If You want want to fix Wells Fargo, the Next Time You have an unauthorized charge from a Retailer, take Your Bank Statements and give them to the CEO of that Retailer and it will set them straight.

I am going to miss this branch when they close 2024. One of the few safe-deposit boxes left. I've been a customer for over 20 years at this branch. I watched many employees come and go from this branch. They always have 2.00 bills for me. It is nostalgic location. Many employees spoke different languages. I wanted to recruit some employees to work for me. It is across the street from the Federal Reserved of San Francisco.

I have been a customer of Wells Fargo for many years...I had to go to this office because my eldest sister passed away and she had a safety deposit box. Of course we had to complete all the legal work. I made an appointment with banker (Sanjeev Kumar) to close out the box to drive up to San Francisco later in the week. I was very happy that because we had the keys and the paperwork, we were able to accomplish what we needed in less than an hour. I read all of the negative reviews but I personally have never experienced poor treatment. I've been banking with them for many years but my usual bank is located down the peninsula. This bank has been a family bank for over 30 years without any issues.

Customer service at Wells Fargo is non-existent. For over 20 years, they earned thousands of dollars from my accounts since they pay such low interest rates and charge such high fees. In spite of that, no matter how many times I call any WF branch in SF, no one ever answers the phone. Several times, I tried to set up an appointment online, but each time I wound up wasting 30 minutes or more only to find out that no appointments were available at any of their branches, ever. A few days ago, I finally walked to about 6 different branches to get some help, waited in line at each location, and every one told me I had to set up an appointment to talk to a banker. They wanted me to leave my phone number so someone could call me back to set up an appointment. The only upside to all of this is that it finally motivated me to close all 5 of my accounts at WF and move my money to where I can earn much higher interest rates and pay lower fees.

It is impossible for them to attend to you and solve a problem that has been going on for months. You call and they transfer you from one department to the other, and so on for hours, no one knows anything and it's always the other department.

I have been a WFB customer for decades and have had the worst experience for that long. I am held hostage because they hold my mortgage - thank goodness I'm almost done with them!! My latest experience: I have a fire claim and their process is ridiculous with releasing funds to pay my contractor - the inspector has to come out (it takes 1 - 2 weeks); once the inspector comes out, it takes another week for the WFB agent to call me to tell me they will release more funds, but not all of the funds. With the amount of time for this process to take its course, I am already further along with construction and in need of more funds. Now I have to wait another week for another inspection and likely another 2 - 3 weeks before a WFB agent calls me to tell me they will release more funds... and by the way, none of this process can be handled online. It's not even the banks money. I can go on about all of the other shenanigans with their practices over the years, but I will not. Until my mortgage commitment is done - I will NEVER bank with them ever!! Talk about sensitivity to those going through a loss.

I called and schedule an appointment, Sanjiv was very polite and helpful on the phone. We had an appointment today at 2:30. He was already waiting for me, he processed my request with perfection and very professional. He knew I had to return to my work so he tried everything he could to speed up to accommodate me. It was a great experience, this location is beautiful. Sanjiv, thank you!

If I could leave this bank 0 stars, I would! These people are completely rude and arrogant! All they want to do is steal your money and keep it. I received financing for furniture through Wells Fargo bank. Since the couch I received was faulty, I ended up returning my couch, and I was authorized a full refund. Since the couch was returned, I was told not to pay anything else. I was charged by this bank a $29 fee, even though the couch was returned already. Why the heck would I make my monthly payment for something I no longer have? Even though the couch was picked up, they charged me a $29 fee for not making a payment on a couch I no longer had. And they took that out of the money that they owed me that I already made payments on previously. When I called them, they were rude and not caring and they are still going to charge me the $29 fee. WARNING: Do not finance any furniture with Wells Fargo! Terrible bank!!

Oh gosh. What a pain.My insurance company has sent two refund checks directly to Wells Fargo (since they own the escrow account for my loan) on January 2021 and July 2021. Both of them were cashed, and none of the transactions appeared on my escrow account. I've been in contact with Wells Fargo since February this year to understand what went wrong.First answer I was given by a representative left me speechless: "I don't know how I can help, you should check with your insurance company, bye." Thankfully, I persevered until a bit of research was made within their department, but without success. After months of silence, I decided to reach out to my primary contact who gave me his direct line. Unfortunately, he is probably not working for Wells Fargo anymore (it's been two weeks that my calls are sent directly to voicemail), and no one in Wells Fargo have any reference to any of the research he's done. Last time I heard from him was in July when he mentioned that Wells Fargo couldn't find any account where the checks had been cashed and that Corporate would refund me directly. 4 months later and still nothing...I'm placing calls every week and I'm getting new case numbers or new work-order references that lead to nowhere. I've provided all the evidence multiple times and still nothing.I'm really wondering in which pockets this money is going. It's something really crazy for such a large institution to have cases like this happening multiple times. My two cents: if you're choosing Wells Fargo for your finance needs, avoid their escrow accounts at any cost.

I'm a Chase & Charles Schwab customer. My family has accounts at Wells Fargo. 1) non account holders can't deposit cash (even a tiny amount) in their relatives accounts, and 2) certain transactions require a banker's help, but when you call the branch they don't answer the phone (to schedule an appt) abs when you do walk-in, they don't have bankers available Horrible customer experience... Suggest folks go to Schwab! No minimum balance/no account fees/no non-Schwab ATM withdrawal fees...
