Unfortunately, my go-to pharmacy closed and I was referred to Walgreens. I went for my Covid booster today and when I tried asking for help, and let them know I was here for the vaccine, they treated me rudely. I wish they were organized and clear with me, so I wouldn't have had to ask for help or remind them I was still here. This was all before getting a shot, which is painful and stressful in itself. Medical providers have a responsibility to at least be clear, even if they are not trained in their bedside demeanor with patients. This is especially true as they hold your necessary medicine and treatment in their hands. The pharmacy staff here lacks both. I will be looking for a different pharmacy, even if it means traveling out of the way.

The pharmacy here is incredibly slow and unhelpful. I'd recommend going elsewhere. They are the worst

Empty shelves for weeks . I work across the street and thought it'd be a good idea to get some snacks for my breaks . Came here twice with maybe a little over a week in between only to find they still had the same items I wanted out of stock . When I told them they should restock their shelves , the lady at the register just shrugged at me . Worst Walgreens ever .

I came here yesterday to get my Booster Shot. This store seems small when you first enter, but then you see how big it is. I noticed the book, Ghosts and Legends of Alcatraz. I had not idea the island prison was once haunted!

This is my neighborhood Walgreens - I love them. Walgreens across the country and in our city has been besieged with people stealing from them. I feel for every employee who works there. The pharmacy staff are fantastic. Caring, concerned, kind and knowledgable. The other Walgreen staff are courteous and helpful. I appreciate you Walgreens!

It's so unbelievable that a huge company as Walgreens will not restock the shelves in the stores that are located and what I was told a high "crime area", I've come to this location about five times in the last six months and every time the same items are missing and not restocked, seeing how this is the only Walgreens around the neighborhood I find it being very discriminatory! Hire security or take the loss, do not make others suffer because people shoplift. People shoplift everywhere... You make it harder for other people to get things they need for daily life when you continue not to restock items because of Naomi theft. You don't carry most of what every Walgreens carries, must be poor management at this location to continue doing this. If you live in the neighborhood and need to go to Walgreens I recommend going a little bit further and going to another location

I'm never going to shop online for store pickup at Walgreens again. You place the order online but the customer service comes from the store. The whole experience is just terrible.

Very rude people. The girl with the arm sleeve tattoos (looks amazing girl, money well spent), and the bald guy just do not know how to do their jobs. Their level makes the place feel those rude shops in Chinatown. They clearly take notes from Trump on public relations. Pathetic. Good on you Walgreens, keep the poor reputation going.

The only reason I'm giving this location / store # 2866 even one star is because of the staff in the pharmacy. They are lovely and I have been shopping here for my prescriptions for probably 20+ years. However, the condition of the store, lack of merchandise (due to high crime and weekly theft) and what is left of any value in the store is now "chained up under lock and key". Almost the entire cosmetic department is "gone" and all you see are empty hooks and empty shelves. Is this the way to draw folks in to shop ?? I have heard from the store manager they feel their life is in danger on a daily basis. Recently someone walked in and pepper sprayed the whole store so they could ransack the shelves and merchandise. They have even caught the individual on camera, yet NOTHING IS BEING DONE TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF THE EMPLOYEES AND PATRONS SHOPPING IN THE STORE. Oh and this is a repeat offender to this particular Walgreen's. Is Walgreens's, The Board of Directors and Senior Management so hungry to line their pockets of income and bonus's they feel the need to keep such a decrepit and unsafe retail store open !!!! Yes, it's convenient for the local hospitals and folks in the neighborhood but not at the expense of EVERYONE'S SAFETY !!! I say "Shut It Down" !!!! I will no longer support this business and will move my prescriptions to another, not so convenient store, yet one I believe will be safe for it's patrons and take into account the safety and well being of their staff. I will also go so far as to write to corporate. I believe the District Manager should be much more on top of this location and contact her superiors regarding the condition of the store and certainly the safety aspect for the employees and patrons alike. As pulled from their website - Walgreens Boots Alliance takes seriously its aim of inspiring a healthier and happier world, as reflected in our core values: Trust Respect, integrity and candor guide our actions to do the right thing Care Our people and customers inspire us to act with commitment and passion Innovation We cultivate an open and entrepreneurial mind-set in all that we do Partnership We work collaboratively with each other and our partners to win together Dedication We work with rigor, simplicity and agility to deliver exceptional results Hm, do you believe what you have read above. Possibly yes, but obviously not in all cases of their retail locations, do their "Core Value's apply. Many, many 1 star and negative reviews.

Overall one of the dirtiest and unkempt Walgreens I have ever been to. While this location is typically completely deserted and void of any customers (unsurprisingly so), it will still take a maddening amount of time to receive any sort of service from those who work there. Even for the terribly low bar set by most Walgreens in San Francisco, this one somehow manages to stand out as even more incompetent than the rest. It takes on average 5 hours for them to process an inbound prescription. The follies continue as the pharmacy staff encounters additional delays of up to 40 minutes after you have been notified that your prescription is "ready for pickup". Save yourself a couple inconvenient delays and frustrating hours by avoiding this place like the plague.

Joe L., the pharmacist is such a wonderful guy and the whole staff at this pharmacy and great! It is always a pleasure coming here! The parking lot here also helps when you're in a hurry!

As a Nurse Practitioner, I have to say that the pharmacy staff here is excellent - especially Joe. They are knowledgable, helpful, and always willing to answer questions. But as an African American, I have had the worst experiences in this store. They have had me stopped by the police, and when I purchase items at the pharmacy counter single me out as I am leaving the store to see if I have stolen something. Being black doesn't make you a thief. I think this is something that should be obvious, but it something the managers of this store need to learn.

The service here is horrible. Store is horrible too. Everything is locked up and when you push the button for someone to come, forget it....no one comes. Last time I was there I pressed the button over and over. Then I walked to another area of store and there were 3 employees stocking shelfs and totally ignored the need to unlock. I will drive out of my way to go to CVS which doesn't treat their customers like criminals.

This is my neighborhood Walgreens, and I wish it could do better. My daughter's doctor called in a prescription for antibiotics on a Friday morning. Apparently, the pharmacy was out of the medicine. Although they had my number on file they did not call me. Instead, when I came by to pick it up at 6:45 pm, they informed me they didn't have it, nor did other Walgreens in the city. If they had just called me during the day on Friday to alert me, I could have called my daughter's doctor to have him prescribe an alternative. Instead, my daughter will have to go the weekend without the meds she needs. Sadly, this is not the first time the pharmacy has done a terrible job of communicating. They should take their trade more seriously. Terrible customer service.
