i wouldn't recommend this place to buy soda. a bottle of diet coke is $3.50. i believe in supporting the local business but 3.50 for a bottle soda is ridiculous.

Tried to purchase some products from there liquor and when I came up to the register the lady I'm the back told me nobody was there to ring up and that she was busy I asked her if she knew how much it was to leave the money and she told me no. How do you have the door open to an establishment but have no one to attend the customers and the person who is there refuses to help the customers? Horrible customer service

Food here is inconsistent. The 2 ladies that work here, don't know what they are doing. I had to ask them to redo my order and put cilantro, onion and cheese. When to begin with, I already told one of the girls I wanted everything on my birria tacos. Top of that, she show me what she wrote down, before telling the cook! So, I don't understand how she got my order wrong. Especially, when she was helping the girl cooker and was seeing what she was doing!Been here multiple of times and sometimes when I go they have some decent cooks . But, lately when I have been going ..these 2 ladies are here, they mess up my order, it's not crispy enough, and the tacos are falling apart !! It happened 3 different times that I was here. They should hired better cooks! Especially, if they don't know what they are doing! I should have took a picture of how they made it and after I had them redo it. Also, they barely put any cheese in my birria tacos. For the record, the birria meat is good that's why I keep coming back and the ladies cookers are lacking skills on how to make the birria tacos right. They should bring back the birria pizza because that was actually good!

Been meaning to come back here to try out the Birria Pizza & there's no time like the present.I thought for some reason it might take awhile to order so I just called in, but they said it would only take 10-15 min to be ready. So that's good.I did not see it on the menu at all, unless I just missed it, but it's currently $22 (as of September 2021). & It does not include the conumme which I initially thought it would. Not that this taste bad, but it's really just a gimmicky food that's cool to bring to like a party or potluck or something. It's basically just a birria quesadilla. For some reason I actually found it somewhat lacking in flavor. Just couldn't really get a strong meat or cheese flavor out of it. Both salsas that are included are well made with slight heat & elevates the dish. I actually think the side of consumme which is not included is not really needed & doesn't add much. Since it's the same birria which needs more aggressive seasoning.I think it's worth getting as I stated, if you're bringing it to an event. But I'd rather just have a taco or nachos.

Located inside a liquor Mart, Roxy's food selections are definitely a must try. I ordered the birria pizza which used to be $18, but recently increased to $22.Y'all, this birria pizza don't play!! The birria pizza is literally the size of a med/large pizza, comes in a pizza box, and super SUPER filling!!! My friend and I only had like 2 pcs each and was way passed full. I would say the pizza came with about 8-9 slices so it can definitely feed 4-5 people depending on how much people eat maybe even 6 people. Be sure to get the side of consume to dip for your pizza, an absolute necessity!! I got a medium and it was good amount for the whole pizza. I airfried the pizza the day after and it was still good so don't feel too bad if you can't finish it in one go!

Yes located inside liquor store, super clean and well vented. Was able to call my order in, took about 30 minutes to prepare everything. Briria tacos with queso and dip it in the cosume. BOMB! Flavorful meat, the outside was just cooked to perfection. The soup your able to dip it in was just mouth watering. Potato tacos, the filling tasted like mash potato and it had flavor in the potato itself as well. Service was amazing. It's a bit pricey but you do get what you pay for.

Came for their Birria tacos after seeing them mentioned again and again on sgv eat group. Overall thought they were just okay. The flavor had one tone. Nothing comparable to what I had near usc food track. At least the meat was semi-tender. Also thought the food was really expensive. From the most recent menu... and how much they charged my card... it was about $5-6 over what I was expecting. No receipt was given so I thought that was sketchy. Also came during the peak of the pandemic, neither of the girls were wearing their masks over their nose. Only adjusted them when they saw me approaching the counter and removed them as soon as I got my food.

We came for the Birria tacos (each $3.50) after hearing good things on SGV Eats. I paid $15 for 3 tacos and a small consome broth, which is overpriced for what you get. You also are taxed an additional alcohol charge since this is a liquor store, and you can also be charged an additional fee if you're using a credit card for an order under $12. The tacos themselves were really good, filled with delicious tender meat and melted cheese. However, they forgot to put onion and cilantro in our party's tacos. Thankfully we decided to eat in the lot and noticed so we could go back to ask for some on the side. Unfortunately, the consume was SO OILY it was pretty much inedible. It was well seasoned and filled with chunks of meat, but I've never had broth covered in literally an inch of oil. I didn't notice it until I drank a big gulp of oil and just felt disgusting after for the rest of the meal. Not sure why the consume we got were so oily because my friend also couldn't finish her's. Maybe it was just an off day but I would definitely avoid their broth if it is consistently like this. Pretty disappointing since we came mainly for the birria portion.

Found this place while getting boba, and decided to try their $3 birria tacos. This was my first time trying birria tacos, and I think Roxy's has set the bar high! I got one with cheese ($3.50) and one without, and IMO the cheese birria tacos is the way to go. The consume (soup dip) is sold separately, a small is $3.25. GET IT. That consume is a game-changer, and the spicy option is not very spicy at all but had a good kick. The food took a while to make, but I'm so glad for this spontaneous 4:30pm snack! This place is a mini mart that has a lot of liquor/alcohol, but the tacos/Mexican food is what I'll be coming for. They have a couple of tables set up outside for customers. They also have a 20 tacos + rice and beans + 2L soda for $25 on the Wednesdays between 5-9pm. Definitely coming back for that while the deal is still there!!

Hidden gem! They are listed as a liquor store and mini mart but what you don't see in their name is that they are a RESTAURANT!They have quite the huge selection of beer and hard liquor here and lots of little snacks. Just all the right things for a good night. To top it off, they have food and it is shockingly delicious! Got a chance to try a few of their items and not one of them disappointed whatsoever.- Watermelon drink - so refreshing 5/5- Chicharron taco - BEST you'll ever find. They have their cooking technique and texture on lock 5/5- Birria taco with dip - birria is already a stewed pork but when you get the dip, it just additionally brings out all of the flavor 5/5- Al pastor taco - 5/5- Carne asada taco - 5/5- Ceviche tostada - good portion, fresh af, there's fresh jalapeno in here so if it's too spicy just pick them out 5/5My favorite part about this place is that they make their tortillas fresh from corn. The style of Mexican food it is is from Jalisco. Officially my new favorite Mexican spot in all of Los Angeles. Absolutely can't wait to come back and try more.

The food from this hole in the wall liquor store is INCREDIBLE.It's a small shop in a small strip mall, but the amount of variety they manage to offer is amazing. They have deals for $1 tacos on certain days, but the food is worth paying full price. I tried their birria ramen and birria nachos. Their birria ramen is literally the only one I've come across so far that I actually enjoyed. Only thing is that it needs to be eaten right away since it gets soggy quick. I was expecting just meat and cheese on their nachos since that's how it's advertised on their IG. I was pleasantly surprised when they came fully loaded and absolutely delicious. A huge plus for me was that they actually used nacho cheese, not melted shredded cheese.I definitely want to go back for more.
