Rude and abrupt pharmacist. Not just once , many times

Wow!! The female pharmacist was very rude to me. All I asked was clarification about a prescription, told me that my doctor needed to clarify, and hung up on me. I didn’t even have the chance for a follow up question. I’m so disappointed with their customer service.

Went in to get some candy that was on sale. Got overcharged for it because one of the products was not labeled as on sale despite it having the same sticker label there. Got charged twice as much as it was on sale. Tired to make it right and ask for help with this. Got one dollar back for my troubles. Does not feel good to be ripped off like this, even if the cashier seemed like a nice lady. Please mark your items on sale properly so shit like this doesn't happen to other people.

Jack, the pharmacy technician, is HELLA RUDE. If you're in a good mood, he'll turn your mood into a really bad one. His customer service skills are non-existent.

Every day that I have to set foot in this Walgreens is the worst day of my week. Pharmacy staff is surly, rude, and unhelpful to the point of actively obstructing my access to care. They take an already broken health care system, and add a layer of bureaucracy comparable to my insurance company. Retrieving medicine should not be an active source of trauma in my life, yet here we are.

Do I really need to say it? Prescription medication, unlike popcorn or Cheetos puffs are something you need for you health. In other words, it's not an option. There's no question of whether should I get it or not. The pharmacists and their minions know this. As such, there's always an air of superiority and attitude when you're spoken to (if ever). As if they're solving the national debt crisis or work for the national security agency. The truth is that dispensing pills is the last thing any pharmacist wants to do while in med school. Most became clinical researchers and work for the FDA or some big pharma making tons of money. All the while most Walgreens and CVS pharmacists hate the fact that their work consists of counting pills. So, dear pharmacists, please be nice to us as it is not our fault you ended up working at Walgreens.

Great customer service and very helpful staff! I had a canvas photo printed at walgreens a few months ago and unfortunately the backing came off when the canvas was dropped on the floor. I brought the canvas photo in to the walgreens at noriega not sure if they would be able to help repair the canvas. One of their employees, Nathan, was so helpful! He took the time to assess if the backing could be replaced and once he determined he could, he replaced it within 15 minutes in the store. Really appreciate the thoughtful customer service!

Now, I understand why this walgreens has low star rating. I was picking up my prescription this evening and the asian (perhaps Chinese) young pharmacy tech was just rude and belligerent. I was merely asking questions and help about my prescription and he was just speaking back to me so fast with a thick accent. Aggravating the situation, he was conversing with me indirectly while he continued looking at the computer without eye to eye contact with the customer. Proper and professional service is really wanting from this walgreens and other locations. I will research if I can get better service elsewhere like CVS, Amazon, then I will switch in the earnest. I hope the store manager and owner read this report and fix customer service otherwise they will lose long time loyal customers. So I am adding another review comment. Next day, I contacted my health insurance and told about my dilemma. Bottom line. This Walgreen pharmacy tech could have issued me my prescription the same night...I probably being blacklisted because of this review because now the prescription that he said and showed me was in stock is no longer in stock and I have to go to the Geary Blvd Walgreens. Beware of this blacklisting at this Walgreens. They may even hamper with your future prescriptions.

This is a spacious Walgreens on Noriega. I found lots of items I needed. It's good to see some Walgreens are still open in San Francisco. The cashier was very helpful. A good shopping experience.

Pharmacy is slow. So very slow. Waited for a vaccine shot for 30 minutes and there was no one else getting a vaccine.

The pharmacist gives his customers bad information and tells his team to do things incorrectly. They incorrectly say that HIPPA laws require them to do things their way.

This review and these 5 stars is for the pharmacy at this particular Walgreens location. Well specifically, these 5 stars and this review is for Win at the pharmacy. I'll try to keep this short. I have tested positive for covid and qualify for paxlovid, which like everything else is difficult to obtain, hard to track down, given the failure of this system and its health care structures. Win went above and beyond to find me the medication regardless, despite a slow internet system and not having the medication at her location (Walgreens get it together, make sure your pharmacists have the necessary tools to help us!) ... she called me back twice, ensuring I got dialed in with what I needed. In a country that's falling apart and in a system that's burning up from the inside out, I'm grateful for people like Win. A lot of other people would have blown me off; they are tired, disconnected, altogether indifferent in an era in which it's so obvious, structures in place and the jobs they hold do not care about them. Not Win. Because of her, I will get my medication in time for it to be effective. I think it's pitiful that a corporate company like Walgreens can't have a more reliable system in place for its customers, in terms of tools to find supplies and the medical supply in and of itself. Maybe the same should be said for big money pharmaceutical places who make things like paxlovid? I really don't know. All I know is given the research, it should be accessible as other meds. Win, thank you for rising above our lousy system and enacting helpful, different practices. You made a difference today. Thank you and many blessings to you!
