there's never any open free parking. it's 40 dollars per semester to use one of their five giant empty parking lots. it's also impossible to get in contact with anyone on the board unless you want to jump through five hoops and email a ton of different people.

I will always have love for this school because it's here in Hemet. However, everyone beats around the bush giving you answers that are neither here nor there, until you're left with no choice but to take any class. It sucks! I'm still trying to finish a certificate but have been unable to because of lack of availability on classes. Please do better! I have the money, I have the time, why not offer more classes? Or more space for more students? Especially, when classes are offered online.

I have been attending MSJC for a year full-Time and this is my honest review. 1. Professors are nice and knowledgeable, and they also care for their students. Of course you have those professors that have been there for such a long time and are tired of their jobs, but you also have professors that care about students and their success! (Always use RateMyProfessor before choosing a professor) 2. The school provides a lot of resources if you do your research. Yes, I do agree with other reviews. Sometimes the financial aid and counseling departments don't have a full grasp on what they are talking about, that is why is important you do your own research. If you do, you should be fine. (MSJC has to retrain their staff most definitely) 3. Scheduling appointments with the Counseling Department can sometimes be a bit hard since they are always booked. However, is not impossible. You just have to find your way around it. I always been able to get my appts on time. 4. Enrolling in classes is easy, and they have done a great job adapting to the online environment since COVID. 5. Overall, MSJC is a great school. Is not amazing, that's why they're only getting a four star review. But the school wants students to succeed. They provide resources and accommodations required to help students. If you are choosing your professors wisely, and doing your own research, as well as getting involved, you will love it here. Changes take time, but they are trying to make changes to better serve the student population.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am a transfer student from ASU (currently am taking classes online*) and I need to take 2 classes in person in order to graduate. I tried speaking to someone over the phone and they gave me all the wrong information for my situation. When it came to my enrollment date for these classes I was unable to. I tried speaking to someone in enrollment center and the receptionist didn't even give me the time of day. I tried explaining to her my situation and she completely shut me down. Said to schedule an appointment and when I ask for a appointment, she states there's none??? Worst community college, please save your time, money and efforts and go elsewhere. Very unprofessional and unorganized. How do you expect our youth to get educated when schools like this provide service in this manner? Making it harder and unfriendly to even want to pursue an education. Shesh.

Admissions and counseling services are a joke here. I have been going to this school for over a year now, with my major being Public Health. Come to find out they don't even offer the core course they require for graduation and the counselors didn't even know they aren't offering it!!!! Now I have to find another school and do all the paperwork just for one class to graduate. They are no help and have made this process unbearable.
