Wells Fargo is a wonderful place if you plan to be ripped off from your money and lied to!
I made a Way2Save savings account with this specific bank branch and the banker (Francisco Cortes) created my account which required me to hold $25,000 to be eligible for their $525 bonus after 90 days had passed with the funds in the account. There are two options that occurred in this situation...either there was malicious intent and Francisco Cortes knew I was ineligible due to having a previous savings account from years ago and decided to ignore it and make the account without stating my ineligibility...or he was not aware of this which was pure negligence on his part and made my account. Either option is extremely unprofessional and goes to show who I entrusted my funds with.
When the time came I looked at my balance and noticed that no additional funds were added. After contacting the bank and being given the run around by multiple phone staff I was able to finally have an investigation done. That investigation was short lived with a rep stating that they could not do anything and that I would still not be eligible for the bonus even though the bank documents which I looked at in my hands stated eligibility.
So for 90 days I held $25,000 with Wells Fargo that I could have used to pay bills or make investments and what I got in return was 99 cents...not even a full dollar.
Once again...if you want to be ripped off from your funds and lied directly to your face. This is the perfect bank for you!

WORST BANK EVER. They had changed a legal agreement back in 2018 regarding a loan WITHOUT my consent. I was never contacted in regards to this update they did. I had called headquarters and reported the issue on a recorded line. I had written proof, emails, calls, etc to back me up. The Wells Fargo headquarters just said they, "didn't recall the update and expected me to honor their recent change in agreement." They said nothing about illegally "updating" terms to an agreement. The balance is nearly paid but if it weren't, I can't image the amount of shady business practices that go on at Wells Fargo as a whole company. I know now why they are always in the news.

Long wait .. unacceptable.. more people greeting you at the door then actually people working .. this whole bank needs to take their work more seriously then just talking n doing nothing to help the line ..! Unacceptable for the brand ..

I usually go in weekly to bank for my job. And without exception, *EVERY* person in there has been very kind and caring.

I have contacted Wells Fargo a total of six times trying to redeem a Wells Fargo CD in its grace period to my Wells Fargo Checking account. The first three times I sent a secure email and every response was the same..."Go here to get a form that has to be notarized so you can take your CD OUT OF ITS GRACE PERIOD" My message clearly said I was IN THE GRACE PERIOD so I gave up because no one is obviously reading the whole email message. So I call and after 25 minutes on hold I finally speak to someone. They ask for all the information and I explain my situation. The rep asked if I could be put on a brief hold so he could speak to his supervisor" 30 minutes on hold....The rep comes back and tells me he can't help me but will transfer me to the right department. I wait on hold again...The automated message tells me I have reached The US Treasury Department. ARE YOU KIDDING ME.... I call Wells Fargo AGAIN another 20 minute wait. I explain my request again...She asks me to hold on and comes back in 15 minutes and says I'm all set. Great! NO! It's been 7 days and the CD is still active on my account and the money was not transferred to my checking account. I call back for the third time 7 days later. Wait 30 minutes...Talk to a rep who says can I put you on hold I have to talk to my supervisor. Another 15 minutes goes by and she comes back and tells me it has not been transferred and the department that handles this just left (3pm on Saturday). and asks can you call back Monday?
I have never seen a more incompetent, systemically dysfunctional company in my life. You should be embarrassed. If I treated my customers this way I would be fired on the spot. The other irony is you can easily setup a CD online but there is no way to deposit the funds when they come due...Even to a Wells Fargo checking/savings/account. Ridicules...Don't bank here.

Crooks, thieves and unethical bank. Look them up on Better Business they have ONE star rating for crime corruption and lost lawsuits. The VA used them for my home loan and it is one scam after another. Auto payments that they take out of my acct, they still try and sneak in Late charges. Everyone escrow account needs more money so they steal from my payment so it extends the loan so they can get more interest over time. The big lie and scam is you are forced to keep an escrow acct and the bank gets to use that money but they don't have to pay you interest. It is mandatory forced money they steal from you and use at their will. Then when your loan is paid off they keep that money. What a rip off company. I wish someone would start a Class Action suit against these crooks. File complaints with BBB and Attorney General, if enough people calls these crooks out, maybe someone will do something.

This was a huge Wells Fargo that closed down. All that unused space wasn't really necessary so their new space across the space is much more modern and efficient. The staff here was alright.

Wells Fargo Bank is one of the worst banks to bank with. They let the consumers take advantage of their customers, they hand visa credit cards/ATM card out and don't adhere to the regulations that VISA send them each year. I filed a disputed with Wells Fargo and they told that they have no recourse to help when I pointed out the regulations in the VISA regs. book 111.5.2 Use of Compelling Evidence An Acquirer may submit Compelling Evidence with a Dispute Response or pre-Arbitration attempt, as follows: Item # Allowable Compelling Evidence1 Applicable Dispute Condition 10.4 (Other Fraud - Card-Absent Environment) 13.1 Merchandise/Services Not Received 1 Evidence, such as photographs or emails, to prove a link between the person receiving the merchandise or services and the Cardholder, or to prove that the Cardholder disputing the charge. X so don't you are screwed when a merchants does less then great service Wells Fargo don't want to do right by you. I think people should rethink banking with them.

Fancy bank in an old building but they wouldn't exchange my $20 that an ATM spewed out in a broken manner. I was told that ANY bank would reimburse this slightly damaged bill because both EB numbers are on both side of the bill... See photo. But the manager at this particular bank wouldn't agree to help fix my misfortunes. It was not my fault, it was an ATM at SFO airport. Thanks for no help, Wells Fargo. I had to walk across the street and suffer through a long wait line at the Bank of America but it's a good sign that more people choose to do business with BOA over the dead emptiness of WF. I've never liked WF - they had some sketchy issues where they screwed their customers over on mortgage loans - anyway, my experience here was very poor. BOA across the street fixed my problem for me without a problem although I did have to wait a lot longer in line.
