what people were telling me to expect! 100% recommend this place

Had to take my dog for a procedure. Everything was quick since the time we arrived. Staff is very friendly. They even called our old vet to get his medical records for us.

I couldn't be more impressed with Animal Medical Center and their staff. Very compassionate and thorough. It's comforting knowing I can leave my dog and she is well taken care of by Dr. Grewal and his Staff. I highly recommend this office They're Great..

I recently had the pleasure of bringing my beloved dog, Bubba, to Animal Medical Center San Jose and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of care and attention he received. From the moment we stepped through the door, it was evident that this clinic prioritizes cleanliness. We were greeted warmly by the staff, and the inviting atmosphere immediately helped to alleviate any nerves I had for Bubba.
Dr. Harbinder Grewal, Bubba's attending veterinarian, was an absolute gem. Not only was he incredibly attentive and pleasant, but his professionalism in every interaction. Dr. Grewal took the time to thoroughly examine Bubba, addressing all of my concerns with patience and clarity. His gentle demeanor put both Bubba and myself at ease, making the entire experience stress-free. He was very thorough and not pushy like some other vets, trying to upsell you random things to make money. I highly recommend this animal clinic.

Amazing service quality! They always squeeze my fur babies in for last minute appointments. The vets are so good with my cats, knowledgeable and patient. The prices are great! The only downside I would say is the size of the clinic, which is too small to accommodate individual patient rooms so you can't be present for the examination.

I called Animal Medical Center and got same day appointment to neuter my dog. I have been putting it off trying to find a clinic that is reasonable. The front desk ladies are really nice and made me feel comfortable getting the procedure done.
I also got his dental done same day ( a bonus since I knew I had to get it done) we will definitely starting coming here! Our old vet prices are ridiculous. I’m glad we found this clinic, the doctor is very compassionate and took his time explaining the procedure. He called me once it was all done and let me know everything went well. Thank you once again to everyone at animal medical center!

Got the puppy package, did not get to go in the back with my dog for their first shots. (You can get these done at other vets for cheaper btw.) They do not send out text or email reminders. The front staff had on “backwoods” merch, please dress like you care at all LOL. We got notified that we’d have to register our dog to the county and that we’d be getting something in the mail, we called to clarify what that meant and the person speaking was very rude and nasty. Everytime I called to confirm an appointment they would try to end the call immediately. Seems like they hire anyone without any professionalism. The vet was nice, did seem they like he wanted upsell unnecessary things. Do not recommend.

Horrific and apathetic employees, they don't care about animals whatsoever. They just want your money, please take your animals to people who actually want to help.

First time pet owner here, our family were very nervous about spaying our dog. our tiny little dog had a smooth surgery at this hospital. The doctor was very professional and skilled. Everything went smooth and safely. my dogs doing very well. thank you Dr!

The level of support, attention to detail and care for pets is second to none at AMC. I recently adopted a baby kitty and she was having a few complications. The team here diagnosed and got her back to full health in no time. Honestly it doesn't feel like I'm taking her to the vet, it feels like I'm taking her to family members with an expertise in animal care - which speaks volumes to the not only how well they take care the animals, but also educate the owners. As long as I'm in the Bay Area, this will be my go to vet. The team here is incredible!

A Caring Vet Office That Feels Like Family!
I brought my pet to this veterinary office for the first time and was so impressed by the wonderful care we received. Even though I made the appointment that same day, they were able to see us quickly. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was welcoming, patient, and attentive.
The vet took the time to calmly examine my nervous pet and explain what he was doing every step of the way. He was so gentle and compassionate that he made what could have been a stressful visit into a very pleasant experience for both me and my pet.
The receptionist and techs were just as caring. I could tell this office operates like one big family who all genuinely love animals. They helped distract my pet when he was anxious and made sure we understood all discharge instructions before leaving.
I am so relieved to have found a vet I can trust to look after my furry family member. The compassionate care from the staff turned a scary first-time visit into one that put all my fears at ease. I highly recommend this veterinary office to anyone looking for a vet that treats you like family.
