Having already wired some funds via the Wells Fargo app, my wife booked an appointment at this branch to transfer a larger sum (it seems only some branches offer appointments). They called ahead of her appointment and neglected to mention that transfers needed to be submitted by 2 PM to go through that day. Her appointment was at 4. Would have been nice if they'd mentioned that when they called, but not the end of the world, right?
However, the appointment itself began with the (male) Wells Fargo employee speaking down to my wife and telling her that the details of the wire transfer were "above her head". Ignoring that my wife is a) incredibly intelligent and b) works at a financial company herself, that kind of condescending language is never acceptable. The real kicker is that, after 45 minutes, he was unable to locate the bank using the SWIFT code my wife provided (again, she'd already used it to send a smaller sum) and pretty much put his hands up in the air, having both insulted her and completely wasted her time.
The wire transfer in question is our last step in completely divesting from Wells Fargo, a step we literally cannot wait to complete. If you're looking for a local institution that has great rates and fantastic customer service, we recommend SF Fire Credit Union.

I went to deposit check into my son's account but was turned down.
I immediately went to another Wells Fargo bank branch(Noriega st) and was able to deposit the money without any issues.
The branch manager is no help, and the tellers are no help either.
The only person who is helpful is a bank employee named "Chris".
I would never go to this branch without Chris.
Hi Tania,
Please give me your email address again.

Frequently closed on saturdays. Why? Twice in past month closed. The bank is worthless to me if I can't get access to my money.

Their notary, Nelson, doesn't know what he's doing. Told me a diploma could not be notarized due to "laws" and was outright angry and condescending when I pressed further. He refused me and continued to project how well versed he was with the notary rules. I went elsewhere to UPS nearby to get it done and the California Secretary of State Sacramento office took it no problem to get the notarized copy apostilled for international use. The agent from the Secretary of State I called on the phone even sighed when I told him about this encounter! This should not have happened.

This is the most unprofessional store by far. Everyone think to be entitled to show my account info to over 3 different people with the excuse that they needa supervisor on the transition. If that the case sure not have incompetent people at from . I'm closing my account from over 20 year for this. Last time a bank member looked at me like I did something wrong by asking for my money. Costumer services just bad ? don't forget you work for the people no the other way around. Recommend to go somewhere eles.

The employees here are rude and not friendly at all!!! I was parked in front of the bank in a public parking spot while I was taking a phone call. The call was taking awhile...maybe 20-25 mins. And one of the associates from the bank came out to check my parking meter (like literally hovering over it!!! And gave me a nasty look!! UMM EXCUSE ME!! Yah, I'll never set foot in this bank! RUDE!!!

I came in with my littler so he could open his first bank account with his "street money." ("Money I found on the ground", that's how he labeled his three Mason jars.) He's such a good little saver that over four years, he dutifully put all those found coins plus $5 bills for St. Paddy's, his birthday and a $100 bill for the day he lost **five teeth! (Before putting it under his pillow, I scraped glitter from a greeting card onto the bill, 'fairy dust' from the "Tooth Very's" wings, that's what he used to call the "tooth fairy.") Now that he's 12, it was time to show him how banks work and have him think of short term goals (a coveted Lego set) and long term goals (saving up for a European tour with other kids/adult chaperones). It's never too young to start good money habits. He's excited to make an occasional deposit and see his balance grow.
