They carry laniege, amore pacific, and IOPE products as well as their own store brand which runs a bit lower pricewise. This is one of those stores where the sales assistants watch your every move, but the japanese/korean cosmetic store across the street does the same so maybe its just the area? credit card minimum is 20$ which is a bit steep, but easily attainable when you're makeup shopping. My friend and I walked in here on a whim and the store was empty. I was really happy to find that their aritaum poremaster primer (in the robin egg blue packaging), was an dupe for the benefit porefessional primer! Another plus is that they gave us alot of free samples with our purchase.

Worst custom service ever......tried the air cushion at the store and thought it was pretty nice so I bought the item...but I started feel itchy on my skin so I went return it right away and the lady there said that there's NO RETURN on all items even though it's not even opened yet!! And they didn't even mention it when I purchased it!!

The customer service here needs work. They follow you down on your every move. I like how they carry Laneige, Aritaum, IOPE, and other skincare brands. For cosmetics it's mainly just those 3 mentioned. A lot of items are out of stock for the Aritaum items which is disappointing because they don't get the new stuff you see online in Korean based stores. Other than that I really like the products! Aritaum is more for teenage to 20s and the prices are affordable.

Super new! I love it because they sell Korean products! Since this brand is popular in Korea, it's my new favorite store! Products are reliable and have cute packaging. This store used to be The Amore, but is now Aritaum. Definitely recommend this store to beauty gurus!

*UPDATE* I realize that I wrote a review for their second location ( the 1635 San Gabriel Blvd one) instead of its Focus Plaza location. The one I went to was at the Focus Plaza on Del Mar and Valley Blvd 1st Location (on Valley Blvd and Del Mar) 140 W. Valley Blvd #118A San Gabriel, CA 91176 626.572.9377 2nd Location (on Valley Blvd and closer to San Gabriel Blvd) 1635 S. San Gabriel Blvd. San Gabriel, CA 91176 626.280.8473 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I never thought to write a review for this place until I encountered several horrible customer services at The Amore on Atlantic Blvd. I have gone and purchases several products from this store several times and the customer services have been amazing. The employees they hired here are nice and really want to help you find the right product. I once was trying to decide my shade when purchasing the Laneige Cushion and the employee was super patient and helpful during this time. I was in there the whole entire time trying to decide what to get. Lol She never once pushed me to horrible. They are also not stingy about giving samples, which I absolutely LOVE! I will definitely come back here when I need--or rather want to buy something new to try out. So thanks for your GREAT service!

Decided to stop by here because my aunt was looking for a particular product from Sulwhasoo. Being curious, I followed and found myself wanting to learn more about Korean brands. My friends always recommend Laneige, but never had the chance to actually go to an Amore store until yesterday. While my aunt shopped for her Sulwhasoo products (both makeup and skincare), I browsed through their multiple Laneige lines that include their basic skincare line, brightening/whitening, water line for hydration, radiance, and the likes. The hydration section caught my eye since I'm a s***** for hydrated, supple skin. The sales associated was very informative, and told me about each line, it's usage, and what each product's purpose is. She never pushed me to buy anything. Rather, she informed and insisted that I take a few samples if I'm still deciding. As I was still deciding, I turned around and saw their whitening line. Recently, I've been really obsessed with the color of my skin and been avoiding the sun as much as possible. I was told that Laneige's whitening line is new. It didn't help that they had cute packaging either. I ended up getting their whitening serum, which came with a mini travel size day serum, face cream, eye cream, and toner. As promised, the sales associate gave me samples of products I was eyeing earlier: one that melts blackheads and a mask. She gave me 7 samples! SEVEN! I definitely liked that they weren't stingy with samples. Also, make sure to sign up for their membership. Every dollar spent is a point added to your account. You get 100 points free on your first purchase. After accumulating 300 points, you get a $10 discount! Winning Y^___^Y

I came here recently looking for new skincare products to try. I've been interested in korean skincare products for awhile but have been reluctant to try them since I didn't know much about them. The Amore is located inside the San Gabriel Superstore Market. When I came in, I was greeted right away by the sales person. She was very helpful and knowledgable. She was attentive at helping me find the right product. She asked me detailed questions about my skin and my concerns. I ended buying the Laneige line. It came with additional small sizes of serums and creams. She also threw in a ton of samples for me to try. I also really liked there is a 14 day exchange policy just in case the product is not working for you. I am looking forward to see how this product works since I've heard so many good things about it. I bought a full size cleanser, toner, and moisturizer for $75. It is a little expensive but I don't mind spending more on skincare products. Fingers crossed! Make sure you sign up for their rewards system! 1 point for every dollar you spend. You get 100 points just for your first visit.

I didn't really enjoy my experience here at all - not only was I waiting around for 20 minutes to even get the lady's attention, she was very rude and spoke down to me whenever I had any questions. Gosh, way to capture a new customer's interest....It's not nice to just assume the world should know everything pertaining to the brand and then treat them like inferior crap when they don't. I think I could have easily walked away with a new skincare set + makeup if she was nice enough to explain to me what the products were and give me recommendations based on my skin type - but she didn't and was so rude about it, I didn't appreciate it at all.

There are tons of The Amore beauty stores, but I usually go to this one because it is located inside a huge grocery store that my parents shop at weekly. It sounds wierd I know..located in a grocery store? Well, the grocery store also rents out counters for people to sell beauty supplies, cell phones, handbags, and there is a Yum Cha Cafe dim sum to go place in here as well. Anyways, lets get down to the nitty gritty! The Amore is a beauty company that sells Korean Skincare and Makeup. They have different brands such as Laneige, and IOPE and other brands I am not that familiar with. I have tried only IOPE and Laneige. Laneige is more for those in their teens and 20's. IOPE is more for 30's and I believe the other brands they have there are for the elderly..sorry..sounds harsh but true! What I like about Laneige's skincare products are that they are not harsh on your skin. I have super sensative skin, and every product that I have used have not given me problems. At first I used their basic skincare line, then upgraded to their Perfect Renew line. To get the best results on your skin, you really need to buy the whole collection of each line. That means: toner, lotion, cream, moisturizer, etc. I have also used their Strawberry Yogurt Mask and Scrub..those work WONDERS!! The strawberry yogurt mask seriously has real strawberries in them!! Them seriously smell delicious, you just want to eat it..and after using the scrub and mask, your skin feels so baby soft. There are many THe Amore stores around..you just gotta look for them. Oh, and what I like about these stores is that they don't just give you one or two small samples of their other products like most over the counter mall brands do..they give u TONS of samples to try..Before I bought the scrub and mask, they gave me like 7 samples to try of the same thing so I was consistent and actually was able to see results. They did that with many of the other products too. Girls..you really need to visit one and you won't regret it!
