“On my way to Palm Springs this past Thursday morning when my Jeep started what's called a death wobble. It's a problem that eventually happens to most Jeeps, which is caused by either the suspension or steering. After leaving the 10 and finding a safe place to call AAA. My experience after having AAA for 20 years is that the contract with excellent companies. Within 20 minutes the driver arrived and had my car on the flatbed. My mechanic went out of business and the driver gave me a few minutes to locate another location in West Hollywood. The driver was very friendly and the cab was clean. After dropping the Jeep off at the shop he gave me a lift to my apt a few blocks away. EXCELLENT service. In the confusion I didn't get the driver's name and I feel bad about that. I'd really like to give him a shout out.”

“I grew up in a shop, working on cars, motorcycles, and airplanes with my brother and father. My father would have us re-do anything that wasn't up HIS standard. I tell people this because the reason I have been going to Ara for years is that he is the only mechanic I have done repeated business with that has such a high standard for the quality of his work. I drive a 2011 Mini Cooper Clubman with a turbo and it runs better than when I bought it new. I really enjoy that I can drop by Ara's shop without notice when he's working on my car - we get to talk shop and he walks me through what he's doing and I'm always so happy to see someone doing a high quality and meticulous job that they're beaming with pride over. I can try and scrutinize his work as much as I want, but I always have to admit he does a better job than I could, even if my father made me re-do it three times, lol. If I have so much auto experience why do I take my car to a mechanic at all? It's a Mini Cooper, it's such pain in the ass to take apart - and Ara's got the patience, the talent, and most of all has the pride in his craft to do a perfect job every time I need to address a fix. Thanks Ara!!”
