I've had much better experiences at this Walgreens pharmacy compared to others. They answer the phones whenever they can, and were glad to answer my questions and make sure my discount card was applied, even for controlled substances.

Pharmacist & Pharm Tech were both great. My rx was just e-submitted before I walked in and wasn’t ready yet but they pushed it to the front and I got it filled in <5 minutes.

Do not get your medication at this pharmacy. They just messed up my child's prescription (crazy~mis prescription can kill people). He had been taking it for three days of a five day treatment and now I'm calling his doctor to make sure he's ok. I know people make mistakes but they need a better safety system to prevent such mistakes. Scary~never going to this pharmacy again.

Definitely Worse walgreen store for customer service. Even gaslighted us that it's our fault that the QR code didn't work. Came here just to get a FedEx package. QR code given by FedEx didn't "work" then tried showing Government ID "doesn't work" then tried to give tracking information "doesn't work you will need to go to an FedEx store" they didn't know where, so both myself and my partner had to call FedEx support. Even FedEx support said the worker in Walgreens could have done it manually. But no the employee said it didn't work when they didn't even try. Lazy much right yeah. Hire better workers. Even made me shaken because stress. Thanks for nothing.

Don't bother with this Walgreens if you can avoid it. They don't staff the pharmacy with enough people so they're super backlogged on prescriptions. They don't answer the phone either.

This used to be a good pharmacy. I've been going here for 25 years. They appear to be very understaffed. It always takes multiple calls to get my prescription filled, and then the line to pick it up is at least 10 minutes. I'm currently in a lot of pain, and they have still on filled the prescription my dr sent in 30 hours ago. I was on hold for 30 minutes last night, and am now holding again. So frustrating.

If you are looking for a pharmacy, you'd be better off going somewhere else. (Don't use the Noe Valley location). Extremely incompetent staff, even though they are polite. They have difficulty troubleshooting and need workers with more common-sense capabilities or more experience.

Great pharmacy, but severely understaffed. I write this review as am waiting on hold to speak to a pharmacist-- a hold that has lasted *87 MINUTES* (and counting). Honestly might be the longest I've waited on hold... EVER. And I can't just hang up, cuz I need medicines n stuff

All the Walgreens in SF are horribly understaffed these days, but this was one of the worst cases I've seen. There was a 20 person wait for the pharmacy and no way to check in for a Covid vaccine appt ahead of it. There was no posted signs or information shared to ppl in line. Do vaccine receivers even need to wait in the same line as medicine pick up people? If the line takes an hour, will our vaccine appointment times still be valid? What time do they stop administering the vaccine? Without that info customers can't make the right decision to adapt their schedule around this kind of a delay.I asked several other non pharmacy Walgreens staff for help / info and they all told me to just wait in the pharmacy line. Horribly mismanaged process. It's not store workers' fault that they're understaffed but it's the managers fault that there isn't clearly communication (even just posted signs) to help people figure out what to do when their pharmacy is slammed. Especially because Walgreens pharmacies are ALWAYS slammed these days.

The worst pharmacy I have ever frequented. Incorrect alerts stating prescriptions are ready, 45 min lines, prescriptions not ready, asked to wait 10mins, then 10 mins again, then wait in line and told the pharmacist incorrectly filled the prescription and told to wait another 30-40 mins. I'm livid.

Nicest staff of any Wallgreens In San Francisco. Helpful, calm, informative-especially the pharmacy staff.

This pharmacy and store is so unbelievably slow. The people are nice, but it's obviously understaffed. Every time I come here I waste a ridiculous amount of time. Hurray for the American health care system. Honestly makes me want to spend more with Amazon.

Third time at this pharmacy. I get a call to pick it up, I go the RX and they can't find it. Every time I go to this pharmacy they are disorganized. Ultimately they needed to refill it while I waited. No apologies no thank you for your patience. I'm not even a rude person yet they treat me like it was not there fault and I was the problem

I am here from out of town, realized I forgot some meds. Walked in on a busy Christmas eve day, and they were super front, efficient and caring. Thought it was important to say thank-you

If you are curious about what the worst case example of customer service looks like, come to this Walgreen's in Noe Valley as it represents the very best of being the worst. There are a lot of reviews about the state of the pharmacy, and that is certainly one issue. The level of customer service has absolutely gone downhill over the last few years. Something changed and it went from "ok" to long wait times and inflexibility. However, it's not just the pharmacy that performs poorly, the entire staff at this branch operates as if the customers are a huge inconvenience they experience in between their breaks. They are grumpy, under-trained on how to resolve basic issues on the cash register, and are unempowered to resolve elementary customer service issues. For example, they blame "the system" on the inability to do basic product returns. Definitely do not bring something that you bought up the hill at the Diamond Heights Walgreens while you were doing your weekly grocery shopping at Safeway to this branch to do a return while you are completing your shopping on 24th Street. It confuses them and if they don't have the item in stock, they can't process the return. This is so simple, it's a service that every branch type of business does to process the return and internally ship the product to the right branch... If you dare to ring the bell to get assistance at a locked cabinet to buy a higher priced product, you will wait a very long time. When someone eventually does arrive, they will be highly annoyed and sigh deeply as if they have just hiked Mount Everest to get to you. If you look at the yelp reviews of neighboring branches of Walgreens in the neighborhood, there is definitely something that needs to be addressed at the Noe Valley branch. We need better service in our neighborhood.
