I have been a loyal client of Acacia Pet Clinic for nearly 15 years. However, after the change in ownership and significant staff turnover, the quality of service has noticeably declined. Over the past two years, I've encountered numerous issues including unfulfilled promises to email prescriptions, scheduling errors, and incorrect appointment confirmations. Additionally, they no longer stock the prescribed food for my cat, and multiple attempts to connect with Chewy for orders have failed. When I requested immunization records, they were sent without the necessary dates, rendering them useless.
While the veterinarians have always provided excellent care, I miss the exceptional service that Billy and Dr. Curly once offered. Today, I had an especially frustrating experience with a staff member named Vic, whose argumentative attitude made an already disappointing situation worse. Sadly, after years of loyalty, I will be taking my pets to a new clinic.

I've been to Acacia vets 4 times, always assumed my disappointment might be "me" and dont really enjoy being negative. With years passing and staff/ownership changes, I hope for a better experience. Each time, this place seems to work at being dangerously deceptive.
Medical care for my service animal, is medical care for me, so it shouldn't be a hustle or shakedown. However, each time Acacia is caught being less than forthright. They even send in a "closer" who reports to a "manager" to see how much they can "wring" out of you. Very frustrating.
If you want to feel like you're buying a used car when seeking medical attention for your pet, this is the place for you.

I have been going here for at least 10 years plus with my little chihuahua named Timmy unfortunately Timmy passed away from old age apparently this Clinic has a policy right now free office visit for new dogs but I guess it included new clients which they refuse to see me because I was already a client that could have been a great client for my new Chihuahua about the old saying their loss I'll go somewhere else

Disappointed they are not open on Saturdays like they used to be. I feel everytime I go in this place it's going to around $500

This doctor would not sell me prescription dog food for my pet. I was told the doctor wanted to have a relationship with my animal and be seen before selling the product to me.
My dog already has a prescription from another vet in San Jose that they would not call to confirm. I was told that they are not a pharmacy.
I guess this is the reason why you have an old broke down looking practice since you don’t have a business degree .
Can’t recognize money once it walks through the door.
Also, forgot about your doctors oath .

I had the pleasure of visiting Acacia with my dog Louie and I must say that the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, who showed genuine care and compassion for our furry friends.
The veterinarian we saw was not only highly knowledgeable and skilled but also displayed a deep love for animals. They took the time to thoroughly examine my pet, explain the diagnosis in detail, and discuss the treatment options available. I felt reassured and confident in their expertise every step of the way.
The clinic itself was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, which further added to the overall positive experience. The staff went above and beyond to make sure both my pet and I were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our visit.
I left Acacia pet clinic feeling grateful for the exceptional care and attention my pet received. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a veterinarian who truly cares about the well-being of animals. Thank you to the entire team for your dedication and commitment to providing top-notch care to my loved one.
Also this under new management now ! From

I've recently added a German Shepard to our family and had the pleasure of taking my new puppy to Dr. Olsen. Dr. Olsen is not only highly knowledgeable but also genuinely passionate about animals. Being a 1st time do own I had a ton of questions. They took the time to listen to all my concerns and answered every question I had, putting my mind at ease. Their gentle approach with my puppy was incredibly reassuring, as they handled her with utmost care and made sure she felt comfortable throughout the visit. What really stood out to me was the thoroughness of the examinations. Dr. Olsen did a complete check-up of my puppy, from nose to tail, and explained every step along the way. In addition to the exceptional care provided, the clinic itself was cozy and inviting, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The experience was not just enjoyable for me but my puppy as well. We will definitely be back for all my puppies future needs. Highly recommended!

Just moved into the area and needed to find a vet for my fur babies. Walked into Acacia and right away they made me feel at home. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Dr. Steele was the one that seen my Pomeranian and right away I can tell that she loves what she does . They were very good with communicating to me with any updates. Definitely would recommend Acacia if you are looking for a veterinarian clinic.

It's only fair to mention the reviews are for Dr. Curly if over a year old as he was the sole owner for 60 years. He has retired and it is now Dr. Steal.

I went to Acacia Clinic for the first time today because my cat was not feeling well - and I was not happy. The assistant was very pleasant and I had no problem with her. The vet tried to pull my cat out of the carrier by holding her by the scruff, which as I understand it, should never be done to an adult cat. It just really hit me wrong. In addition, the office visit alone was $90 and the vet didn't do anything other than to say she needed to run tests. No temperature, no check for fleas, all she did was feel her stomach. I even had to ask for paper towels to clean my cat where she urinated in the carrier and she couldn't even offer anything to clean my hands. I was trying to find a new vet that was closer to my home, but I don't think I would return here. Maybe others have had a better experience.

Been twice, spoke with two vets. Both were very nice, gave me advice that worked and a lot of extra information that's made my puppy happier and healthier! The nurses were also all super happy to see us and set the stage for a great visit.Thank you! Found my vet :)

I took my dog in to get neutered per the recommendation of the veterinarian due to tumors on his genitals. Go to pick him, up, and he comes out the door, he starts to bleed all over the floor in the front lobby. They all looked shocked at all the blood coming out of him. They take him back and come out 40 minutes later and say it's all ok now. All they did was put on a diaper and the bleeding would stop in 24hrs. It's been 5 days now, and he still bleeds from the operation. They don't know what to do, just told me to give him this new drug prescription to stop the bleeding. If you value your pets, don't take them to see Acacia Pet Clinic.
