Really good finds here! Some stuff was really overpriced (used but 80% the price of a new item) but found some good stuff too!

This place is truly terrible. All of their clothes are in terrible condition. But you bring them anything good to sale and they will lowball you and be very condescending. Stay away!!

I've sold here mostly and rarely buy but I have a great success on offloading things I no longer use or see value in. The staff is stylish, friendly and efficient.
You have to know what they are buying for season and style wise. Having designer labels definitely helps and if they have comparable items in regards to pricing, aesthetic and authentication.
Overall no qualms or complaints. I'm happy Wasteland is still around as it's quintessential SF and was here even before the mainstream resale spotlight you see everywhere.

I have been visiting this store for months and several times I have validated that to buy here is just as expensive as buying new pieces. Nowadays almost 50% of what they have is literally trash fast fashion.
NEVER coming back.

Used to be good for shopping and selling clothes. This place is pretty whack now. They only buy trendy/designer stuff with labels (lame). Bring your cool stuff to sell at ReLove.

Wasteland SF has gone down in quality selections since 2020. I've been a customer and seller at Wasteland of various locations for many years. I used to be able to sell, get paid a decent amount and do some shopping. Recently, this Wasteland location hasn't had much to offer. Their vintage and designer section lacks. There's always a bunch of zara basics, which I don't mind, but tons of pieces with makeup stains in the women's section. They over charge for items that are clearly non-wearable or even dry rotted. I've seen fake vintage reprints that were way overpriced. The buyers almost never know what they're looking at. Most of them are new and don't thoroughly inspect clothing for details, let alone know the difference between vintage, retro, and reprints. This location seems so just focus on current trends and designer instead of true vintage and quality picks.

This store is def worth stopping in. You may get lucky as with any thrift/resale store. I think that they definitely have a lot of items. So many of everything and various sizes which was great. My cons for this location and the reason for the rating is mainly the price to quality ratio. While there are many beautiful designer pieces, I noticed that many were extremely damaged. There's no way I'm going to pay $150 for a dress with holes, snags, and/or rips $300 or a pair of shoes with huge noticeable black scuffs. I know the allure is designer but if it's not in good condition why put it out or not account for that in the price. Lastly, I asked about a For Love and Lemons gown today and was told it wasn't for sale! Lol what store would do that?! It's a store for buying not a museum so if you're enticing ppl to come in to buy with items in the display window they should be for sale since that may be the reason someone stopped in! Worth a stop but you may not find anything that's worth it.

Had the most traumatic experience with one of their workers, Kayla, extremely unprofessional. I would suggest management reconsider having someone that has a terrible demeanor on their team I will never do business here again.

The staff was accommodating to me & very helpful. I was selling and they told me what they were accepting + explaining to me why they passed on the items not purchased. I browsed the store somewhat. What I did see was a good variety of luxury items as well as vintage clothing. I saw a Louis Vuitton duffle bag for around $600. It looked used but not beaten up so not sure if that is a deal because I am not an expert but overall it appeared to be a good deal. When selling you get 30% of what they would sell it for. Yes I could have sold it online but I wanted to avoid the aggravation + trouble of endless communication of meeting people which can take all day so it was worth selling it to Wasteland. Time is money !

Excellent selection of clothes but the organization is poor — dresses sizes mostly not grouped together and frequently not marked
