I inherited a diamond ring from my grandmother and wanted to get it appraised. So happy I found Mr. David as was looking for someone in SGV that is GIA certified. He is located in a very unassuming spot in San Gabriel Plaza and I was able to find him by taking the elevator to the third floor and looking for his booth number. He was very professional and personable, and walked my Mom and and I through exactly what he was doing. Whole process took probably 15-20 minutes and I was off with my appraisal certificate! His prices are very reasonable and he is very genuine and honest. Would recommend!

Mr.Ha is a very intelligent, patient, and passionate man. He went above and beyond to make sure my jewelry were real, top quality, and appraised it very generously. Giving me the details of what I had, what to do with them, and also giving me advice on the market and current trends. He will definitely have me back as a customer, and everyone else will do well going to him for any, and all needs!

I needed to get an appraisal for my emerald engagement ring and David did not disappoint. He was able to give me an accurate appraisal and even told me where my stone was sourced based on the color. His prices are VERY reasonable and I even ended up buying a small jade cross for my grandmother. I highly recommend David. His stand was a little difficult to find, but he gave me great directions when I called. He is also GIA certified.

I was in the gem importing and jewelry business for many years. Now retired and out of touch with current values. Recently needed a current GIA certified appraisal on my personal jewelry. David Ha knows his stuff! You can trust his knowledge and honesty. Reasonable prices for detailed appraisal certificates. And as a side benefit--a great choice of various regional Chinese cuisines at some super restaurants at the mall.

I went to David today and bought two Jade pendants. David was so sweet and full of humor. It meant a great deal to me to be treated so kindly while shopping for jewelry. I don't normally splurge on myself, his prices were very fair. David gained a new loyal customer.

My experience first started with a phone call to David to ask about getting an appraisal for my jade necklace. He was so warm and welcoming (great sense of humor!) and made me feel right at ease with both finding his store and with the appraisal! He explained, thoroughly, everything about the types of jade, what he looks for and the kinds of things I should look for in purchasing a piece of jade jewelry! Very fair price for the appraisal as well! I will be returning time and again to do business with him!

There isn't a lot of certified gemologists around the area. After some search with Yelp and visited many Jewelries store, we decided to give Ha Dynasty Jewelry & Gems Laboratory a try. Our first visit was to inquire about the price and getting to know Mr. Ha. David Ha is G.I.A certified gemologist and jewelry appraiser. We have found out the pricing for each of appraised item to be $35 and $75 appraise with certificate. If you bring more items to appraise Mr. Ha will provide discount for you. We have learned a lot while going thru items with Mr. Ha. He will tell you very thing you need to know about your item and even provide comparison for better understand of the jewelry for appraise. We really enjoy the process. Mr. Ha will suggest a range of value and what value you should sell and what you should not. Ha Dynasty is located on the 3rd floor of San Gabriel Square. After exiting elevator, you turn to the left and look for Suite 12. Mr. Ha is very knowledgeable and careful about his appraised item. We'll definite return if we have other items that requires appraise.

We've been searching for a G.I.A certified gemologist and experienced Jewelry Appraiser for a while, we couldn't find the one until we tried to visit the San Gabriel Square Plaza. The first time we didn't bring my jade and other items, just chat with Mr. David and found out that he is a very knowledgeable and experienced master with Jade, diamond and other gemstones with so many years hands on experiences. So I made my decision to bring my jade, diamond and ruby to him the next visit. Mr. David is very professional and knowledgeable. He explains every item's details from the look to the test results from his professional examination equipment. Also showed us the similar item both in fake and real in his own collections to teach us the difference between the fake one and nature stone. For my real diamond, he counted the whole one and melees very carefully and gave the most precise appraise price, and also the current retail price. He also gave me the advice on not to change the diamond ring's base and the reason behind this, and help us to clean the item with the professional tool. Mr. David is a very fun person to chat as well, it's really fascinating to hear some of the stories from the master who has been trough a lot. We are glad to find the Pro like Mr. David in this field in LA area with all the strong knowledge and vivd personality. We will definitely visit Mr. David's laboratory again to lean more and enjoy this atmosphere surrounded by these beautiful stones and interesting history.

I went to have two jade bangles verbally appraised. The owner was incredibly nice and friendly, had an immense knowledge of jade, and had very reasonable prices for both appraisals and jewelry. He tested my jadeite bangles with conductive and optical equipment. I ended up buying a two-tone pixiu jadeite ring (grade A), and love it! Looking forward to my next visit.
