Pharmacy guy hung up on my face when I was on a call with him!?

They need to take turns at lunch. Closed from 1:30 to 2 PM? People get off lunch to come here. Makes no sense that the pharmacy closes mid day. Police station tells me to dispose of medication here, and the pharmacy tells me to go back to the police station.

Pharmacy really disorganized

If I could give zero stars, I would. The pharmacy filled my child's prescription with Augmentin (Amoxclav) instead of Amoxicillin. I didn't notice the name was different until after I'd already given my child the first dose. Imby the time I realized the error the pharmacy was closed. I called Walgreens on 40th and Taraval and the pharmacist confirmed that I was given the wrong medication. They were able to get me the corrected fill at 40th & Taraval. Luckily the mistake wasn't a terribly dangerous one, but I'll never trust this pharmacy again.

I was there around 6pm on 9/5/2023. I saw a Chinese man who was wearing a black sweat jacket. he was stealing thing on the shelf and hide them in his jacket. I told the staffs but they did not go after him. Just let him walk out.

This is for the pharmacy and specifically for the pharmacist on the Tuesday afternoon shift 12/6/22.As a prescribing provider 20 minute holds are not unheard of but not being able to finally call in a prescription over the phone when there is no electronic medical records/e-pharmacy access is unacceptable. Rite-aid, cvs, Safeway and others allow it but per this pharmacist, apparently, Walgreens doesn't permit this. Hopefully this was an isolated incident of the worse pharmacist experience ever and will never happen, again.Thankfully, it's not a problem to direct patients to other more user friendly pharmacies.

Did not have a pleasant experience with the pharmacy. I called with a simple question and was on hold for a while. It sounded like someone picked up the phone a few times without saying anything (I could hear background noise) and then placed the call back on hold automatically. This happened repeatedly as I waited. I didn't have a problem waiting, but it was odd. When someone finally picked up the phone, they answered in a very curt, impatient manner. After I said thanks, they just hung up without a word. There was absolutely no attempt at customer service.

This location is small but you get what you need and get out! And they will have more inventory on certain items. Like today, they had more cough drops than the location on San Bruno Ave. I was happy and got 2 more bags!

Highway robbery. Needed a 9v battery and expected to pay more for the convinence of shopping at this Walgreens. The actual price at the store was higher than what's shown on the Walgreens app. Furthermore, the price is 50% higher than Target. I will drive the extra mile next time to avoid this place.

I went here for my Diabetes Prescription. I dropped it off on Friday and the guy (Pharmacy Manager I believe) told me it had to be ordered and it would be there and available for pick up anytime after 3 on Monday. Being I was in vacay, with family, I called ahead of them and told it was ready. I got there Monday right at 3pm. Well, it hasn't been delivered, wasn't there and I couldn't pick up. Mind you, I drove 45 min to be there. They called around and another Walgreens had it in stock...25 min away. NEVER ONE TIME did I get an apology from anyone behind the counter for the screw up. I was so bummed and in tears as it took 1/2 day planning and driving and they could have cared less. NEVER GO TO THIS WALGREENS for a prescription!!! Someone was in front of me in line and they screwed up hers too! No wonder it gets two stars but really, doesn't deserve any.

A convenient place for students to buy office supplies and anything of convenience that they also might want.

Most of the employees here are very nice. I wish I could leave a separate review for the pharmacy staff, there's one horrible woman there (older Asian woman, I think she's a pharmacist) who should not have any interaction with people. She yells at everyone no matter how politely you speak with her. Inexcusable.

The worst costumer service ever hung up on my face as I’m asking a question.

The pharmacy team will not offer any help, if you do not have insurance. They have tools that can help people afford their medications but they refuse to offer any advice that would help their customers. The customer needs to know what to do and won't get any advice that could save them a lot of money. It's very sad.

This review is for the pharmacy located in this location. Right before Thanksgiving 2021, my dad had a heart attack and had to stay in the ICU for several days. Upon discharge, he was prescribed 6 different medications. On the same day, we went to the pharmacy at this location to pick up the medication. We showed me 15 mins before closing and was only able to pick up 1 out of 6 medications. I asked the pharmacist when the rest will be ready and she simply said to check back next week. I called the cardiologist at UCSF that helped my dad and she was shocked that the pharmacist just brushed us away and didn't try to send the prescription to another location. The cardiologist said the pharmacist should of known these medications are urgent and can't be delayed. Today (1/6/22), we had a check up with a cardiologist and switched one of my dad's medications. I called the pharmacist to check what time the medication will be ready, especially since my last experience didn't go so well. The lady said "before 7". So I asked, "If I show up at 6:45pm, it'll be ready?" And that's when she started giving me attitude and saying "come early, don't come last minute!" (In a very gross and disrespectful tone.) I'm like... okay, well, 6:45 is before 7 and it doesn't take 15 mins to pick up a single prescription. I understand they want to close and go home, but she didn't technically give me a time for when the medication will be ready so I didn't want to sit in my car and wait. Then the conversation continued with me asking "okay, what time can I show up so it's ready?" And she cut me off mid sentence and kept saying "come early" and finally she said in about 40 mins. It was just such a pain to get an answer and the communication and service was horrible.
