If you're looking for a place to stay near the Winchester Mystery House, THIS IS THE PLACE! Extremely clean, well-lit parking lot, super friendly staff, and they're pet friendly!!! We will definitely stay here when we come back!!

Spacious clean modern rooms, convenient free parking, good location, friendly service. Downsides: low water pressure leads to poor shower experience. Fridge wasn't adjustable and wasn't cold. No microwave in room. TV options were limited (basic cable channels only). Bar/restaurant has limited menu options. Sometimes it's these little things that make the difference between an adequate place and one you'll go out of your way to come back to. This was adequate.
Walkability: Lots of eating places within walking distance, most located within malls that are close by. There are sidewalks, but heavy car traffic.

Great hotel. Stayed here for four nights on a business trip.
The only downside is that the breakfast options are very limited.

Free parking, The rooms are comfortable and large. The bar is spacious, with a pool table and Large TV. The pool is just outside. There is a sitting area just outside of the bar. The auditor was gracious and quick. The hotel is centrally located 10 minutes from the San Jose airport, across the street is a shopping area. Several places to eat within walking distance.

It's moderate to stay near Apple Park and Samsung Electronics. Room condition is OK to stay for 3 to 5 days. But breakfast is not good because you can only order single menu and need to wait until the lady comes back rarely. She usually works at the kitchen and you have to patiently wait until she shows up to you.

Horrible experience and I cannot believe this hotel is part of Marriott. Came in to check in and saw several people ahead of me also waiting in the lobby. The front desk tells me that their system is down and so they couldn’t give me a room? That didn’t make any sense but I still waited for an hour with no updates. Then had to cancel the reservation and try to find another hotel at 1 am at night. I’ll never ever return here or give aloft another chance.

Old, dirty, unpainted, "converted" apartment building with uppity manager and no working internet. Hairs all over the room. Hey Marriott -- this hotel is in your portfolio of properties. Just FYI.
