Awesome provider. So happy to finally ditch Xfinity! I used to have ATT and I missed having symmetrical bandwidth. Installers were great. Gigabit DL is accurate, Upload is a little slower but it's a fantastic improvement (~600Mb/s). Only downside is no IPv6 support (in my area at least).

Overall my internet is lightning fast best I have seen in some time I was hesitant to buy it because I have had problems with people linking and mirroring my device and remotely sabotaging my system through Bluetooth and in a 25 story building there's a lot of risk in that regard so I'm giving it my best shot to stop think and learn how to properly use Google home and make sure I'm not hacked and hopefully with the help of Google staff get rid of the unwanted guests I have been dealing with 3byears I can't shake these people I'm under seige and I'm trying to learn and build the safe web I deserve

Useful for recreational use, but it goes down almost every day or becomes so slow it’s unusable, often in the middle of a work call, so I’m unable to work from home.

I recently switched to webpass from xfinity and that seems to have been a big mistake. Service goes down every time it rains sometimes for more than a day. Customer service seems unable to provide updates. Shockingly poor service for a google product.

Over the past few months web passed has done nothing but disappoint. In fewer than two weeks we had two outages longer than 12 hours. Online customer service is usually pretty responsive, but they're excuse was unsatisfactory. Apparently a PG&e power failure on a local residential building knocked out service for hundreds of users in my very modern complex. After the second 12-hour outage, I informed web pass customer service that I would be prorating my next bill to compensate for my need to sign up for an emergency internet service during their outages. The customer service agent redirected me to their terms of service indicating that they are under no obligation to compensate me for prolonged outages. During the webpass outages, AT&t, Xfinity (The single worst utility provider on the plan) and the newcomer monkey brains was up and running. This afternoon I discontinued my web pass service and started a new lower cost same speed service with another provider.

6 months in and thankfully still going strong! Happy to report network speed and uptime has been consistent for my area of SF (SOMA/Southbeach). Haven't had issues working from home, streaming tv/movies on multiple devices and zoom calls throughout the day. Very disappointing. After being a customer for 9 years, they would not grandfather in my existing plan, and increased my bill by over $100, stating that I was passed the date to do so , even though I tried several times weeks ago .

Over 26 hours of outage and zero credit back. Horrible customer service where no one knows what is going on. Do not use this service or lack of service!!!!

A note about Adam and Doug, the two service technicians who went above and beyond to get us upgraded to the new WebPass high-speed internet service now available in San Francisco where we live in a condo in North Beach. Our install wasn't easy due to unusual issues they encountered with the coaxial cable that had been installed years ago in our unit, but they cheerfully persevered and never gave up in their troubleshooting efforts. After some time, success! They finally got us set up and our connection and speed greatly improved! Adam and Doug were both professional, knowledgeable, and nice to be around. Thanks to them both for their tenacity and great customer service!(Side note: Before deciding to upgrade our existing WebPass to high-speed internet we had considered switching from WebPass to Xfinity High Speed Internet, but the service tech that came to set it up took a look at our coaxial cable connection and said that it wasn't possible because someone had pulled it out and it would have to be reinstalled!)

I’d say take your money somewhere else. I’ve had the service for a year now and its outages are a lot more frequent than any other provider I’ve used.Their current outage is going in 3rd day straight. What’s the point of paying the full bill when there are days we can’t even use it? Even when it isn’t an official outage, there are a lot of smaller breaks in service, and overall a sense of instability. Their customer service chat agents take forever to respond to you, so it’s not always helpful. I haven’t tried calling but I don’t see the point of calling anyway.

I've had Webpass for a few years now, but recently the Internet has been dropping constantly. They rarely offer an explanation why. I will update this low rating once Webpass / Google Fiber figures this out.

I recently needed a webpass tech to come help move my internet from my old unit into my new one. Douglass helped me out and went above and beyond to make sure my equipment would work well with high internet speeds. He was speedy and knew what he was doing to get things working right. He also was very nice to my Cat :)
