I appreciate having this location so close by to donate whenever it's convenient to me. Staff is super nice and depending on when you go you can get in and out quickly

First off the staff are very nice and do their job well. Ok here’s the cons of this donation center. If you have an appointment to just donate whole blood you have to leave yourself 1 hour minimum due to them being short staffed all the time and waiting 20 to 30 minutes past your scheduled appointment time. I’ll never donate Plasma ever again here because they left me hooked up and there was no one around to help when I started to feel sick. I’m claustrophobic so that didn’t help matters. I’m in the chair with both arms with needles in them and I couldn’t move. Horrible experience. Other than that the donation process is straight forward and the place is clean. I wish there was another donation center in the middle of the valley instead the way near Milpitas.

As others have said, they do not respect your time. They also have a few incompetent nurses but you cannot request who works on you.

Super smooth experience! My phlebotomist, Shelby M., was so kind and personable and made me feel at ease immediately. I hope I didn't project any of my anxiety on her, but I was so nervous and HATE needles and getting my blood drawn, but she kept me talking and laughing and kept the process painless and peaceful. American Red Cross is lucky to have her. Super clean facility that didn't keep me waiting at all, even as a walk in. Thanks!

I've been donating whole blood, platelets and plasma here for over 20 years. The staff here is great. They're always considerate, compassionate and thankful for donations.

This is the only place I'll take First Aid, CPR training. Teachers are employed directly through Red Cross. No third party stuff. Good sessions, proper dummies to work with good training
