"As a frequent customer with over three accounts at Wells Fargo, I typically schedule appointments with a banker at the 22nd Street branch. However, on this occasion, I booked an appointment at the 16th Street branch. The service I received was subpar; despite my scheduled appointment for 10:30 AM, I wasn't attended to until I approached staff members to remind them. After a 30-minute wait, Mr. Miguel Batamo finally assisted me, but his demeanor was brusque and he didn't acknowledge the delay. His first question upon approaching me was 'What do you need?' without any introductory pleasantries. Additionally, when I realized I had forgotten my passport, Mr. Miguel abruptly dismissed me, stating he couldn't assist without it and refused to reschedule my appointment. It's disappointing that despite being an experienced banker, Mr. Miguel lacked basic courtesy and customer service skills. I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience at Wells Fargo."

Just drove from the worst wellsFargo on mission street to the now worst Wells Fargo on 16th street that doesn’t open on time LOL. It’s 9:17 and their security guards and staff are standing at the entrance lol. WELLS FARGO IS A JOKE, GO GET A CHASE ACCOUNT ITS MUCH EASIER AND LESS STRESSFUL AND THE WORKERS ACTUALLY WANNA WORK.

Tellers are uninformed, had me running back and forth because they don't know how to open a joint account with someone from another state. Have made multiple attempts to finish this on my lunch break, yet theyhave NEVER had a teller available. Worst branch.

I will never step foot in another Wells Fargo. And I will definitely let anyone know that even thinks about opening a account with them how my experience was. I was with Wells Fargo for over 7 years never had an issue with New account was closed out I called again and spoke to someone and they told me that I had requested the account to be closed I stated why would I ask for my new account to be closed if I just went in and had new checks and crthem up until this past week when I had A scam on my account I called to try to report it 1st I called the fraud department and was told they could not open a case until the deposits were not pending. I tried to explain to him that that could take 2 to 3 days and the person would be able to get my money out of the bank if they had access to make deposits he told me there was nothing he could do for me I hung up and called and spoke to someone else got a woman that didn't know her butt from a hole in the ground and tried to explain to her what I wanted done she closed my account out and moved all of my new stuff to a new account along with the fraudulent stuff I tried to explain to her that what was the whole purpose of opening up a new account if she was going to move all the old stuff and The fraud over to the new account I called back later that night got someone else and got the count straightened out or I soon I thought I had my user name and password changed so that way the person could not get into the new account thought it was all straightened out went into the branch Saturday got some temporary checks and got my new debit card Monday I get up and my New account had been closed out I called again and she stated that I requested my account to be closed I said why would I close my new account out if I just went and got new checks and debit card I was told that she put a request in to reactivate my account because it was closed due to bank error Told it would not open up within 3 business days here I am 3 days later and it's not open yet so I called again sit on the phone for 2 and a 1/2 hours Spoke to 7 different people and come to the end and I was told that they decided to close the account out due to the activity to my account With no explanation I was not told any of this the whole entire week that I had spoke to one I was told that I could open up a new account or come into the branch I will never step foot in that screwed up place ever again beware do not if you don't want yourself screwed up very incompetent people

This branch needs new management I have never experience such slow service and rude employees in other Wells fargo branches. Specifically a teller by the name Jacqueline I was in line for 15mins and when I approached her window she closed her window without explaining. A simple sorry sir I have to do another job would've suffice, instead I have to wait another 15mins for another teller to help me. I ask her why she couldn't just help me she said yelling if you don't like it go to another branch I'm not going to help you and all I needed was to change currency that would've taken less than 5 mins. I will be closing my 10 year account This is not the first time I have experienced this problem at this location never wrote a review hoping they would make changes, but apparently not.

I am really disappointed with the customer services I have received today after being a member with Wells Fargo since 2017. I called on September 21st to dispute a payment to Toyota for $660.00 I have initiated during the weekend then I had an accident and my car was totaled, tried to contact the merchant and they replied back to me on September 21st that payment is still pending can't be canceled. Wells Fargo agent has placed stop payment and submit the claim and informed me that I will be receiving a partial credit in to my account and claim will be taking 10 business days. Until Today 09/27/22 I have not receive an update in an email and to credit into my account I called back in and I was transferred to claims by the contact center and Matt from Claims has answered my call. He listened to my matter and then kept me on mute hold for about 10 minutes to come back to me and tell me that my claim was denied when I asked the reason he said you should have place a stop payment before it get posted. My question is when I should contact if my payment was done during weekend and I was waiting for the merchant to reply. I explained to Matt and he was so cold and didn't really try to help. I asked him to transfer me to the manager or a supervisor who can do anything about this. He kept me on hold for 15 minutes telling me that someone from the escalation team will take my call and again he put me on a another 5 minutes hold. When I told him why you kept me for so much hold. His response was (I work from home and I don't know how many people are in the office today) with high volume. Finally I was able to speak with DeeDee who was saying same thing and kept repeating same thing over and over. I explained to her that I made the payment on the weekend and payment was posted on 19th first working date after the weekend. When do I cancel she kept saying before that. When???????? I told her my merchant responded back same date I contacted the bank. She kept saying same thing. That's really bad!!! I asked for supervisor they didn't care they underestimated my situation and didn't really show any kind of sympathy even after I said I had an accident and I lost my car and I don't have money. The manager or the supervisor didn't bother to speak with me through I asked specifically to speak to either one of them who can solve or has more power. They immediately put me on the escalation line. All I needed is someone from the bank to help me on my first issue I had and no one really care. That unfortunate makes me decide to close my account with wells Fargo and my family too.

I stayed with them when they dealt with the fraud situation around 2012, after they stole money from all of their clients and enrolled them in fraudulent insurance scams (which was honestly the first red flag). I stayed with them after I noticed they overcharged my card with fees that did that apply multiple times (the second red flag). However, today, I finally just closed my accounts. I was on the phone with them for an hour trying to see to remove my information from ApplePay, and after being transferred 5 times, the last person I spoke to who was supposed to be a Manager of some sort, hung up on me. Final straw. Can't trust them with my money or the security of it. After 10 years of service with them; will never come back.

MARIA OCHOA IS THE RUDEST EMPLOYEE AT WELLS FARGO BANK ON MISSION STREET AT 22nd Street. I have come into this branch 3 times trying to open a simple checking account and she has made it the most agonizing, stressful and extremely unpleasant experience! I ended up having to wait a month to get my appointment and when I arrived she treated me like I was nobody important and spoke to me like I was her little *#^ch piñata that she failed miserably at cracking open because she knew it was prettier than....its apparent that she either hates gay people or hates her job because she looks, acts and wreaks of misery and unhappiness.. She told me I should try another branch and that it takes a full hour to open an account. Not sure why i even made an appointment as she is making me wait. Ive never been so insulted, mistreated and unwelcome in a business before in my life. WELLS FARGO IS THE WORST BANK ON EARTH and Maria is proof that this bank does not care about people and does not care about how awful and nasty their bankers are. Maria Ochoa should not speak with customers and she should not work in a bank! She is the worst on all levels!
