My brother banks with Wells. This is the most convenient location for me to help him with transactions, mainly deposits. From late March 2020 until late summer that year, Wells closed a large number of branches throughout the City. My coworker who lives in the East Bay often went to branches close to her home, likely more logistically convenient with drive up access as well as a parking lot. Banking in Chinatown, North Beach, and the Financial District can be challenging for that reason, call it the SF lifestyle. After running another errand to the neighborhood post office a little more than a block away, I stopped here to make a deposit. There were three people (two parties) ahead of me so the wait was not very long. As I stood in line, I couldn't help but let my wandering eyes roam and notice the Chinatown mural next to me ( It is a nice historic piece and, though the words were small for the legend ( for this mural, I made sure to take a photo of both so I could admire it when I got home. There was only one teller window open, likely because it was around noon. Again, it was not a long wait. By the time I reached the head of the line, there were three other people standing behind me in line. All told, I was in and out of the bank in about ten minutes. It was also nice to see this branch celebrate the neighborhood's community roots with the mural instead of the typical stagecoach theme that's long been Wells Fargo's symbol.

My first time going to this branch/China town. I go in, I'm standing in line, probably the 5th or 6th person. This lady asked a couple of people as she's walking down the line, what type of transaction they're doing, they tell her.... She gets to me and ask me, I told her, I was going to get cashiers checks. She says, we'll it's the day after the holiday and it's lunch time.... I was confused. I'm like and? She repeated it, I'm like okay.... It's like she was inviting me to leave the bank because it could be some what of a wait. I've noticed the banks in China town don't seem to think non Chinese people should be banking there. I stood in line for less than 10 minutes, handled my business and left. I'm not sure why she thought it was necessary to tell me that????

I am not happy about the service I received recently because my father's account got charge over $100 since opening! My dad is about 65 years old, so he has the senior discount in any Bank for no monthly fee charges as long as his account maintains $300. My dad open an account in Wells Fargo with $300. However few months later, his bank account has been charged $25 monthly, and only about $190 left in the account. I found out this from his statements, so I went to the bank right away and asked the clerk working in the bank to find out the reson. But the person who helped me said his manager wasn't there, and he would call me on the next day when he asked his manager tomorrow. On this he next day, I waited for the whole day until 5:00pm I still haven't received any phone calls. The bank is close at 6:00pm, I knew I couldn't wait anymore, so I called in the bank to speak to the person, but someone just took a very brief message and would have that person to call me back in 15 min. 30 min after, I still hadn't received any replies, I called in again to the bank and wanted to speak that person, all I got was another person passing the message from me to him, and transferred the message from that person back to me! Wow, that was really rude and irritating! That guy promised me would call me on the next day, and he broke his promise! He doesn't care about the customers at all! What does his job do in the bank? He ignored me twice, not answering my calls! I overheard their conversations throught the phone because their store manager wasn't there!!!! I don't trust it at all! They told me their manager wasn't there since Wednesday, and not sure when she will be back to work! Seriously! No manager in charge the entire store? Overall, I am very very disappointed their services! They messed up my dad's account, they should fix for him!!!! Poor customer service!
