This is my preferred auto shop for maintenance and repair. I just make an appointment for what I want, they do the job and I go home happy with smoother ride. No bullshit with selling services that I don’t need and costs inflated prices.

Well, today was a first in customer service. In trying to find a place my 100 year old dad could get his car in ASAP for a computer diagnostic for his engine light came on as Malfunction. I called a few times and did not want to leave a message for I would be leaving soon. To my surprise with caller ID the person saw that I had called several times. Even though I did not leave a message HE called me to my shock .. Wow thats customer service to call me even when I did not take the time to leave a message. could of just said to heck with this person. But he did not, He could not get my dad's car in for a couple of weeks, But he was kind enough to recommend another 5 star shop. Which in talking to them the car in going in. So ask yourself how often does a business take the time to call you by caller ID and to recommend another shop. If their caring is as good as this , I can only imagine how amazing the car service is. give them a call

One if not the most honest mechanic in the Bay Area. You really can’t go wrong with him. Just make sure you do an appointment because he’s well known and gets busy every day or you can try and see if he can squeeze you in.

I trust Akins to take care of my cars maintenance for many years. He is professional, provide great service at a fair price. I also listen to his recommendation if any part of the car need to be replaced.

I went to Akin's on Friday morning for a critical issue with my engine, and he and his team managed to not only diagnose the problem fast, but also repaired it and got my car running flawlessly in less than a day.
Akin is brutally honest about how car maintenance works, which I appreciate - his no fuss attitude towards getting things done is infectious. Akin is also very fair about pricing too! Highly recommended and definitely will encourage all my friends and family to go here too.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️??️Fantastic experience! I recently did my own oil change, rear differential fluid change, and ATF change but had Akin’s do my brake fluid exchange and A/C recharge. They were very honest, professional, and skilled; and best of all, reasonably priced. I’ll be coming back the next time I need something done.

I have been going to Akin for years, and he is the only mechanic I trust. Great work and is honest. I recently took my car in for an oil change, front + rear brake pads and rotors, and AC service. Akin had my car back to me the same day. Thanks Akin!

I've been going here for years. I bring all of my family's cars to Mr. Akin. He is an outstanding guy. He tells it how it is, gives you a fair price and gets the job done. I hope he opens another shop in Santa Clara or Sunnyvale! ?? I hope he lives a long time and continues to prosper in his business. We need honest people like him!
