Convenient location if you're in the Financial District. Good selection of over the counter drugs and sundry items. Pretty much like every chain drugstore I've been to...nothing terribly exciting or wonderful to report.

There are some personal cosmetics, daily necessities, snacks, beauty supplies, and pharmacies sold. But the store was empty, there were no customers, there was only one guard and a cashier. But now we can open a store in downtown San Francisco, which is great.

I'll just put it this way: you are not getting help. That's the version that fits several of the locations around here all at once.

Best pharmacy I've been to. Very nice and competent staff.

I called Walgreens to get a prescription filled. They said their supplier had it on backorder. Walgreens does not have a backup supplier. My insurance only covers the generic. Walgreens takes no responsibility for this failure to have adequate suppliers to provide prescription medications, leaving the patient to either incur exorbitant costs for out of pocket expenses, or going without medication. Pathetic.

Whoa! Just got my Covid booster here. Summary of experience: wham, bam, thank you, ma’m. I was in and out of there pretty fast, but absolutely no “sit down for 15 minutes, let’s see how you’re doing” consideration that one normally gets. If you want a vaccine and are in a hurry, get it here. If you want to be cared for by a considerate professional, go to Bay and Columbus.

As far as Walgreens in SF go, this one is pretty nice and I'm glad it's still open. It's clean, safe, and they have a pretty decent selection.

I am shocked to see such low rating for this Walgreens, located on Pine & Montgomery. I had THE BEST experience today--I am sick with SOMETHING and you know how nowadays the worry is that it's COVID. So I was asking someone at the pharmacy what the word "Antigen" meant and instead of just answering my question and letting me browse endlessly, the lady says "Let's see if that test is covered by your insurance". Nobody ever offered to check that for me anywhere!! She (her name is Jonelyn) recommended a better brand of test and it was covered by insurance, so instead of $23 I probably paid $4. As she was ringing me up, she says "You should think of getting your flu shot. Come back when you have more time, we can do it on your lunch break". Have you ever had such a customer service anywhere? I haven't. In my state of concern whether I got COVID, I wasn't even thinking of how to save money or prevent future illness, but somebody at Walgreens was! I am switching my prescriptions to THIS pharmacy! Thank you so much for having such fantastic employees!

Rude cashiers. One old lady wore her mask where her nose and part of her mouth was exposed. She coughed all over the items at checkout. Ughhh. Rude and unpleasant.

Old white woman quite rude to customers. To top if off, she wore her mask where her nose and part of her mouth was exposed. She coughed all over the items at checkout. Ughhh. Rude and unpleasant.

Corporate should look into this location. The staff here is shady and rude. I saw a corpulent, white, middle age female employee, who is commonly there, speak down to a customer who was trying to pay for something, and insulted the way she looked financially. Just awful. There is also a very jumpy and hyper Asian male who works here, who never will accept your Walgreens points. I have tried, on multiple occasions, personally, to buy items on their shelves, for them to not sell it to me, because it was marked down. They always tell me, that the display price is a mistake. And therefore I can't sell you the items, even though they put them on display for sell. They never accept the points system/coupons that Walgreens gives you, for being a customer and shopping at their stores. They always have an excuse as to why they can't look it up in their system to accept, that day. So my points always accumulate, because they never will let me use the them. I also saw the same female employee, not allow certain customers in their store. It's a Walgreens. But allowed me and others in. Seems odd. Also, worth nothing, this specific location has inflated prices. I notice the same items at Walgreens locations near them, for some reason are cheaper. No idea why. If your a tourist visiting, avoid this location.

Just a quick shoutout to John. I came here for something to drink with my overpriced salad i purchased for lunch. Line was about 6patrons lomg. I had the honor of being in Johns register. I'm not sure if he recognized me, but greeted me "long time no see, welcome back" already an A in my books. My transaction took about 2 minutes to complete, but he made me feel like im here regularly. Edited to add: this was in my drafts and I have no idea how long this has been in here.

UNSAFE LOCATION. There is a longtime employee of this Walgreens--late 40s, brunette, Caucasian--who does not wear her mask while walking around the store. The last time I walked in, she had just let out a giant sneeze all while her mask hanging off her chin. Nose and mouth completely uncovered. The time before that, she was chatting with another employee with her mask hanging off her chin. Nose and mouth uncovered. I imagine it's because the location is not busy these days (financial district), and she doesn't feel pressure to comply with state and county mandates. Still very concerning for a national chain pharmacy. The store and its management needs to revisit health & safety protocol with employees.

I keep forgetting to review this Walgreens location--so I will do so now. I have been shopping at this store on a fairly regular basis since 2006. It may not be a very large store, but it is always well stocked, organized, the staff are friendly and it opens at 7am. I usually come here on my way home after work or when I am in this area on Saturday. It is very convenient to have a Walgreens in this part of the Financial District when I need to buy some snacks or miscellaneous household items.
