This was probably one of the easiest set up for a rental. Agnes was very helpful getting this done for me. Everything was smooth the return and pick up was very convenient!!

I called many medical supply companies from San Jose to Marin and American Medical & Equipment Supply was the only place that had what I need in stock. Agnes was the staff member who helped us. She was professional, polite and very helpful. The store is beautifully stocked and organized.
I highly recommend this business for your medical supply needs.

American Medical & Equipment Supply has excellent customer service. I bought the tools I needed after hip replacement surgery, and I rented a wheel chair to make my life easier. The quality of the products I bought and I rented were excellent. Also they kept in touch during the entire wheel chair rental process and made it all easy for me.

DO NOT SHOP HERE.....THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL RIP OFF...BOUGHT A WALKER THERE AND WITHIN A MONTH IT BECAME VERY LOSE AND NOT STABLE MY DOCTOR TOLD ME TO RETURN IT.....I WENT DOWN THEE AND THEY WOULDN'T TAKE IT BACK AND WOULDN'T GIVE ME A RETURN....THE WOMEN DOWN THERE TOLD ME I AS USING IT WRONG WHAT !!!!...STAY AAY THERE ARE A TOLD RIP OFF.....AND MY DOCTOR WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM

Hard to find a place open on Saturday to rent a wheelchair, but here you go. I thought $45 for a two week rental of a transport chair (in perfect condition) was very reasonable. Very friendly staff.

This store is fantastic. Went in for a finger splint and was pleasantly surprised by their selection and expertise. Jay was more helpful in helping me find a splint that worked than my own surgeon. Can't say enough good things about my experience at this store.

We were looking for bed rails for an elderly family member. You can certainly find options online, but nothing beats being able to view the items in -store, handle them to see if they are good quality, and ask questions. Jay showed us a full range of options, answered our questions, gave lots of suggestions for us to think about, and didn't try to upsell us when we were deciding between a cheaper and more expensive rail (we went with the cheaper). The store is clean and packed with items without being cluttered. Prices were about the same as online too. We are happy to support a local business, especially when they are so enthusiastic about helping people. Note they don't accept returns for sanitary reasons, so all sales are final but you will not be pressured and you can pick something that really fits your situation.

KNEE SCOOTER RENTALS=YES KNEE SCOOTERS SANITIZED BETQWEEN RENTALS =YASSSSSSSS We were referred to this location by our family podiatrist for a knee and were so impressed by how easy and quick the rental process was for a knee scooter. The paperwork was very minimal and the whole process took less than 10 minutes. The staff is friendly and the Manager Jay will do whatever it takes to make sure that you understand the pros and cons of rental versus buying. Rentals are very easy and if you need the rental longer than you initially needed it, there is an easy text method to extend your rental. Easy peasy. I forgot to extend my rental and they sent me a super friendly reminder that the rental was due via text and I was able to extend the rental with no problem. Rentals are not even returned in the main store area because they take sanitation very seriously. They have a huge machine that sanitizes the scooters to make sure that your scooter rental is sanitized and safe. This location has so many mobility aids beyond knee scooters like walkers, motorized scooters, and even hospital beds and lift recliners. If you have any questions, Jay's friendliness and enthusiasm to help you will instantly make you feel at ease. He has a sincere interest in making sure that you get exactly what you need. There is a second floor with many more items that will assist you like custom-made recliners that fit every need. I will definitely make this my go-to destination if I need any mobility aids. Jay made the experience a delight and that's not an understatement.
