“Bettie made me feel like a million bucks when I was trying on sweaters, and I ended up buying two that I just absolutely love. She was so much fun to talk to. I'll be back, for sure. Thank you!”
“They took it to an extreme to make sure I had a great experience and are willing to talk to you! Two things truly I appreciate from this company and will continue to give my business too.”

549 Hayes St, San Francisco“Just like to say how much I like my Cotopaxi vest. Just bought my second vest as I wore out my first one after many years. I have had so many compliments from people, maybe it’s the color, that I never get when I’m wearing any other vest as I have several from other outfitters. Love it.”
“I had the best experience working with Mary at Bridal Breeze! I went into the store not sure if what I was looking for even existed, and I found one that was perfect (plus several others that were also beautiful, just not exactly what I wanted). I think the store has fewer dresses that some of the other stores I went to, but they were all perfectly curated, so I was trying on one beautiful dress after another! They also post their entire inventory online, which was really useful for me beforehand, as I was trying to decide whether it was worth the drive from the south bay all the way up to the city. It definitely definitely was! They do not do alterations, but they have a few tailors who they recommend. I've heard horror stories about other shops ordering dresses multiple sizes too big so they can gouge you on alterations, so I'm happy to have avoided that conflict of interest. My dress pretty much fits, just needs some minor adjustments. Do note that the store is very small, so they can only handle one bride at a time. Definitely make an appointment before you go.”
“Alicia is the heart and soul of her amazing store, Land of the Sun. It’s one of the few original businesses from the peace and love Haight Ashbury scene of the 60s and 70s. I love all the merchandise she offers, especially my mushroom bell bottoms, Alice in Wonderland vintage t-shirt, the Grateful Dead t-shirts, stickers and patches. Every time my husband and I visit San Francisco, we make a homage to the Haight, and we definitely make a stop into Alicia’s wonderland to soak in the positive vibes and creativity that she radiates. It’s an integral part of our SF experience. Please support Alicia and her business! With all the online competition it’s harder to compete, but the online competition doesn’t offer the magic and love that Land of the Sun does. We love you, Alicia, and wish you all the best! ???❤️?”

“I was looking for a place that carries products aimed at cognitive enhancement (nootropics) and overall brain health and wellness (adaptogens). Drawn to the name, The Higher Consciousness, I found such supplements to elevate my mind. It's a specialty shop located in the eclectic and diverse Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. They carry a wide assortment of unique cbd, mushrooms, and plant medicines not found elsewhere, all reasonably priced. The shop owners are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to answering questions and making product suggestions based on your specific needs. You can also find an interesting assortment of cannabis and mushroom themed books, novelties, and gifts. I've been here a few times and truly recommend this place. Nothing but good vibes and great customer service here. Thanks guys! Not to mention, it's always good to support and shop local businesses.”
“What a wonderful experience. I wandered into this store after a recommendation from a colleague. I was seeking a particular item, stationery for letters and envelopes. As soon as I entered, Danielle welcomed me with a smile and offered to help. She listened carefully and brought me a wide selection of products to choose from. Each package had a different theme with cards, stickers, and envelopes. I was so pleased with the price and cute factor of all the products. Danielle invited me to explore the store after I made my selection. There are so much fun gift ideas from coasters to bags to women's clothing. During checkout, Danielle explained the history of the store, shared other locations around the Bay Area, and promoted the fact that this store is Female and family owned. I look forward to coming back to explore and recommend you do too! Until next time.”
“Love Love Love!!! This line of clothing! High quality! The leather vests are soft, but durable and very nicely made! I love everything about this store! The owners are pretty awesome also!!!”

“Isso is a neighborhood staple! Despite the proximity to Valencia and Dolores, Isso manages to have affordable pieces. Many of the clothes are sourced and hand tailored to make original garments, or are otherwise lovely vintage pieces. I’ve gotten 2 pairs of jeans/ trouser from here - both were under $20 and are two of the most complimented pieces in my wardrobe! Super unique, chic, sustainable place to shop :)”
“I had a great experience getting my leather coat tailored here! Skip and Joe are very attentive and made sure I liked the finish product. I wasn't satisfied after the first iteration and they made further adjustments for no additional cost! Love my coat now and can't wait to wear it!”

1590 Sutter St, San Francisco“Great place. Nice fire places and areas to hang out and read a book or just chill. Service is good. Like most of San Francisco, you have to bee concerned about leaving anything in your car.”
“I had an amazing experience dealing with this store online. I was able to find a Max Mara coat I was scouring the internet for, and it was sold out everywhere except here! I even called Max Mara and they told me they would not be able to get it in until next Fall season, so I was super excited to see it in my size. I've never shopped at this site before, but I was confident in purchasing anyways due to the awesome reviews. Chelsey O'Brien was wonderful, and even emailed me to thank me for the purchase and to check in to see how much I loved the new coat! This retailer is family-owned, which I love, and they have so many amazing designer pieces on their site which is well-stocked. Will be shopping here a lot more now!!”
“We recently moved across town (away from Siren), and one of the biggest things I'll miss most is being able to run into Siren for the perfect outfit for any occasion. The folks there are just incredible, and the selection is fantastic (as are the prices). But it's worth the trek across town, and I'll be sure to visit as often as possible. Would LOVE to see a second location on the north side!”
“Love it here! Been in twice and had great service each time and walked away with some gorgeous pieces. Sterling was there last time and she was very kind and helpful.”
“I had a fantastic experience at this store on Sunday, thanks to Teresa's exceptional service. Despite the necklace I wanted being out of stock, Teresa promptly located it in another store and arranged for it to be FedEx'd to me. She kept me informed throughout the process, and today, (Tuesday),I received the necklace and it's stunning. Teresa's professionalism and dedication made all the difference.Thank you, Teresa!”

I always visit this store when I’m in NorCal because I like the neighborhood store is at and sometimes they have hidden gems. I bought 2 shoyoroll rvca collab gis from the store when it’s sold out online. Just wish they have more sale item bc they are expensive.”
“Best clothing store in SF. Howard and Mary are so meticulous about their selections, their clothing is perfectly curated to perfection. Not to mention, all of their employees are truly gems of humans.”
“Great experience! Loved being able to build my own bracelet. It's a little overpriced for the materials but I guess not for the area. Staff is awesome! Lots of other good things in the shop to buy as well!”

498 Hayes St, San Francisco“We were visiting on our way home to Honolulu and stopped into this quaint clothing shop in February. I found a tropical/ethnic bathing suit on a rack with others and asked if it was on sale like the others were marked. The nice man told me the price and I bought it instantly. I've worn it at our pool at home and love it. Can't want to need another one and shop online. Thanks for your friendly staff and great men's clothing items... Aloha~”
“I was walking by this cool little shop and thought to walk in. The place has really nice clothing and little other things. Ron was extremely friendly and the vibe of the shop was so welcoming. I'll definitely go back the next time I'm in town.”

366 Jefferson St, San Francisco“This is the last classic maritime store in the Fisherman's Wharf area. While everywhere else seems to have become a t-shirt shop, Frank's Fisherman sells authentic nautical items. Like a cool museum inside with a vast number of exciting items to browse. Also, lots of books, antiques, high end clothing are on display. A must stop shopping experience for real sailors, or anyone who is interested in the sea going lifestyle.”
