This Citibank location is a mixed bag. As some banks have done since COVID, they require appointments to get help with anything other than straight deposits or withdrawals. Depending on the season, getting an appointment at a good time may be difficult and you may need to wait even with an appointment. The parking is limited and can be challenging when they are busy. The staff is currently very Chinese as in reflection of the community. If you speak Chinese, you will get better service here. That is good if you speak Chinese or have a Chinese speaker in the family like we do, but if you are one of the Vietnamese, Hispanic, or other types of people that live in the area, then you might be better off driving further to a more distant and multicultural location. Also, and as many banks are now, they are VERY salesy at this location and will push harder than other banks various types of financial/investment services and products. Overall, their service is adequate and they get the job done.

The person who calls herself Personal Banker in this bank lied to customer by denying that she gave a false info about my CD renewal. Because of her incompetence, I have to pay more than $500 penalty for missing the day to renew my CD. This bank has a very bad customer service and other services as well. Customers should go to other banks that are reliable and trustworthy!

I had a truly unpleasant experience with bank teller Daniel Tong while attempting to open a joint account. His behavior was shockingly rude and unprofessional. From the moment we approached him, he displayed a complete lack of patience and courtesy. Instead of guiding us through the account opening process, he seemed irritated by our questions and took every opportunity to make us feel like a burden. It was a frustrating and disheartening encounter that left me questioning the quality of customer service at this bank. I strongly recommend the bank reevaluates its staff training to ensure customers are treated with respect and courtesy.

If I could give zero stars, I most definitely would. I had an awful time working with Daniel at this branch. He was not willing to help me and address my concerns. He was extremely rude and impatient. I have never had such a terrible experience at a bank before! I will not continue banking at Citi if this a reflection of their customer service.

I had the worst experience at this branch with Daniel Tong. He was extremely condescending and unprofessional. I was trying to set up a new joint account, and he was unhelpful and useless. He was unwilling to find any solutions and was barely listening when I was sharing my concerns. He kept checking his computer and looking at the time, instead of offering any customer service. My experience was so awful that I am going to close my accounts at Citibank due to Daniel Tong's poor service. I rarely write reviews, but this experience was so terrible that I do not want anyone else to have to go through the displeasure of encountering Daniel Tong's dismal service.

The young guy there has so bad attitude. Impolite to clients. I have never encountered such a bad service. The impatient attitude is really bad. When I asked him what the interest rate was, he was so unprofessional and the information he provided was different. Is this how you serve? You should really get a good education

Today is really a bad day. I have never encountered such a bad service. I went to transfer the money in my account to other banks. When the counter clerk was halfway through the process, I was asked to wait next to me. After waiting for a long time, I went up I asked how long it would take to wait. The bank lady said she didn't know and needed to be reviewed by other departments. I asked about how long it would take. Transfer the money in my own account, the answer is still no time, I will ask if your manager is there? She said no, well, since this is the case, I don't need to wait any longer. It's really disappointing. I think about closing this account after a while!

I met Vivian the bank clerk, at Bay Street Alhambra city bank.91801 she seems so professional and walk me thru my need in openings a CD and traditional IRA. I found out later she no longer work there, that sad,the new bank clerk by the name of jerffery and, not helpfull at all the other bank clerk last name Mr Yoon , he seem lost and told me that's he had no knowledge and assist in handling the Ira traditional . Very disappointed,

The teller cannot follow verbal requests. He does not understand full English or something. I requested to make a payment to my loan account, he processed the payment to my credit card account instead. No verbal confirmation before admitting the payment through his end. Also did not properly communicate that my request has been completed. Was just awkward leaving had to ask if everything was finished. Checked my app at midnight to see if the payment went through. Turned out he did process it to my credit card instead of my request to pay my loan account. This is outrageous. I even showed him my phone the loan account with the minimum payment I requested to pay accordingly. Now I have to revisit the branch and explain this issue to have it be properly addressed and reverted. The phone representative at the time (Jason) was unable to fulfill my request due to the fact that they can only send a check and unable to revert the payment back to my debit card so that I can properly pay the loan account myself. This is the final time I will ever step foot inside that branch. Really poor customer service. I wish I had read the reviews but I knew it since I visited in 2021 that was the last time I stepped foot inside for assistance and the employees there are limited. 2~3 in their cubicle/desk, 1 teller for the entire branch. What's the reason for such a huge building if they aren't active enough? Makes no sense. I am really upset this all took place but I suppose this is what happens when you don't have properly trained tellers/employees.
