Well I went in for a break and headlights inspection. They told me what the issue was and how to resolve it. They did give me a price that was satisfactory. L.e.d. bulbs are not legal to have in the license plate holder.
That would of been a fail, but they changed them out and unplugged a set of lights at the bottom Of the rear bumper and only charge me an extra $75. I can't be upset if they are only following the law. Clean place, parking needs improvement over all a decent shop. Nice staff.

These guys alway take good care of me. I had taken my truck to the dealership for a recall issue and they told me brakes pads were ready to be replaced. I took the truck to High Tech to have them replaced and they told be I still had about 40k miles worth of use left on them. They could have just did the brake Joe and took my money, but they didn’t.

Just Google somewhere out of Town! They will Tell you your brakes are bad just under minimum then bring out a tool that has no calibrated tag on it. I'd love to see a Real Mechanic catch them in their scheme. 150. Easy payday ? plus if they rope you into a repair you didn't need.

Horrible place if you lose your receipt, they will charge you double because you have to pay the same money that you paid before to get it re-diagnosed you cannot get a a reprint of the receipt ….that’s kind of crazy. They wouldn’t even tell me on the phone they said I had to find the paper or they couldn’t help me. I was told I needed a brake fluid flush and three lights on the car. I took the car to my mechanic. He said he did not need a brake flush, and the only one lightbulb was out on the back plate again place is horrible and they will take your money and if they can , they’ll take double it’s crazy on the receipt which my daughter finally found it says that you have to pay the fees over if you lose the receipt,, ?? that’s just crazy beware this place will rip you off

SHADDY people and all the nice words in the world are not gonna get you more bussiness lived in this valley 54 years don’t hardly remember seeing you around. You must’ve been under another name perhaps ??? anyways again beware of the shop it’s not a good shop and I guarantee you that most of these good reviews on here are from people they know !

Good service, super experienced techs. Friendly customer service. I would highly recommend them. A lil pricey in my opinion but i guess that i need to adapt with the day and age we are living in??

Taking advantage of their power with the inspection 150 for 1st inspection and when they don't pass you Don't worry you can pay 75$ for a reinspection. I knew my vehicle would pass inspection but had to find a place that performs the inspection...how do I know it will pass? Well all my lights work properly and the equipment housing all is new and properly installed. Brakes I knew there could be an issue or some room for error on the shops behalf you know faulty uncalibrated tools they use for inspections. So I made sure to install new rotors and brake pads before making the appointment for inspection. The tech says my rotors are under minimum requirement... wait what? Explain to me how this is possible? Only drove 10 miles to the shop after the brakes were done. Here's the problem they're the only place in sanjacinto that does these inspections for the dmv system. ? So I of course have to go out of my way to get all the proof together to prove to this shop that they are shady and Should have been able to pass me with no worries. instead they thought they were going to get one over on me. Calipers for safety inspections should have a stamped certification of quality calibration. They're tools do not. Be very Cautious if you Choose to Utilize this place...

This one really hurts to review because it's a local business. Brought my vehicle here to get a brake and light inspection passed the lights of course because I can easily prove that one on spot but the tech comes out with a worn down uncalibrated tool. For a safety inspection I would think a tool for such an important safe part would have a calibration certificate but no certification tag was on such inspection tool. Easy 150$ for the shop held my keys hostage unless I paid of course I can't prove my new rotors on sight. And they know your relying on this certification so you can drive your vehicle legally. Currently working on proving my case p.s. calibrated tool showed 29.8mm literally 1 hour after this high tech auto care inc failed it for brake inspection saying my rotors were below minimum at 26.9 with a failed uncertified uncalibrated tool. Which I've used in my career for 20 years as a machinist. Just drive by there's a reason they're not getting foreign cars business lately. I should have stayed and kept an eye on my vehicle inspection.

They wanted 140 to change my headlights bulbs on a 06 is250 really??? After telling me it was just my side markers that were out, now that my led high beam its not aproved? Started as 150 plus two times I came back for 75 each im just done with this shop taking my money il just go somewhere else where they’re honest, not coming back !!!! For sure

STAY AWAY!!! This place is the worst shop I've been too. Had a battery issue so had them do a basic car inspection. Took them 2 MONTHS!!! I would call weekly for an update and was given an excuse each time. "Tech didn't update notes" "Tech is on lunch and no notes on vehicle" "Car is running but still inspecting it" Excuse after excuse. When 2 months were about to hit from time I dropped it off, then they try to hit me a laundry list of repairs needed. They said it would be over $4,000 but could be more. Could be? How do you not know how much parts and labor would run? I will definitely be getting a 2nd opinion. Take my advice, PLEASE, stay away from these scammers and lazy workers. They have no business calling this establishment a business.

If you are not concerned with high repair costs and extremely long waiting times to pick up your vehicle, then High Tech Auto Care is definitely the place for you. It took 5 weeks and $2,500 to fix a timing belt on my car. GOOD LUCK!Clarification: The High Tech Auto CARE garage in which I am referring is located on 191 Bissell Place, San Jacinto, CA 92582, not the High Tech Auto shop located in San Marcos, California.

I was quoted $165.00 for a BG EPR and MOA oil change and I've been using BG Products for five years on all my vehicles. I've never paid more than $90 for a BG EPR and MOA service. I found another shop in Oceanside, Ca that offers the same service for $86.00. I also asked for a quote for a BG quick clean transmission service and was quoted over $435.00.The same shop that did my EPR/MOA in Oceanside gave me a quote for the same BG transmission service for half the price of $215.00.
