I went to the new WFB on Chestnut Street today to deposit a check to my brother's account. I could hardly believe what a stark, negative, soulless place this is. All white, high ceilings, countless fluorescent lights. It looks like a hospital operating room. If I died and went to hell, it would look like this branch. ???

I'd popped into this branch once before, deterred by the parking ***## that is Chestnut Street. But to be honest, unless you're a business, who goes into banks much anymore? Well, I do to strong arm them into getting rolls of quarters for laundry. The pandemic-driven coin shortage has been a real drag. A manager walked over to our queue and asked if he could help anyone. I said I needed a teller to get quarters - and cash. "I can help you with that. And here's an ATM that handles higher denomination withdrawals, if you need that." I got the cash from their "fancy" ATM and (5) coveted rolls of quarters- FIVE! If you're a renter at the mercy of coin operated machines, you'll empathize with my gratitude. Hey, at least the machines are in my building, a necessary amenity. And drumroll, I discovered only today that this branch has a PARKING LOT and a drive-through ATM. Suddenly I like the Marina a little bit more.

Stopped in to get a withdrawal- can't believe the don't have sanitized pens vs dirty pens. So mane people coming in and out - everyone else can do it, why can't Wells Fargo??

The Chestnut St. Branch Is the best bank around! Certainly in the Bay Area. Everyone is friendly and very professional. After 7 years they've earned a fabulous review. From Alvin, the branch manager down to all the tellers. Great staff, willing to help on everything and extremely helpful on small and big problems. They always resolve them perfectly.. Thank you for great service during this pandemic. You make it look easy.

It's hard enough that the branch shortened their hours during the pandemic, but then I show up one minute before 4 PM yet two rude males were not kind enough to let me make a quick transaction. This is definitely not a branch that goes out of its way for customer service! You're better off banking with a different bank anyway because of Wells Fargo's outrageous fees and practices. They are a dishonest bank (like most are) and have extremely questionable policies made by executive management. Banking is a despicable industry and the greediest of all industries. Rent the movie "The Big Short" if you want to know what really occurs. It's one of the most important movies to understand and one of the most important ever made.

I've always had good experiences with the private bankers and the tellers have been just fine. I don't really care if someone is all smiles as long as they get the job done right. The free parking and drive-through ATMs make the location easy to use.

Asian guy who is working there was not friendly and he is rude. I believe he is one of the personal banker. Everytime I visit this location, he never smiles and greets. I think he is picking on customer. He only picks on looks wealthy customer. I came in today he just ignored me and walk away.
